After hearing a horrible rattling sound from our 10-year-old refrigerator, we suspected the compressor was failing. My wife called Ed to come and have a look before we ran out to buy a new one. Unfortunately it was the compressor after all, but we felt Ed was very thorough, forthright, and helped us to realize that paying $500-600 to repair the compressor was not a wise idea, given that's the price of a new refrigerator. We ultimately bought a new one, but will definitely call Ed for other appliance concerns.

Great guy! He was very personable and he took the time to explain what the problem was and how he was going to rectify it. Ed was very knowlegeable and andswered all of my questions. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a professional who enjoys his trade.

Repairman showed up on time, fixed the problem. A week later we found that the dishes were not being cleaned so we called him back. He came out a day or two later and found the pump was clogged. He fixed it. I feel the price he charged was extremely fair. He knew exactly what to do and did it well. Very professional, honest and efficient. I would recommend this company and will call them again.

We received excellent service. The work was performed quickly and both appliances are working great. I was very comfortable with Ed in our home,he is a very nice guy. I liked that he answered the phone and called to let us know when he was close. Ed explained everything that needed to be done before he did the work. We will use Ed in the future .I highly recommend Ed's Appliance!

He was good and I've been satisfied so far. We found him in the paper and he was also on Angie's List so we called him. He wasn't far from our house. It wasn't a much of a repair but it was an electrical problem. He was a very accommodating person and he was very nice. He was very courteous and his service was very good. He told me if I had a problem within a couple of months to call him back and he will repair it again for free of charge. He wasn't sure if that was all there was to the way it was and that's all the problem was. He was excellent and there was no problem. I was happy with him and he was fine. There was no problem with the price and he just took $20 extra. He was here for a while and took the whole panel out. It wasn't like he was here only for ten minutes. He was good and I will use him again. The dishwasher has worked fine ever since and I use it every couple of days. He answered all the questions we had. He had a little trouble because he got stuck on another call but that wasn't really his fault and those things happen. He got stuck here longer and he had another call too so that wasn't a problem. We liked him real well. He is really a nice guy and we both really liked him.

Called for an estimate and received a fair price. The part had to be ordered for the next day. On the day of service there was a big snowstorm but Ed was able to make his call on me even earlier than exoected to better meet my schedule. A fair price, excellent work, and punctual service, I cannot ask for anything more.

The Thursday before Easter, one of my burners on my glass stove top, and my top oven (double oven) stopped working. On Good Friday 4/22/11, I found Ed's name on Angie's List and called around 3:00pm. Ed stated he would be out that evening to look at the stove. He was able to fix the burner and said he would order the part for the oven...he was able to temporarily fix the oven so I could use it for the Easter weekend. I was able to use the oven and the stove top through the holiday weekend! The part arrived the next week. I was amazed to find a repair service that would not only come out for an evening appointment, but that was willing to make sure I had everything working for the holiday weekend as well. Ed was very professional, friendly and affordable! I would recommend him to everyone!

Ed, the owner, is very personable. He arrived when he said he would and seemed to know exactly what was wrong and proceeded to repair it. He also noticed the door seal was coming loose and he replaced that. I felt his price was reasonable and would not hesitate to call him again when the need arises.

The frost had all frosted up and my refrigerator stopped working. I called and then he came when he said he would. He said he would be a little bit late so he called to let me know and that was great and thoughtful. Then he had to remove the part, he defrosted what had frosted up in the refrigerator to make it stop working while he removed the part. When the part came in he replaced it.

I would call Ed's Appliance again because I appreciate an honest repairman who is concerned for my safety.

Ed was great. He called me right back on a weekend and offered several suggestions over the phone for me to try first. They were very helpful suggestions that ruled out other causes. But alas, every time I turned the water on to the washing machine, it would s*** back out of the machine where it is supposed to enter it. Ed came out on a Sunday and took a look, identified and showed me the problem, and called me Monday with the price for the part and gave me a total price. Service was top notch, Ed went the extra mile, and his rate was reasonable. Very pleasant fellow too. Highly recommend.

Our refrigerator's freezer compartment had ceased working properly. He came out promptly and noted that the electronics were malfunctioning. He installed a new circuit board and advised me to let him know if it didn't reach appropriate freezing temperature by the next morning. I called him the next day. He came out and did some checking, concluding that there was also a leak in the sealed system. He waited while I contacted GE to find out if the refrigerator was still under warranty (only seven years old, it was not). He told me that the repairs would be about the same as the cost of a comparable new refrigerator. He was definitely looking out for my interests as a consumer. He removed the circuit board and refunded all my money except the $60 service call. I can't say enough good things about this company. He took the time and care to make sure that my problem was solved. He was very straightforward and professional. I recommend him highly.

Ed came out and looked at the dishwasher as scheduled. He determined that it needed a new pump and ordered it right away. It was due to come in the next day. He said he would call and confirm,once the paet arrived. The part did not get there the next day and he called back to let us know this and we scheduled a time for the next day. Ed came as scheduled changed the part, and tested the unit. He also left the part he replaced. He was very consciensous and called a few weeks later to make sure everything was OK.

Not only did Ed arrive promptly and within the time frame he quoted, he waa able to quickley assess the problem and make the necessary repair to our refrig/freezer and at a very reasonable price! We would HIGHLY recommend Ed and will definitely utilize his services going forward should a need arise.

I received SAME DAY SERVICE from Ed’s Appliance! Not only was Ed courteous and professional, his service was efficient and timely. Early in the morning I realized I had a problem with my dishwasher. With a family of five and the holidays approaching, this is a huge concern. Ed called to confirm his arrival time and was at my home shortly after noon. He was able to pinpoint the problem in minutes and replace the part. The total project was completed in less than 30 minutes. This is fabulous service. I would highly recommend Ed’s Appliances.

As is my luck, my oven conked out the night before Thanksgiving. I was able to identify the problem but did not find any parts stores open on the holiday. Ed called me back ON THANKSGIVING just to give me advise and to help me do a temporary fix to save our cooking plans. He even left me his cell phone number in case I ran into trouble! They don't make service people like that anymore! :-) Thanks, Ed!
