They were outstanding. We are so please with Windows Plus. They clean up after themselves and our cordial. They stand behind their product. I would highly recommend them. They are also, very punctual.

Shawn came out to my house to tell me about their window choices. He was friendly & informative. I had called 4 different window companies & they all had different selling points. I tried to be an informed customer and had done a little bit of homework about windows and took notes on the selling points that each company discussed. Windows Plus was the 3rd company that had came out to give me an estimate. Shawn was patient, seemed to really listen to me & answered the questions that I had collected from my discussions with previous window companies. Shawn was not pushy, did not expect me to sign a contract that night. I called back few days later with more questions and Shawn was once again friendly & informative. When I made my decision Shawn came back out for me to sign the contract. He explained the process of what would happen next. Someone would come out and measure the windows, it would take 6-8 weeks for the windows to come in & they would call to schedule the installation once the windows were on their way from the factory. The gentleman who came out to measure the windows was friendly, punctual & thorough. Sorry I don?t remember his name. He also answered my questions and explained what to expect next. After he left I did not hear back from Windows Plus. After about 6 weeks I called to check on the order. The office staff explained that the factory was running a little behind due to all the orders for windows that they had received. He said that it was taking 8-10weeks instead of the normal 6-8 weeks for windows. He said that the windows should be in by the first week of July. I received a call on 7/10/14 that my windows were on their way from the factory and should be in the next day. They had an opening if I was available for the installation. I let them know that I need to give my job some notice before taking off, so we schedule the installation for 7/17/14. Rick was at my house bright & early to install the windows. He explained that the bathroom window was not in yet, but should be in on 7/18/14. Rick asked if I would mind if the cut out early since they would have to come back the next day anyway. I had no problem with that. Rick explained what they were doing every step of the process. He answered my questions & did not seem to be annoyed or offended by them. They were very clean and even told me that they are comfortable with dogs, so I did not have to confine them. Rick was back at my house bright & early on 7/18/14 to install the last window & finish up the job. I let him know that I had a scheduled appointment at 11:30 so would need to leave the house for a bit. Rick finished up with everything that needed to be completed inside the house before my appointment so I would not have to feel uncomfortable leaving him inside my house alone. One of the owners ended up stopping out to check out the progress of the windows & to see how I liked them. I him know that everyone I had dealt with at Windows Plus was very friendly & informative. Rick and the gentleman he was working with let me know what they were doing every step of the installation & did a good job cleaning up. So far I am very pleased. The air conditioner is not kicking on as often & they work great. It does seem a little odd how easily the new windows open & close; but my old windows were old and with the house shifting they did not all open & close that easily any more.

The crew of 3 arrived on time. They divided themselves up into separate jobs and performed like a well-oiled machine. They were friendly, courteous, respectful and very precise and professional perfectionists! How I loved it. I had quite a bit of anxiety about replacing these 40-yr-old windows ("builders' special") because I did not know what to expect and the usual fears: strangers in my home, a huge mess to clean up, if the window holes are out of square do they know how to deal with that, etc., etc., These gentlemen were terrific! They even made it a little fun. Yes, overall it was stressful, but they were so competent that they overcame my misgivings. They worked non-stop from the moment they arrived and were even tolerant of my "being in the way" at times. They cleaned up EVERYTHING beautifully. The windows are of such exceptional quality and structure I couldn't be happier. I purchased the triple pane Soft-Lite Elements and a Provia Storm Door with the disappearing screen. They are worth every penny! I'd been debating getting replacement windows for years. I'm sooo glad I finally did it. I wish I had done it sooner, but now is just fine! I'm sure there are other crews with this company and that those crews are excellent, but Bob, Ken and Dave are absolutely fantastic! They were kind and generous to a nervous ole lady. By the by, I contacted this firm because I had had a replacement door installed maybe 20 years ago by this company. The quality of the door and the installation spoke of an honorable establishment, so I went back. This is a class act from the owners, the salesman, Eric Cones, to the three teddy bears of istallation. God bless you!

Just one guy came by and replaced both doors in one day, so it was about eight hours. The guy that did the bidding was a good guy. He was very trustworthy and local. They were true to their word and did everything in a fast manner. It took longer to get the doors in then it did for installation. They are just a good reputable company.

