Everything went well. They were careful in their work and after cleaning the chimney made sure that everything was performed to my satisfaction.

Very timely, which is definitely appreciated. Installed caps and were done within 30 minutes. Got overall view of the condition of my chimney without unnecessary repairs being suggested. This is my first vendor using Angie's List and I couldn't be happier. Also got a cash discount which was a few dollars more than the coupon being offered. I had this job estimated at $300 two years ago and got it done for $180 last week.

This is our first home and we had never had the fireplaces or chimneys looked at and haven't used them before. Gary and Greg came out and were very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. They were both also very honest which is hard to find these days. They told us our chimneys did not need a cleaning. I also had some concerns with the existing masonry. Again, Gary and Greg were honest and told me what I wanted to do was not necessary at this time. With their knowledge, they made a few recommendations that would address our concerns. Their recommendations were good to where we wont have to worry about the chimneys for a long time. At the same time, they did not want to do more than necessary so my wife and I didn't have to spend an arm and a leg on services we didn't need. That shows alot about their character. I have come across several companies for estimates on other work that I wouldn't even let back into our home. These guys are great, I will be calling them back if we need anything else and I would recommend them to anyone.

They were very good. He said they could come out every year. They said I many not even need them every year because I don't burn wood. They were very quick.

Gary called about an hour prior to arrival. He and his crew set-up the equipment quickly.The chimney was pretty clean since I had him sweep it previously. Excellent service and punctual.

They were prompt, on time and extremely thorough in their inspection and education of the chimney. I also referred them to my parents, who subsequently had Century Chimney install a new cover and clean their chimney. Not and quot;user friendlyand quot;, obvioulsy not interested in getting clients. With appointment hours only between 9:00am-3:00pm, Monday to Friday, this means that most people with a 9-5 job cannot use this company. They weren't interested in offering any other time.

Very good. Gary was able to get to our home within 4 days of my call and was on time. He was very informative on options to increase heat from the fireplaces and how ways to keep drafts out.

Excellent. They saw that the damper is a little off it's ase. Showed me how to use it. Saw that no cleaning was needed so they only charged for inspection and the visit. Very professional and courteous. Were in and out of apartment in fifteen minutes.

Work was performed efficiently

It went very well. Gary is very pleasant to deal with and very flexible. He had given me a quote for the same type of job 2 years before this and the cost was much cheaper. However, he informed me that the cost of the product used was very pricey and the labor charge was competitive with other installers. I had used him in the past and had experienced his honesty, candidness and fairness. Therefore, I felt the cost was worth it for his time and professionalism. If product lives up to its warranty I look forward to two beautiful chimeys and a front porch that will not be affected by the fickle Cleveland weather for at least 10 years.

The whole process was much easier, cleaner and quicker than I ever expected. I regret not doing it years ago and will definitely make this part of our regular maintenance going forward.

Great. Gary told me everything looked fine. He showed me how to operate the flue and went through the steps for using the fireplace. I appreciate not being charged for anything more than that and for not taking advantage because I didn't know anything about it.

I purchased a new house in August of this year. Unfortunately, the gas fireplace equipment in place appeared out of date. I called Gary to inspect the current equipment and evaluate the fireplace's abilities. Gary was very knowledgeable and suggested several alternatives.

Everything was done very promptly and in an incredible professional manner. Gary was there on time and called beforehand just to give a heads up. Service was quick and excellent. The damper did not need to be replaced and he just put right back on it's hinges. Will definitely use him again and recommend him.

I called them and made an appointment for the following week. They arrived 15 minutes earlier than the appointed time. And did the work within one hour. They capped three chimneys and did it very cleanly and i paid cash for the procedure. They gave me a discount.

They did not try to sell me other services or products. Friendly and honest. I would use them again and would highly recommend them to family and friends.
