I called and asked for a estimate of the cost for removing broken concrete block and replacing it with new block. I got a timely response from the company and was satisfied with the cost quoted to me. The work was done in the time that given and I was pleased with the outcome

Romanin provided a complete and profession estimate for a concrete driveway. I decided on a different alternative. But if I had gone with concrete I definitely would have worked with Romanin. They are responsive and really listened to the unique aspects of what I wanted.

Very prompt response to my message and coming out for an estimate. Very knowledgable and professional. Competitive pricing. We were lucky to have had 2 very competitive quotes and unfortunately in the end we did not go with Romanin; however, I will keep them on my list of preferred companies for potential future work.

All went well. The estimate was e-mailed to us promptly, and it spelled out everything in detail. Though the job was a small one, we were treated like we were spending $3,000, not $300. Phone calls with questions were promptly returned as well. They even poured on a rainy day and it looks great!

Romanin was easy to deal with. The office manager did an excellent job of keeping me apprised of what was going on, and was responsive to my questions. They were prompt - both when coming for the appraisal and for the job itself. They had to remove the old garage floor and drive. The garage floor was very uneven so that had to be leveled, and they had to replace the floor drain. The new floor and drive look great. They cleaned up completely and explained everything to me.

Romanin was outstanding in every way. They knew their business, were responsive and friendly, were competitive on price, and delivered a great concrete job. It was a pleasure dealing with these professionals.

The inspector was very pleased with the outcome, therefore I was pleased with the outcome.

I called and spoke to Jacki about getting a quote to repair city violations on our sidewalk. I had seen the company many times before, they are maybe 1/2 mile from our house, so I pass it often. The had sent someone out and gave me a quote within 2 days. After I made a deposit, they were in within a day or two and ripped out and hauled away the old concrete slabs. The next day they poured the concrete, and I think 2-3 days later came to remove the wooden forms. Everything went very smoothly from first call to final removal of wooden 2x4's. Wish other contractors were as reliable and punctual.

They said they would have to get a permit to come to the area. I called city hall and they said this was not true about the permit. It sounds like like they do not want to come to do services in this area.

They were very good. I have very happy with everyday. They were very responsive and one time. They were very organized. They are quick and efficient. The price was spot on with the estimate.

The walkway and landing were sunken at the porch about three inches. The tree was growing into the path of the sidewalk. I wanted the new walkway to go around the tree from the porch to the driveway. The foundation of the porch was deteriorating at the step and the side. I was afraid it was a place where animals could get in.

It was good, we had very little snow. When we did have snow they were there.

We had considered re-topping the existing asphalt drive but, because the concrete garage floor needed repair and the concrete walk needed replacement, we decided to investigate replacing the drive w/ concrete also. Received a prompt reply from Jacquelyn to schedule an initial inspection, which promptly followed w/ a detailed quote/proposal. The cost was higher than for asphalt but not significantly, considering the additional concrete work, including widening the section in front of the garage. After accepting proposal, Jacquelyn provided an initial estimate as to when the work would be performed, and kept us updated, as schedules can shift based on weather, etc. The work was ultimately scheduled earlier than originally anticipated (good for us!). Chris and his crew arrived as scheduled in the morning; Chris and I did a final review of the planned work as the rest of the crew hustled to stage all the equipment. It was expected that the concrete pour would happen the next morning but, apparently, the crew was more efficient and the work went more smoothly than hoped and, by the time I returned from work, everything was complete, including the concrete pour. Because of the threat of rain, Chris and his crew stood by for a while to determine if plastic sheeting would be needed to protect the finish. Finally, not trusting the forecasts, they placed the sheeting and called it a day. They returned the next day to finish off (remove forms, saw-cut crack controls, general cleanup). Overall, Chris and his crew were very professional, pleasant and, obviously, hard-working ... and the new drive looks great, much better than an asphalt drive ... kudos to Romanin Concrete and, especially, Chris and his crew!

I recently moved to University Heights. So, I joined Angie's List to help me find reputable people to help me. I called some near and high-rated snow removal companies, including Romanin. I spoke with Jacquelyn. When I told her where I lived she told me that Romanin only plows in Cleveland Heights because they want to provide fast, consistent service to their customers. I really admire that because experienced issues in the past with companies that are trying to drive all over kingdom-come in the middle of a snow storm, which delays response for everybody. I'm disappointed I can't use them, but respect that they're passing on a possible contract for the benefit of their current customers. Also, Jacquelyn called me back no more than 5 minutes after we spoke with the name and contact information for a person she knew who did snow removal in University Heights. Very professional!

Upon arrival, we were presented with a business card and a very impressive presentation. After the work area was viewed,we were given a written estimate. Please note, we had received three estimates prior to his arrival.His price mirrored two of the prior estimates. We were very impressed with this company but decided to choose anothercompany due to scheduling. I would highly recommend this company.

Everyone with Romanin was professional and knowledgeable. We first contacted them around October 2011 and our call was returned promptly. The quote was given in a timely fashion and any questions we had were answered fully. They broke up and removed our old driveway, prepped and poured the new concrete driveway all in three consecutive days. I've seen neighbors who have had their driveways torn up for weeks when they have similar work and done. This company knows what they're doing and it's impressive how professional they are. We will definitely use them again if the need arises.

They came out to quote the job very quickly and they always answered my questions in a timely fashion. The price was a little high so we decided to go with someone else.

Snow was never allowed to accumulate above two inches. Driveway apron was cleared again after being covered by city plows. .

I went with Romanin for my seasonal driveway snow removal this year and have been very pleased with their service so far. Even though the snow has been relatively sparse this winter they have arrived promptly during each heavy snow we've had and my driveway has been cleared efficiently and in a very timely manner, particularly on workdays when I leave for the office at 7:30 -- they have always cleared well before then. Absolutely no complaints here!

Romanin Concrete repaired a service walk at my home. The office mgr. emailed me a professional quote the day after I called, and after I accepted the proposal, the crew came out and did a very professional job. They left my yard in very good shape for tearing out and repouring concrete. Romanin also does my snowplowing in the winter. It is nice to pay up front, a flat fee that is very reasonable, and not have to worry about paying anymore, not have to worry about them not showing up, etc. Highly recommended.

The job went really well. They were very prompt in coming out to see the work we wanted done and calling us back. They did it very quickly, the job looked very good in the end and it was exactly what we were looking for.

The office manager kept us informed of possible work dates, gave plenty of notice once our spot on the schedule was established. The crew showed up on time. The work was performed very quickly and professionally. The concrete was poured ahead of schedule. I was very pleased with all aspects of this job: the communication, professional work ethic, timeliness, and the fair price.