The installation crew showed up on time and did an excellent job. Chuck was great! We are very happy with our new doors, particularly the storm door with the dog door. It has been fantastic. We would use Windows Plus again!

The process from quote to installation was excellent. Shawn came out to go over our options, provide us a quote, and offer suggestions. Shawn was on time, courteous, and very informative. I was very impressed from the start. Installation by Bob, Ken, and Dave was amazing. They did great work and put more time and effort into making the trim for the windows than I expected. There was a large hollow wrap above my existing patio door. They spent the time to create a piece with extra bends in the metal to make it look better. There was no trash left behind and the crew was very friendly.

Made an appointment with me right away. Arrived on time, very informative. Received a quote at the appointment.

I tend to be a perfectionist and want a good job for my hard-earned money. I couldn't have asked for any better employees from Bill, the salesman, to Dennis, one of the co-owners, to Mike, the installer. Everyone involved was very professional and courteous. Mike the installer, was tops----clean and neat about his work, doing an A+ job, and followed through to the end, even when coming back to touch up the door frame. Bill, the salesman, not only came out to my house the initial time, but when I called back with questions, he said it would be no problem to stop back and show me colors/designs/door types on his computer so I could get an idea what I was actually buying and how it would look on my house. When I had a question regarding the costs, Dennis called me back promptly and explained the balance. I would not have any problem recommending this company to anyone considering entry and storm doors and if ever needed again, I will definitely call Windows Plus. They stand behind their work.

I must say that after getting 2 estimates from competitors, Windows plus was the most professional. The salesman spent the time patiently answering all my questions and detailing all the required work and materials. The installer was very curtious and went the extra mile to make sure the windows were installed correctly. I am very happy with the windows and the work performed. I will be calling on Windows Plus to replace another set of windows in my home. I will not look to anyone else for my windows.

Salesman was very informative about the specifics of the windows and the details of the install. Price was better than 2 others when comparing similar windows and install. They came out and measured 3 days later and the windows were installed in about 5 weeks. Install was completed in one day. Great craftsmanship. Very friendly informative installers. All around great experience.

Windows Plus continues to be top notch. Over the last few years, we have had Windows Plus do quite a bit of work on our home. Dennis has been my main contact on each endeavor, and I cannot say enough about him. The prices have always been fair and the work is fantastic. While work is being completed, the employees are always working hard and very respectful. I have contracted them to some additional work on the home over the next few weeks and have no doubt they will continue to do a terrific job. Hats off to Windows Plus for always providing quality work and service.

The salesman, Shawn, was personable and explained the window and process very well. Everything he said would be done, from removal of the old windows to installation of the new, clean up and etc. went exactly as he said it would. The installers were detailed regarding covering furniture and floor, installation and clean-up, courteous, and helpful regarding my questions. All and all an excellent experience from start to finish.

All employees I had contact with we're friendly, polite, professional and competent at their jobs. We are very happy with the quality of the windows and the installation went smoothly-no surprises. We plan to have Windows Plus back this spring to install more windows. We feel we received a fair price for a quality product.

We had older replacement windows which were leaking badly and our utility bills went up and we are heating over 1900 sq. ft. and the utility bill only went up like $40 in December. We kept hearing others are paying tremendous bill over $100 a month difference. We already had the old casement windows as our house was built in 1940 and we still have the original windows. The tenants said the utility bill was in between $200 to $300 for December. The average had been $176 for the year. We feel the windows made a very big difference. We were happy with them. We had them before August but they couldn’t really do the correct measurements as we couldn’t go in the house. They at least showed us what they had and gave us a ball park figure. They came out early in August as it took six weeks to get them. It was a two day installation because there were so many windows. There were a couple of little problems which they came back and fixed. Even our contractor said the installer was really good. We were very happy with the windows and as far as we know the tenants are happy with them and we never lived in the house. The price was very good. We had color suffix from where we got a double hung and we did something which was a little different from what most people want. We wanted a double screen and most people just get a screen. If you are going to have a double hung window what’s the point of only having screens. They obliged us with full screen and they also took out two of the basement windows that had been glass blocked so there were no open windows to the basement and we had them take out two other glass block windows and put in small sliders so that there would be some open windows in the basement. It just made me so claustrophobic down there; it is like if you couldn’t get out of the basement how will you get out. We were happy with the job they did and we are very happy with windows. They made a tremendous difference and to the look of the house. The other company that came took down the blinds and moved the furniture but Windows Plus doesn’t do that and if someone is a senior citizen living on their own and doesn’t have anyone to assist them they may want to consider that with Windows Plus they would need to do these things. They were very good with the service and we think even one of the owners came out to measure. First it was the salesman that came out and at that time we didn’t own the house and we were trying to get estimates. It was the day we were doing the home inspection and he came out but by the time he got there the home inspector had left, so we couldn’t have access to the interior of the house anymore so we were kind of outside. He was able to show us his samples and what they had to offer and go over it. We were happy all way around. They came right back and worked out with our tenants. One window had cracked and it was not unusual and they worked it out as soon as they could with the tenants and when they could be there to fix it. One of the screens didn’t fit quite right and we told him to take care of that the same time which they did and they took care of the things very promptly. They maintained their time schedule when they told me they were going to be there and they were there even for the installation. They were very easy to work with and we didn’t have any complaints.

