GOOD KNIGHT'S SWEEP

I want to give him 5 stars. He's not only profesional, but competent and polite. He cleaned up so well. I liked his work so much that I've refereed him to some of my neighbors. He even went as far as to touch up a couple spots that were poorly done by another guy in the past. He didn't even charge me extra. I told him when I'm ready to do my front steps, I'll call him back. He was really above and beyond what I was expecting. He gave me full value for my dollar.

I hired him to stop the rain and birds from getting into the chimney, but he didn't know how.

Wanted to get an inspection and clean out of a chimney at a rental property since the tenant was interested in using the wood burning fireplace. Good Knights Sweep arrived, was conscious of trying to keep the house as clean as before they arrived, and went about the level one inspection. It was quite thorough and explained in detail as it progressed to different parts of the house. Ultimately, they did not recommend using the fireplace mainly due to many items that would lead to improper venting of combustible gases. This mainly was due to the size of the flue being undersized and misalignment of the damper. An estimate was given to fix the issues so the fireplace could be utilized. Seems there was a squirrel's nest in the chimney because about three five-gallon buckets of debris was removed. I was already thinking of having an cap installed on top of the chimney exit and this more than justified the action. GKS gave an estimate for a galvanized and stainless steel one which seemed fair so I went with stainless steel which got done the next day. My impression of Good Knights Sweep is that they are above and beyond expectation in customer experience (communication, friendliness, prompt, detailed, quick service) than what you would expect and also more knowledgeable in all aspects (structure, types, seals, airflow, venting) of fireplaces & chimneys.

Even though the job was more difficult then we imagined at the beginning, Scott was persistent and dedicated. he worked through his week-end and honored his original price even though the job was more labor intensive than he had thought. He is one of the few true professionals around and if I have any work that is within his area, he will be the company I will call, hands down.

Scott arrived promptly, studied the problem, called another chimney expert for advice, went to Home Depot to buy the needed product, came back and cleaned the glass. It looks like new. Interestingly, he had originally quoted me a $90 price, for a level 1 cleaning, I think, but the job did not require that, so his final charge was his standard $35 service call fee + cost of materials. Whoever heard of someone charging less than quoted?

Great job. Very impressed with the work. I was kept informed of the progress and all of the details were explained to me, with pictures taken so I did not have to climb on the roof. I would not hesitate to recommend Good Knight's Sweep to anyone.

He was on time, and very thorough both inside and out. He did find 2 issues and gave us some suggestions for the best ways to get them fixed ourselves which were much cheaper than having him fix the issues. He was very careful to keep our house and carpeting as clean as possible. Excellent service provider & will definitely use again!

He was very responsive. He came out for the estimate within a day and scheduled me immediately after settling on a agreed upon price. He got the work done the next week. His work was great.

Scott was very responsive and personable. Our basement furnace was venting into a chimney flue which can cause breakdown of brick and mortar over time. Scott placed an aluminum liner down the chimney and connected it to the furnace to alleviate this problem.

Scott was nice. He arrived on time. He inspected the chimney and gave me a quote for other work. He charged me for the chimney sweep as promised. He is very knowledgeable and was pleasant to work with. He did take lots of business calls while he was working so he stayed longer because of that. That's my only negative.

Scott did a great job. Since I have a non operational chimney I needed a small job done of repairing the ceiling of the blocked off chimney. He was nice enouhg to come out for a small job, Very profesional...he knows his stuff. Would highly recommend!

Scott did a great job. He was on time and conscientious about protecting the area around the fireplace from damage and dirt. He was able to finish within his estimated time frame, and he gave some extra attention to unanticipated issues. I don't know that I would recommend the manufacturer of the stove (Napoleon) because of some minor issues, but the stove works well and we are very happy with Scott's work.

Mr. Campbell was knowledgeable and efficient. We were very pleased with his professional attitude and his approach to his customers. We will definitely use Good Knights Sweep again.

The jobs looked great and he took pictures of what he did on the roof so I could see the work. I thought that was really helpful. The front steps looked really great and he did a good job. It was a little difficult to schedule because of weather but he was great at keeping in touch with me during that time. The service was really affordable for the work he did and he was there for a quite a while. The deal was a very good value.

My experience turned out okay. They gave me a good amount service. While they were here, they discovered another problem that they were not able to fix however, the advice was very useful. Scheduling an appointment was very easy.

Scott did a wonderful job! He went above and beyond getting the work done. He explained the details and showed where he could fix the not so well done job provided by the builder. I highly recommend his service.
