Description of Work: They provided an estimate, and the man who came out was very professional and helpful. However, unless your need is an exact fit for the range of their service, they don't waver from their business model. They are roofing pros - why couldn't they help solve a major problem for me, but a minor fix for them?

Description of Work: I needed an attic helf moon vent replaced that was about 28' off the ground and required removing all the siding from the bottom of the ven tot the peak and replacing it. Bob Dutton came by gave me an estimate and took care of it, no problems. He even had to do some searching to find a replacement that was the correct size. All done by phone as quoted. We are moving this summer and I will be calling Fairview to give the exterior the once over and have them fix whatever needs attention. Excellent company, excellent price!

Description of Work: It's been a while since buying my storm door. But Fairview Home Improvement gave me a good price a for US made storm door. They quoted the full price, tax included, so I knew how much everything would cost, down to the penny. I did not get roofing done, but I will use their estimate as a baseline when I get more comparisons when I'm ready to get the work done later this year. There is a good chance that I'll have my roof done by Fairview Home Improvement.

Description of Work: They stopped by to furnish a quote. I had already had a few quotes so I knew the style and what type of windows I was looking for. I gave him all of the specifications and left him to do his thing. A few days later I received his quote which was substantially higher than others I had. I sent a brief response to the e-mail which simply stated that the price was way to high. I would certainly consider them for other projects as I accept quotes

Description of Work: Company provided an estimate - came out very quickly after my phone call requesting one. They called me back with the estimate. We connected again by phone when I told them to go ahead with the work. This happened on a Saturday - when I looked on Tuesday - the work had been done - don't know if they came on Monday or Tuesday to do the work. They replaced a piece of siding that had blown off in a storm; and they repaired some siding and part of a door frame that had been damaged by our dog. I am happy with the look of the work; how quickly it was done; and I thought the price was very reasonable.
