We had a pipe break due to freezing and found Tri-State Complete Home repair and Maintenance on Home Advisor. Tim and his crew showed up and began the restoration project. That is when things got messy. He found a major structural defect caused by a decade of water leaking from an exterior door. Tim came up with a solid plan to mitigate the problem and executed it flawlessly, quickly and professionally. He scheduled every phase of the project including Mold Mitigation, structural repair (framing), Drywall and Painters. Start to finish Tim got the job done. All of the crews that work for him were prompt, courteous, professional and thorough. Tim is a professional PERIOD. He is extremely good at what he does and a perfectionist. Every step of the way he takes the time to communicate his plan, explain the steps needed and then EXECUTES! This group of pros have restored not only my home but my faith in small businesses. I contacted 3 contractors listed on HomeAdvisor. Tim at Tri State was the ONLY one to call me back. He not only called me back but did so within the same day of my leaving the message. He rearranged his schedule to meet me at a time that worked for me. He also was able to fit my job into his very busy schedule. He replaced an exterior door, repaired drywall AND plaster, and cleaned my box gutters. All this was done in a very timely manner and the clean up when the job was finished was top notch! Tim is an excellent resource and I would not hesitate to use him in the future. Thank you for your help :)

From small projects to an involved restoration, Tim and his hard-working crew had the know-how, motivation, and professionalism to do a first-rate job. He completely rebuilt a window box on my 100+ year old house, to an appearance better than it looked when I bought the house over 30 years ago. He also rebuilt and repainted (3 coats!), operable heavy wood shutters. He has acted as general contractor on a porch roofing/restoration project. He maintains good attention to detail, has very high quality standards, and stands behind his work. I feel confident that his recommendations and guidance are solid.

Tim's an all in one shop! We have worked with him to remodel our second living area to remove a wet bar, repair drywall and floor as well as a few odds and ends around the house. Tim's attention to detail in the projects is outstanding. He takes care of our needs as if he were taking care of his own home. Excellent communication, fair price, friendly and helpful!! August 2018. Excellent work. I hired Tim for several projects, including painting outside doors and porch, repair porch, gutter repair and power washing. All the work was first class with great attention to detail. I would hire Tim again.

Initially hired Tim's firm to replace deck flooring, rails and stairs. His crew did a good job and we were satisfied. Tim & Amy inspected the work and found some issues that he wasn't satisfied with. He fixed the issues to his satisfaction, which exceeded our expectations, and did so voluntarily at no extra cost. Se were so pleased with Tim's professionalism that we had him do more projects. One crew came to repair drywall and prep several areas for painting. Another crew did the painting of 2 bedrooms, laundry room, basement ceiling, front door and garage. We were having flooring installed by another company at the same time. They found water and termite damage near our front door, and couldn't complete the flooring until it was repaired. I called Tim in a panic and explained the problem. He and Amy came the same day and worked until 9:30 pm to repair the problem so the installers could complete their work on schedule. Tim & Amy also did repairs to a crawl space. Tim & his crews are professional, thorough and efficient. Tim follows up and inspects every project to assure that we are completely satisfied. We have more projects scheduled based on the excellent work done so far. If I could award more than 5 stars, I would.

AWESOME SERVICE!! I can't tell you the last time I recieved this kind of service! I had an issue that I needed a contractor to look at and was under a time restraint. I just happened to find Tim's Company online. I gave him a call in the late afternoon, and to my surprise he was able to come out the next morning. Not only did he make my priority his priority, but went ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations!! He throughly examined my problem, offered a solution, honest answer and quote. Tim Braun, the company owner, did a good job replacing my storm door & window screens. I especially appreciated him taking the old door & all trash with him. However, weeks later (& after one phone call reminder), I'm still waiting for the promised e-mail receipt which detailed the work done & the fact that I paid him in cash.

Tim and his crew were friendly, dependable, and super talented. They saved us hundreds of dollars by finding creative fixes to problems (and opportunities) and many hours of time by sizing up all the jobs, procuring materials in one fell swoop and working on multiple projects at the same time. They made and installed three gorgeous 3 by 4 foot raised planter beds for a reasonable fee and we are having our best start ever to the veggie growing season. They also hung pictures, put together cabinets, fixed electrical issues, installed lights and made sure a iron railing became safe to use, once again. They don’t dawdle, are honest about what they can and can’t do and leave our home looking more beautiful and feeling more safe every time they visit. Call these guys if you want the job done right at a reasonable rate. But don’t everyone call at once! We need to be able to schedule them for our ever growing list of home maintenance and repair jobs! Seriously, they can handle it all! Thank you, Tim!

My dryer broke and I wanted it repaired right away. They arrived about 5 hours later. I did an internet search for repair options near me. A few popped up. I read the reviews and they were very good. Tri State Complete Home Repair and Maintenance. Tim answered the phone and needed to check the schedule. He called me back in about 10 minutes and said Brian and Pat would to set the time. Price was very fair. The motor clamp had popped off and had a little damage. Brian was able to make it work. He assured me if I have a problem again in the next 30 days, the trip charge is waived, and I will only pay for labor and parts. ***************** WHEN HE WAS DONE HE SAID, YOU PAID FOR AN HOUR, IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE ME TO TAKE A LOOK AT WHILE I AM HERE? I was very impressed with Brian and Pat. They were efficient and did not try to upsell me. I will definitely recommend them and call them again.
