I'm a repeat customer. This time, I had the company replace a garage floor. They were professional, meticulous, informative, and cordial. I could not ask for anything else in a contractor.

I can't say enough good things about this company. The price was competitive with a new asphalt driveway, so we went with concrete. The office staff and workers were friendly, courteous, informative and responsive. I would recommend this company to anyone.

It went very well. They were prompt and courtesy. They had to laid the concrete down and they came back to make sure everything was nice and neat. They had had do some sawing around the tree. It make it look great.

It went very well. Romanin did a very nice job and communication with Christina in the office was excellent. The work was required to correct a city inspection violation. Small jobs like this have to be fit in among the large jobs, but the work still was done in time for the reinspection. This company was recommended by neighbors on Nextdoor.

Great - very easy - came out quickly and work done professionally. Only complaint is that the one section ended up with a spot in the middle - retaining small amount of rain water, but not really a problem.

We got several quotes from vendors, and felt that Romanin had the best overall proposal--though not the cheapest. We felt Chris did the best job of explaining what would be done and the costs involved. We were advised that it would be a month before the work could be done, which was fine with us. As it turned out, they ended up having room in their schedule earlier and called to let us know. On the day when the majority of the work was done, there was constant action. The team was prompt, work was done quickly and carefully. We were given information before, during and after the project. The crew was professional and friendly. A year later, we are very happy with the work and would hire Romanin again.

It went great. Romanin showed up on time and we went over what I need to be done, I went to work and when I returned home the patio was complete. It still looks good to this date. I wish I had gotten it bigger so I will be calling Romanin in the Spring.

They were phenomenal. The owner came to my house twice after providing me with the company's initial quote to answer questions for me. He was extremely knowledgable, very friendly and very patient. The owner as well as his entire crew were extremely professional and very nice. I could not be more happy with the job they did and the driveway looks great!

They were good with communication and email. We had to wait several months though to get the project going and done. They were among the more expensive.

They were extremely efficient, they came out for an estimate the day I called and sent out a team to complete the job the next morning. Everything was completed within 48 hours of my initial call.

Christina, in their office, was very friendly and professional. They were right on time in the morning. They kept the heavy trucks off my driveway, and were entirely independent, not requiring anything from me. They were able to pour around the bottom of our wooden to the garage attic, which my husband had not been able to remove. The floor is nicely leveled and is graded so to avoid rainwater running from the driveway into the garage. They did all this in a pouring rain. We're very happy with the service, and have already provided their name to our neighbors. When we need further work, we'll be happy to call them again.

They did a good job for giving an estimate for the driveway. It was a good bid. The experience with them was very good. They did a very good job. I like the whole thing. The price was reasonable. They were solid, came on time, did the work and cleaned up. They left a couple of walking stones out of place and I called them. They were back within an hour and fixed it.

I called Romanin Concrete to have them quote me for snow removal. The employee was pleasant and responsive. I ended up signing up myself as well as my direct neighbor to have our snow removal service handled by this company. I communicated with them directly and informed them the contract and check were in the mail. On the first day it snowed, I called to confirm I was on their route and they said that their service was full for the winter and that they'd send me my check back. No communication after this and now I am stuck scrambling to find someone else to do it. Too bad that most companies are already at capacity. I would not trust this company as they completely backed out of their agreement with me. Unprofessional to say the least.

Everything was okay. It was very costly because we needed it in a week basically. It looks okay. The guys are pretty good. They had one of the best prices compared to all this. They did a good job and they were pretty efficient. They were not the cheapest one but were among the cheapest. At the same time the company was suitable for me. The quality of concrete work is fine.

I had a good experience with them. They gave me a good price and provided me a lot of suggestions. I would use them again.

We used them for the 2013/2014 winter. When initially contacted they responded right away and came out the same day to drop off the contract and plow our drive. This winter was rough and they came out EVERY time is snowed sometimes even twice in a day on the really bad days. We were VERY happy and will use them again this winter.

It went find, I went to work and I came home and it was done.

