Scott was great to work with. He performed the video inspection in real time for me. He explained in detail everything we saw on the monitor. He gave us great advice on what repairs and improvements we needed to make to make our chimneys safe. He never tried to up sell us on anything. He was very straight forward and honest about all the work we needed done. We decided on the work we wanted done and scheduled a start time. From that point on all I did was watch. Scott was there when he said he would be and completed the work in timely manner. Not once were we left wondering where he was or if he was going to return to finish the work. The work he did was quality work and Scott is a true professional that really knows his business. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends or family. I will surely use his services again when it comes time to clean the stove liner he installed.

Our furnace was vented through the chimney which caused a condensation problem--blistering on the wall in the upstairs bedroom. Not a pretty sight. The roofer informed me that a furnace company could make the necessary repair but not so. For this job you must have a masonry expert--enter Good Knights Sweep! Scott Campbell should certainly be "knighted" for his work. Not only did he make the necessary repairs he provided a tutorial on roof-chimney-masonry maintenance and repair. Plus, he worked on Sunday, in the rain, at an excellent price. He's returning in the spring with for some additional maintenance which must be done in warmer weather. An excellent job.

Business owner was prompt in returning initial phone call. He set a date...he was on time, had all the equipment he needed. He told us what he was doing and how. He advised us on further care of our fireplace. He spent about two and one half hours at our house. He was professional, careful with his shoes, and was well groomed. We will definitely use him again.

Scott was first hired to create a chimney crown and install critter screens. He found some damage and recommended an inspection. The inspection showed the need for a liner for both the hot water heater and the chimney. He gave me an estimate and stuck to it even though the work was done months later.

As usual, another good experience. I highly recommend and I will plan to call again for another cleaning and checkup when needed.

Scott arrived on time and he was very professional. He took all the required information and we made an appointment for January. Unfortunatelyt, due to some City rules and regulations, there were some complications; we could not proceed at this time. However, once he has that cleared up, I will most definitely have Scott install the insert. He is a top professional who knows all of the requirements and he is not about to cut corners, he will get the job done right. I was very impressed with his knowledge and will definitely use his work in the near future.

Returned calls punctually, provided reasonable estimates that were reflective of final prices, flexible in terms of appointment times, did good work.

He was excellent, really knew his stuff and was more than happy to educate me as well. He measured the moisture in my firewood and explained areas of concern while using a camera that he ran up the chimney. He went the extra mile to help me understand my chimney.

My wife & I purchased a used Lopi Revere fireplace insert and started researching companies who offered installation. I found Good Knight's Sweep on Angie's List, the company was rated high. I emailed the company and Scott Campbell responded within a day, we set up an appointment for an inspection/quote. Once meeting with Scott ( Good Knight's Sweeping) and going over the project I contracted his company to do the install. Scott is professional, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and respectful. Once the schedule date arrived for the install he and his helper ( Matt) arrived promptly. He introduced his helper, which is his brother, and they immediatley started to set up for the install by laying tarps to protect our carpet. Scott kept me informed during the process of the install. Quick note: I was to remove the old flue damper which would help reduce labor cost which I removed, unfortunately I didn't remove enough of the surrounding bricks. Scott needed to remove more brick which added more time than what was originally quoted, however Scott did not charge for extra work. You don't run into many people these days who are willing to do business in that manner. Once the job was completed Scott went over everything he and his brother did that day. We are very pleased with Scott/Good Knight's Sweep and Matt, both are professional, friendly and respectful. Good people. The fireplace insert performs excellent.

They did a great job. He was prompt and did the work. He explained a few things and was gone. It wasn't real cheap but it wasn't expensive. It was what we wanted, a fair job for a fair price. They did good work.

Scott arrived right on time, in a clean uniform bearing his company's logo. He was at all times polite, professional, and supremely competent. His inspection took him up on the roof and into the crawlspace under the house, and he gave us a tour of our chimney interior via a snake camera and a large computer monitor, pointing out problems and concerns. He even made screen captures of important features and burned them onto a dvd for my own records. In the end, the chimney failed inspection; a relining of the flue and extension of the chimney are required. He provided us with a detailed estimate for the necessary work, and I will definitely be hiring him to complete it.

The owner came as scheduled, gave the estimate and followed up. He was very prompt and friendly. My experience with him has been good so far, and I would consider contacting him again in the future.

Very thorough inspection. Made some common sense recommendations to keep chimneys in good repair. Punctual an professional. Having him come back to do a level 2 inspection.

Scott did a good job on our Chimney. He did the work as promised and in the time frame given. Our old chimney was in need of repair. Our job took several days as we needed substantial work on both the inside and outside of the chimney. He replaced several loose bricks and flue tiles in the chimney, fixed our aging chimney crown, installed the chimney cap, re-worked the chimney for the hot water tank and replaced our old fireplace with a new wood burning stove insert. As we bought a non-conventional wood burning insert, there was some difficulty with the installation, but Scott was willing to put in long days to make sure the job got done right. We were happy with the job done and will keep using Good Knight sweep for our annual chimney upkeep.

I left a message and he called back right away. The wait time for him to come out was a little bit longer because of the time of the year. I was just going to have the chimney cleaned and then he climbed up on the roof as part of the inspection. There were a couple of things on the chimney that needed to be done, but I don't remember that off hand. He was very informative. I thought he did a very good job. I was very impressed.

While the job did not run start-to-finish over consecutive days, the service and repairs were excellent. I was offered options with detailed explanations for the repairs, and the final work is highly commendable.

Scott was thorough, knowledgeable and professional. He gave us some great in-depth information about the condition of our chimneys, and options for how we can use them in the future. The price for the inspection is a bit more expensive than most, but the information you get is above and beyond what most others are capable of. We hope to work with him to get our chimneys back in useable shape.

The price was good and the job was excellent. The guy I worked with was excellent. He repaired the chimney and put a cap on it. He was prompt in returning calls. He explained everything about his work.

It went great. He was a great guy - very nice, very knowledgeable and good at his craft. He saw areas that could be problems in the future and his prices for those were very reasonable.
