Thank you for your very positive review. We appreciate your taking the time and making the effort. We were out on 02/23/16 to do the annual spring fertilization of your maple tree in front of the house, the cherry and burning bushes by the street along with the dogwood & par on the left side of the house. We were back out on 03/15 to expose the roots on your Crimson King Norway maple using the pneumatic AirKnife tool, and severing girdling roots where possible. We will be out later this spring/summer for the injection of your 5 blue spruce trees to control cytospora canker disease. In late fall / early winter we will be out for the annual fall fertilization of 3 silver maples, pear, 5 blue spruces, cottonwood tree, and 12 blue junipers. We will be out in the summer to treat your azaleas, rhododendrons, taxus and shrub hollies to protect them from the black vine weevil insect. And in the fall, we will come out to do the annual fall fertilization of the red maple and magnolia trees.

Description of Work: This company has taken care of our trees for years. For this job they removed a big, old magnolia that had been damaged by weather and ground the stump, removed a volunteer tree behind garage, and pruned a large maple and did maintenance to the wires strengthening the maple's limbs. We had several companies give bids on this job, because it was so big. Forest City was the most expensive by a wide margin, but we went with them because their bid was also the most comprehensive and they were the most responsive and even were willing to rebid twice with different parameters. Also, as they did the wiring in the tree, we felt they knew how to maintain it. The other companies didn't even see the wiring until we pointed it out (which made me think they didn't really know their stuff as well). Ultimately, Forest City is the company we rely on, and the price difference wasn't enough to lure us away. We are always more than satisfied with their work. We love our trees and they take great care of them.

Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to post a review for us - it is very much appreciated. We were out on 04/11/16 to treat the junipers on the right side of the house and at the right/front corner of the house with a soil injection treatment for insect control. We were back out on 04/18/16 to apply horticultural oil to all appropriate evergreen shrubs in the front, sides and back, including the arborvitae hedge along the east side of the back, plus yews (taxus), boxwood, pieris japonica, rhododendrons, etc. We will be back out later this spring / early summer to treat all appropriate evergreens for spider mites, lacebugs, & scale insects. In the fall we will be doing a soil injection to control leafminers, aphids, & borers on your river birch in front, the honey locust in back for plantbugs & calico scale, and the boxwood hedge along the drive & front walk for psyllids. We will also be doing the annual fall fertilization and winter protection applications in the late fall / early winter. Thank you for the opportunity to be of service.