They have no installed the doors yet but the owner, Rick has been very professional so far.

I ordered a door in July. The job was not completely done until Sept. I was cancelled several times until a Sunday that one man showed up. He spent an entire day installing. There were many things wrong, including a very poor fit. A hole had been gouged out of inside wall, a fairly large dent was in my outside siding. After complaining, I found out the man who came had no experience putting in doors. It was a big inconvenience until it was finally all fixed. The siding still has a dent , the wall hole was filled in. I could not recommend this company

Rick, his partner, Dennis and office accountant, Julie are all extremely personable and amazingly supportive of our gigantic task of replacing 33 cheap builder grade windows in our 15 year old home. Rick was our initial contact and he was so helpful in providing optional plans and information on completing just a few of our windows, the back and the sides of our house and finally, GULP, our whole house! He never pressured us and indeed, it took us a couple of months to decide what we actually wanted replaced. After much thought we realized that his price for 33 windows was very reasonable and probably the smartest route to travel. These folks are so exacting that Rick brought over his main math and measuring man, Tom to calculate sizes and what we, the owners needed to do to prepare for all of our windows to be replaced, i.e. take down curtains, blinds, etc. The process requires some 8-10 weeks as each window in the house is individually factory made to fit every window accordingly. When our 33 windows arrived, the fantastic crew of Bob, Ken and Dave worked painstakingly for three full days to remove our old windows and install our new ones. These guys were wonderful. They arrived at 8:30 in the morning and didn't leave until after 5:00 each day. Of course with 33 windows, it took three full days of work to finish the job. The weather was terrible the three days that they were working- extreme cold, blustery winds, and snow! That was never a stalling problem for these 3 gentlemen. They closed the room doors where they were working to keep out as much noise and cold as they could. They were aware of their feet and tracking in dirt, they covered areas where they were working and they removed every bit of trash and debris both inside and outside of my house. And, get this, Bob cleaned every window that they installed. As he put it, "I always clean customer windows as we install them. A car dealer wouldn't sell you a new car that was dirty. We clean our windows so the customer doesn't have to do so after we have installed them." We had a prior dining room window leak from our old windows. These guys were real sleuths, tracked down the origin of the leak, which was coming from an upper bedroom prior older window. They went in and sealed the area above and below and Presto, no more leaks!!! I should mention that owner Rick checked at our house every day that they worked and other owner, Dennis also came to view the process. They were both asking if we were pleased and if we needed anything done that wasn't currently being completed with the job. These guys really care about keeping the highest quality of their business and maintaining good feedback relationships with their customers. Our house looks great; we can already tell a difference in sound, snugness and overall comfort from our new windows. It also is real icing to the cake that our windows have a lifetime guarantee and transferable warranty to any possible new owners. It was a valuable investment for us and a fortunate day that we chose Windows Plus! Their service and quality are really "Windows A+".

Smooth installation, looks great.

