Bob's Appliance Repair

Bob returned my call the same day. He came over around noon and was finished by 12:30. He was kind, considerate, and answered all of my questions about the dryer. He also noticed that the washer was not hooked up correctly, so he re-connected the hose on the washing machine and moved the plastic utility sink so that it was underneath the spigots. The people who owned the house before us had moved it over the drain instead which was about three feet away. Before leaving he checked all of my other appliances quickly. He told me everything was in good order. I would definitely call him again if I need help.

Bob was on time, extremely courteous, capable, and reassured me that our refrigerator was in good shape after cleaning.

I called Angie's List about 2 hours ago for referrals, the tech was out within an hour of my call. He was able to repair the dryer. I don't think he was here more than 20 minutes. No muss, no fuss, and very pleasant people.

Bob is a very reputable and honest Angies list provider. He never asked to be paid for all the advice he offered.

They were friendly, professional and pretty much knew what was wrong from asking us questions on the phone prior to coming over. They were timely. They provided us with valuable hints to maintaining and running our dryer to help it work more efficiently. They also did not charge us for a service call and were very reasonably priced. They showed expertise with our washer and old dishwasher and offered to help us with advice in repairing, replacing other large appliances at no charge. They seem to be real honest, trustworthy guys with a lot of knowledge and we will definitely call them again when we need help.

Bob came, looked at the problem and figured out what part he needed to fix the cooling problem. He had to purchase that part and returned in a short time with it and did a very competent job in repairing. We would certainly use his service again.

He was in our house within an hour of our phone call. He repaired it on the spot. He was very helpful. We were quite pleased with the service he gave us.

It took two calls to get him out to my house, but he did a great job. I would definitely use him again.

I telephoned Bob Saturday afternoon and received a voice mail. I left a message and my call was returned in about 15 minutes. I explained the problem and Bob stated that he can repair the dryer within an hour or two due to a previous appointment. He arrived on time and was accompanied by an assistant Ed. They were both pleasant and knowledgeable and went the extra mile. I was pleased the service and price and I will use Bob's Appliance Service again as well as recommend the company to all of my family and friends.

I LEFT A MESSAGE AND BOB CALLED ME LATER THAT NIGHT. IT WAS OBVIOUS HE HAD BEEN WORKING ALL DAY AND WAS RETURNING MY CALL LITERALLY OVER DINNER. HE SAID HE DOESN'T WORK ON DEHUMIDIFIERS, BUT ASKED ME TO DESCRIBE MY PROBLEM AND THEN GAVE ME SOME ADVICE AS TO HOW TO GO ABOUT GETTING IT REPAIRED, HOPEFULLY UNDER WARRANTY FROM SEARS. BOB WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM SOMEONE WHO KNEW HE WASN'T GOING TO GET MY BUSINESS ON THIS ITEM (JUST BECAUSE HE DOESN'T DO THAT KIND OF WORK). I WILL RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE, AND USE HIM IF I CAN IN THE FUTURE.

ANOTHER GLOWING REVIEW FOR BOB - I CALLED BOB WEDNESDAY MORNING HOPING TO SET-UP AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE HIM REPAIR A SQUEALING DRYER. HE SAID HE WOULD BE OVER THAT DAY. HE ARRIVED IN ABOUT 90 MINUTES. HE HAD AN ASSISTANT WITH HIM. THEY QUICKLY RESOLVED THE DRYER ISSUE. WHEN I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT WE HAD JUST PURCHASED THE HOUSE AND ALL OF THE APPLIANCES WERE INCLUDED, HE ''CHECKED OUT'' EACH APPLIANCE AND MADE MINOR REPAIRS AS NEEDED! BOTH MEN WERE VERY PLEASANT AND HELPFUL - OFFERING TIPS FOR GOOD APPLIANCE UPKEEP. THEY WERE VERY QUICK, TIDY, AND PROFESSIONAL. ALL THIS FOR ONLY $40.00! I WOULD HAVE GLADLY PAID MORE FOR HIS TIMELINESS AND HELPFULNESS. THIS GUY LOVES APPLIANCES. I WILL CALL HIM EVERY TIME!

AFTER LEAVING A MESSAGE FOR BOB, HE RESPONDED WITHIN TWO HOURS AND COMPLETED THE REPAIR BY DAY'S END. WAS QUICK AND EFFICIENT.

THE COST WAS VERY REASONABLE. I LIKED EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM. HE WAS A+ IN EVERYTHING. I CALLED HIM IN THE MORNING AND HE WAS AT MY HOME WITHIN 3 HOURS. I WILL KEEP HIS CARD FOREVER. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM AND WILL TELL ALL OF MY FRIENDS ABOUT HIM. HE SEEMS VERY HONEST AND RELIABLE, WAS ALSO VERY HELPFUL AND GAVE ME TIPS ON OTHER APPLIANCES.

I CALLED BOB ON A SATURDAY MORNING AND LEFT A MESSAGE THAT MY OVEN WAS NOT WORKING. HE CALLED BACK WITHIN 45 MINUTES AND STOPPED OVER WITHIN THE HOUR. NO EXTRA CHARGE FOR SATURDAY HOURS. BOB WAS VERY POLITE, KNEW EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS DOING, MADE THE REPAIR QUICKLY AND WAS REASONABLY PRICED. I WILL DEFINITELY CONTACT HIM AGAIN.

I NOW HAVE A REPAIRMAN! MY PHONE CALL WITH HIM WAS A BIT AWKWARD, THIS IS CLEARLY A ONE-MAN OPERATION AND HE USES HIM HOME PHONE FOR HIS BUSINESS. WHEN I DESCRIBED WHAT THE WASHER WAS AND WASN'T DOING, HE IMMEDIATELY KNEW WHAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. HE WAS ON TIME, PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. I CONSIDER HIS PRICING A BARGAIN. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE HIM AGAIN.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE, WAS AT MY HOUSE WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF INITIAL CONTACT. NOT ONLY REPLACED MY DRYER BELT, BUT COMPLETELY CLEANED THE MOTOR AND ALL PARTS, AND ALSO REPLACED A BROKEN KNOB ON MY WASHER. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

WHEN I CALLED A SECOND TIME ABOUT A BURST HOSE, THEY TOLD ME EXACTLY HOW TO FIX IT MYSELF, BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T WANT TO CHARGE ME FOR A HOUSE CALL!

FOR THE WASHER, THERE WAS A $25 DELIVERY CHARGE ON THE BILL THAT I DIDN'T EXPECT. I CALLED BOB AND HE SAID THAT IT WAS A STANDARD DELIVERY CHARGE, BUT THAT HE WOULD REMOVE IT BECAUSE WE HADN'T DISCUSSED IT. I APPRECIATED HIS WILLINGNESS TO WORK WITH ME ON THE BILL. I WILL DEFINITELY CALL HIM AGAIN!
