Description of Work: During the rennovation of our kitchen, our fridge was plugged into the wall for awhile with a heavy duty extension cord. Soon after we started to have trouble with it. I looked on Angie's list and found Bob with his excellent reviews. I left a message for him in the afternoon and Bob promptly phoned me back. We scheduled a time for the following day and Bob showed up at the time we had arranged. He diagnosed what was wrong and fixed the fridge on the spot! Thanks Bob!

Perfect!!
Description of Work: My 14 year old Maytag gas dryer wouldn't heat up so I went right to Angie's List, found Bob's Appliance Repair located right in my area. Called him and he dropped everything and came out and not only replaced my ignition switch but found the belt was ready to go anytime and the blower system wasn't large enough for the 12 feet of drier vent, so replaced those instead of me calling again for each item as they broke. He cleaned the entire dryer, gave me some suggestions on cleaning the vent, replacing the vent exhaust for better exhaust, and was done in under an hour! He also showed me the problem DRYER SHEETS cause inside the drier, so we will be using DOWNEY liquid instead! Great experience, very knowledgeable, and great price! I would recommend Bob's Appliance Repair to everyone!! Thanks BOB!!

HE IS HONEST AND STRAIGHT FORWARD. HE IS PRETTY GOOD AT RETURNING YOUR CALLS. GAVE ME A LOT OF HOUSEHOLD HINTS ON WHICH CYCLES TO USE TO MAKE THE WASHER LAST AND PERFORM BETTER. IF IT ISN'T WORTH FIXING HE WILL LET YOU KNOW.

THE ACTUAL PROBLEM WAS A GAS PROBLEM THAT HE WALKED US THROUGH. HE DOES NOT DO GAS REPAIR BUT WAS ABLE TO WALK US THROUGH THE PROCESS SO THAT I COULD FIX IT MYSELF. HE REITERATED THAT HE WANTED ME TO CALL HIM BACK WHEN I HAD PROBLEMS AND WHEN I SUCCEEDED, HE WANTED TO KNOW HOW THIS ENDED UP FOR ME AND HE WAS AVAILABLE FOR A GOOD PORTION OF THE NIGHT. HE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO OTHERS FOR APPLIANCE REPAIR.

I LEFT A MESSAGE ON BOB'S ANSWERING MACHINE. HE RETURNED MY CALL WITHIN AN HOUR AND WAS AT MY HOME IN LESS THAN 20 MINUTES. I HAVE AN OLD CROWNE OVEN, WHICH IS NO LONGER MANUFACTURED. ANOTHER REPAIRMAN WALKED AWAY FROM THE JOB SAYING IT COULD NOT BE FIXED. HOWEVER, BOB WAS ACTUALLY EXCITED ABOUT WORKING ON THE 'CADILLAC' OF OVENS. HE NOT ONLY REPAIRED THE OVEN AND A TOP BURNER, BUT HE ALSO REPLACED A MISSING KNOB ON THE OVEN TIMER. IN ADDITION, HE GAVE ME A DUSTING BRUSH TO CLEAN THE COILS OF MY REFRIGERATOR (FREE OF CHARGE). HE HAD NOTICED THAT THE COILS WERE DUST-COVERED. HE WAS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE, PROFESSIONAL, AND COURTEOUS. HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING HE WAS DOING STEP-BY-STEP. IN ADDITION, THE PRICE WAS MORE THAN REASONABLE. IT SURE BEATS HAVING TO PURCHASE A NEW STOVE, WHICH ANOTHER REPAIRMAN TOLD ME WAS MY ONLY OPTION. WITHOUT MY ASKING, BOB ALSO CHECKED THE CONDITION OF MY OLD WHIRLPOOL WASHER AND DRYER AND TOLD ME THEY WERE IN GREAT SHAPE. HE WAS TERRIFIC.
