GOOD KNIGHT'S SWEEP

Description of Work: He took pictures in my chimney from my living room and reviewed the concerns with me and why my chimney needed a more in-depth inspection. At the secondary inspection, I saw the video of the inside of the chimney and special places where there were cracks and holes. He inspected the outer chimney by going onto my roof and told me that I have no ash cleanout in my crawlspace. I will call him back in the fall to schedule a repair.

Description of Work: Scott was terrific. He took a good deal of time to examine our chimney inside and out, including going up on the roof, and was very clear in his description of the problems he encountered. It turns out that the chimney required major reconstruction and repair. We had removed an old vented gas log set and had planned to return the fireplace to its original wood burning condition. However, Scott was adamant this would be dangerous and on the receipt for the work listed the reasons for his decision. We concurred. We decided to install a vent free gas log set instead.
