The crew was extremely efficient and pleasant. They worked very hard and had our new landscaping done in days. Jeff and another worker came and worked on a Saturday to finish things up. Also, Jim and the whole crew were very accommodating to last minute design, layout and plant selection changes. They were very flexible in working with us throughout the installation to get everything just right.

He initially said it would be $655. I told him to be very careful of my English Ivy and the Creeping Euyonimus. They used round up and killed a big bush and my English Ivy, even after I told them not to use the that. The technician assured me he knew what he was doing. I called them up and they told me that I had "collateral damage" and he told me that they would clean it up and replant for me. I waited and waited and I never heard back. Finally when I called back they told me "he" did not work there anymore. I talked to the owner and he said he would take a look at it. He said that there were a lot of weeds back there and that he wouldn't send his men back there with the Poison Ivy. They trimmed trees that didn't belong to me which I had told them. They planted two flats of English Ivy and he charged me $125 + $255 for labor for their mistake! They didn't prune the perimeter plants like they were supposed to until I got on them. I would not recommend them.

Their estimate was about what the other companies quoted us. They came out promptly to give us an estimate. They did the first mowing before we left town, and it looked beautiful when they were done. The neighbors confirmed that they came out regularly while we were gone. (And we did sell our house!)

It was excellent quality. I would hire him again. They were very good at solving problems and their finish work on the patio was great. The extension looks good with the existing area. I didn't think they did as well with the pruning, but I don't think that's their specialty. That wasn't the main job I hired them for. They did a fine job with the spring clean up.

Wimberg Landscaping was called in to clean up after a mediocre season of lawn & landscape service by others. I had been familiar with Wimberg for several years & was impressed with their work, but assumed they were expensive. After dissatisfaction with our existing service, I called Wimberg for a bid for 2006 & was surprised to learn that they were less than our current service. Wimberg has only performed fall cleanup to date, but their work was like night & day compared to the previous contractor. I have signed a contract for the 2006 season with Wimberg.

WE RECENTLY SWITCHED OUR REGULAR LAWN SERVICE TO PETER A. WIMBERG COMPANY. THEY WERE RESPONSIVE TO OUR INITIAL INQUIRIES, ANSWERED OUR QUESTIONS AND QUICKLY SCHEDULED A TIME TO PROVIDE AN ESTIMATE OF THE WORK THAT WE WANTED DONE ON A REGULAR BASIS. IN ADDITION TO REGULAR MOWING, THEY ALSO HANDLE LANDSCAPE CLEAN-UP, WEEDING, BUSH PRUNING, RE-SEEDING, ETC... THEY ARE A FULL SERVICE COMPANY. THE WORKERS ARE ON TIME, COURTEOUS AND RESPONSIVE TO REQUESTS. THEY LEAVE A DETAILED SUMMARY OF THE WORK THAT HAS BEEN COMPLETED ON EACH VISIT. WE ALSO PLAN TO USE THEM FOR SNOW REMOVAL DURING THE WINTER.

VERY RESPONSIVE. I NEEDED QUICK HELP PREPARING THE YARD WHEN MY LAWNMOWER BROKE AND I WAS HEADED OUT OF TOWN. WITHIN 24 HOURS THEY PROVIDED A QUOTE FOR GRASS CUTTING AND MULCHING. I WAS HAPPY WITH THE QUOTE, BUT STRESSED THAT THE YARD MUST BE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION ON THE DAY I RETURNED. IN A 10 DAY WINDOW, THEY TRANSFORMED THE MULCH BEDS AND HAD THE LAWN LOOKING GREAT. I'VE SINCE USED THEM FOR LAWN CUTTING WHEN I WAS OUT OF TOWN FOR EXTENDED PERIODS.

THE SERVICES WERE CONTRACTED VIA PHONE COMMUNICATION. THE VENDOR MADE AN INDEPENDENT SITE VISIT. OWNER WAS NOT PRESENT WHEN SERVICES WERE RENDERED. THE SERVICES DELIVERED WERE EXACTLY WHAT WERE REQUESTED. THE WORK CREW NEATLY CLEANED UP ALL THE BRANCHES AND ROOTS AND LEAVES.

I SENT HIM $75 (THIS WAS HALF OF THE TOTAL ESTIMATE) ON MAY 2ND, AND I GOT A CARD SAYING THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS, THOUGH HE HAS NEVER DONE THE WORK. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM.

IN THE END, THE JOB WAS DONE, BUT AT LEAST 2 MONTHS LATER THAN THEY STATED. IN ADDITION, THE GROUND COVER THEY PLANTED IS RATHER SPARSE AND LOOKS LIKE IT WILL TAKE SEVERAL YEARS TO ACHIEVE ADEQUATE COVERAGE.

THE WORKERS SEEM LIKE THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY NEED TO DO. THEY HAVE MULCHED OVER PLANTS, PLANTED THINGS IN THE WRONG AREA, AND THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIVE. THE OWNER DOESN'T CONVEY WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO THE WORKERS.