Had provided a review in October 2005, shortly after the work was performed. Of course, I was thrilled - everything was beautiful! Chris Romanin was very professional as were his crew. I felt confident that I had made a good investment. My original quote of $6700.00 would have included replacement of a storm drain and a step at the front door. Chris pointed out that the original storm drain was connected up to the garage but didn't exit to anything. He decided that creating a step at the front door would be better off handled by my siding contractor. I agreed to the changes and he adjusted my estimate. I was told they would be pouring 4" thickness of cement and that I did not have to water the finished cement to help it cure because they were putting a glaze on it. I did not drive on it for the recommended 7 days. Then winter came... After the snow melted, cracks appeared at all of the drain clean-outs. Cracking was not covered under warranty. The cracks are now deep crevasses. There were no joints created at all in the service walk in front of the house (I was told they couldn't fit the saw between the house and retaining wall (my walks are parallel to the house). At every joint in the cement they replaced the blocks have seperated and each appears to have a 'life of it's own', lifting and shifting up to an inch higher/lower/sidewise. Vegetation grows out of these seperations and depending on the temperature, the blocks heave up and down . I look at the lower , much older part of my driveway and can't believe what happened to cement that is only 8.5 years old. It appears that Romanin Concrete had only been in business a couple of years when I contracted with them. I had called Angie's list for a recommendation and was told they were highly rated. I have only had a computer for @3years. And going to the library to do this research just wasn't feasible with a full-time job and house to maintain. I'm trying to be understanding, but each time I trip walking across my driveway or have to pull vegetation out of the deep cracks, it makes me feel sick to think of what it cost and how poorly that cement has performed. Not to mention, my front lawn is still full of pits and lumps from the tear-out of the old cement on my walk - it was thrown on the lawn - and while they removed large obvious chunks, I was picking rocks out of the lawn for months. When Romanin had finished the job, I'd actually asked for an estimate on the rest of the driveway (I have nearly 135 ft. total), and was told it would be @$4700.00. So glad I waited. Have been reading reviews on Romanin from more recent years and it appears they've improved greatly. I guess this is one of the 'joys' of being a single homeowner. I really didn't know what to expect and frequently you just don't know how well a job is done until a few years later. Really, never saw this coming when I viewed my beautiful new concrete. I believe it should have lasted much longer. The pavement is not abused. I drive an economy car - the only one that regularly sits in my driveway - and the only thing heavier - I have the snow removed in winter. I would really like for Chris Romanin to see this. I don't think even he would approve!

It was an especially snowy winter but our driveway was always clear. Some days were later than others, but always got to it eventually.

We were very happy with the promptness and professional attitude of the company workers. The work has held up well through the snow and salt so far. We were so pleased with the results that we requested a driveway quote for spring. Would definitely recommend for concrete work.

Very surprised about how fast they could properly remove the old driveway. Then scheduled the pour for a few days later. New driveway looks great and is holding up well. I did have only one concern that did not end up being an issue. I am pretty detail oriented and from the first estimate and review of the job, I made it clear I wanted to make sure the back patio did not look completely plain. I was told "they would do something nice with the finish". However when they were doing the finishing on the back patio, the finish was plain and the control joints were all off center, straight but…off. They took a perfect square pad, and made 4 completely different size squares divided by control joints. When I asked I understood the reasoning but needed to have them evened out. Luckily I told them at a point when the joints could still be manipulated. So overall, worked out good. But since that was my primary concern, I just wished I could have been provided with a clearer picture of the final product before it was in place. Regardless, I would use them again for any concrete work.

The Romanin home office did a great job of keeping me informed as to when the services would be provided. The crew was out early Monday morning and removed old asphalt and debris from existing driveway apron. They poured/leveled the concrete by noon! They were able to also pour supporting structure so that the driveway area was sound and secure. We were so happy with their work, we asked for an estimate to have the rest of the driveway done!

We have been a member of Angies List for a number of years, so when we needed concrete work done on our drive we searched the list for contractors. We contacted Romanin Concrete based on the reviews found on the List. We contacted Romanin on 08/16/13 to request an estimate for removing the three blocks of cracked concrete as well as two other contractors also on the list. I spoke to Jacquelyn the office manager who scheduled someone to come out on the same date and who emailed me a quote. After speaking with her about the details she rewrote the proposal and this was done expeditiously also by email. I was advised at the time of the proposal that, weather permitting they probably wouldn't be able to do this job until at least September,2013. From the time of my first contact with Romanin, I was able to get the other two proposals and decide who we wanted to choose. We chose Romanin because their proposal was the most detailed and covered most of our questions. On 08/28/13 we sent Romanin the 10% deposit and we were done. The other two contractors came out promptly, but their proposals were left in our mailbox and were not as detailed so there were lots of questiions about what exactly they were prepared to do to complete the job. Jacquelyn was our contact and let us know that she had received our down payment, that the permit had been ordered and as time progressed that they would call in advance when they thought they would be able to do the work. Everything went just as promised. On saturday morning of October 4, 2013 just about 3 hours before it rained, the company was able to complete the job. Needless to say we are very happy with the results and will call this company for future work. I did not check the box to share my review with the band of neighbors because I lack the time to have additional discussions with my neighbors.