We are extremely satisfied with Windows Plus. We worked with Eric Cone who provided excellent service and guidance in choosing replacement windows, basement glass block windows, doors, storms doors, bay window siding, siding on the end of the house. Workmanship was extremely professional and timely, calls were returned promptly, and work was scheduled without any delay. After each install, the workman cleaned up the area thoroughly and provided education on each item. We had 7 basement glass block windows installed, 16 windows replaced, 2 doors with storm doors replaced, bay window siding replaced, and end cap siding replaced on the house. We received excellent value for our money and highly recommend that you use Windows Plus for your needs.

Crew showed up at the appointed time and went to work. They went through the windows one at a time, removing the old window and putting the new one in place. Once the new windows were in place, the technicians did the trim work, which was the most time-consuming part of the installation. When they finished, the cleaned up, both inside and out. They even vacuumed the carpet inside where they had been working. The windows were not quite as clean as I had hoped as the glass had multiple smudges on the outside. This was pretty minor though. Another minor issue, which I had been warned of in advance, is that the interior frames need to be touched up a bit due to damage received in removing the old windows. One window had a crack in it. I have been assured that this will be addressed as soon as a new pane can be obtained from the manufacturer. The windows have a lifetime warranty, so I believe this would have been fixed even if the technician had not noticed it during installation. Another minor thing... the company was not very proactive about scheduling installation. I ordered the windows and, after a couple of months, called the office to check on them. I was told that the windows had arrived and was given the opportunity to schedule installation. It would have been nice to receive a call from Windows Plus when the windows arrived rather than having to check on them myself. Overall it was a good experience and a good vendor to deal with, but there were a few minor issues which prevent me from awarding a perfect score.

It was a great weather day and they showed up promptly.__ 2 man crew was very amiable and there all day AND DID A FABULOUS JOB.__ Very professional.__ They were open to my suggestions as we went on thru the day to make sure customer optimization was achieved as we opened up the old frame associated areas (STANDARD PROCEDURE) (to see how it weathered over the yrs.)__ It appeared they did a good job thoroughly chalking all areas and ensuring flashing was in the proper alignment.__ Doors look great and I was very impressed the owners in "Down liTe" co. vests showed up to also inspect the work and chat heartily..__ NEXT TIME I WOULD PUT UP MASKING TAPE MYSELF ON ADJACENT AREAS AS THAT IS NOT IN THEIR SCOPE.__ I WOULD ALSO HAVE SOMEONE TRIPLE CHECK THAT ANY PICURES OR WALLS / ORNAMENTS ARE REMOVED IN ADJACENT AREAS A S THEY CAN SHIFT DURING INSTALL EFFORTS.__ THAT IS ON ME , .........................BUT HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE CUSTOMER DOES THAT 1ST. Regardless of vendor or type work I always recommend taking "before, during and after" pictures of any job. The reason I gave a "B" for price was I allowed myself to exceed my budget not knowing how fast it can rise with options. Another garage personnel access door I would have like to replace but their price estimate was for a heavier garage door and out of my budget range for that small item.________________Apples and oranges: 20 ga. vs 24 gage steel. IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT (GENERICALLY) "SOMEONE GAVE THEM A LESS THAN STELLAR GRADE" DUE TO A LATE APPT. SHOW-UP. ...... IN GENERAL WITH ANY VENDOR: EMERGENCIES ARISE AND THINGS CHANGE. .....I FEEL IT IS IMPERATIVE TO GIVE VENDORS AN OPPORTUNITY TO RESPOND AND MAKE THINGS OPTIMAL FOR THE CUSTOMER. ANGIES LIST IS NOT INTENDED TO BE A BULLY OPP. IF A VENDOR MIGHT BE DELAYED FOR DOCUMENTED LEGITIMATE REASONS THAT ARE COMMUNICATED IN A RELATIVELY TIMELY MANNER.__ I HAVE VERY HIGH STANDARDS A S A QUALITY PROFESSIONAL AND IT HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE THAT WINDOWS PLUS HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY PROFESSIONAL, TIMELY , PATIENT AND GOOD PRICING.__ MANY TIMES I HAVE INTERACTED WITH THEM AND AS A BUSINESS THEY GET IT.__ THEY DO A LOT OF THINGS TO ENHANCE THE EXPERIENCE INCLUDING A THANK NOTE FOR THE VISIT.__ BBB gives them good rating s too as I am very thorough who I even let on my property.__ i would use them again in a heart beat and have recommended to others the same.
