Description of Work: we had to have a small section of our roof repaired that caused severe damage to the point of a section of our ceiling in our bathroom falling in. the immediately came over and put a temporary tarp over it repair the repairs were done quickly and satisfactorily. They really bent over backwards to help us with an affordable payment plan. So I highly recommend them !!

Description of Work: Tecta cleaned, repaired, and repainted all of the box gutters on my home, replaced rotted wood soffit panels, replaced a missing downspout, replaced about 20 slate shingles on the roof, and repaired the flashing on a bay roof. | |Mike did the initial estimate, and was extremely prompt and easy to deal with. I had some questions after his first visit, and Mike came back a second time to look at some areas I was concerned about. Mike answered my questions and provided an updated estimate to cover these areas. | |There was some miscommunication about what day Tecta would actually perform the work, and the crew did not begin work on the original start date. I contacted Mike and the issue was resolved immediately. The crew showed up the next day and completed the work in a timely manner. | |I could not be happier with the customer service I received from Tecta, especially Mike, and feel that I received a fair price for the work performed. | |

We go to great lengths to stay in touch with our customers who are "on deck" and try to stick to agreed upon start dates. When those dates can't be kept, for weather or other reasons, we are supposed to call so that we can reset the date. In your case that didn't happen and we apologize. I have already spoken with Tim Carter, our Installation Mgr., and Kevin O'Rourke, our Customer Service Liaison regarding this and we'll learn by it. (removed member name)... thanks for posting the review. We have some work to do, looks like, to make you happier. My biggest concern is the "B" for quality of workmanship. I didn't know until I opened the Angie's List Review (today) that we didn't measure-up to your quality expectations. I will have our Customer Service Liaison, Kevin O'Rourke, reach out to you today (June 3, 2014) via telephone. We'll set up a time for either me or Tim Carter (Installation Mgr.) to stop by to meet with you so you can show us what isn't quite right. Sorry about that. As for the "B" on price, I understand that we are certainly not the least expensive contractor in town. We do pay our employees more - perhaps far more - than much of our competition, but for that good pay we expect quality work, so back to my initial concern. Thanks again for the overall good review. Description of Work: This company was a subcontractor of a primary contractor doing repairs in the spring and were brought on to fix a flashing leak. The work was performed but the leak was not fixed. This company came back and indicated that more work was necessary and gave an estimate for same. That estimate was accepted by telephone. When nothing happened after a couple weeks a call was made to the sales rep Mike who indicated that a signed copy fo the estimate was necessary and the work would be done immediately. A signed copy of the estimate was immediately faxed to the company. When nothing happend after several more weeks a call was made to Mike who indicated that he would have the person who schedules call me the next day. Hearing nothing after a couple more weeks another call was made and Mike again said I would receive a call the next day. Another three weeks passed with out a call and a call was made and message left for Mike. Now we are another two weeks latter and still no return call from Mike...or from anyone else from the company..and now the weather is about to change which will prevent the work from being done if not done immediately.

We contacted the member within a day of receiving the above report from Angie's List and have attempted to contact him by phone and email several times since then to address his concerns. We are waiting to fully respond until after we have heard back from him. While we agree there was poor communication on our end, there are also several key inconsistencies in the above narrative that we would prefer to discuss with the customer before we post our response. Our hope is that after reviewing the issues with the member he will modify his assessment of our performance to a more favorable and representative grade.

Description of Work: Jim Harris, the sales person, was very prompt after our initial contact. He explained the work that needed to be done, that being removing existing roofing and installing a new roof. As we had roof leaks showing in our interior ceilings, and time was of the essence, we decided to accept Mr. Harris' bid of $7,449 without my usual practice of seeking three competitive bids. The roofing started within two weeks and took three days to complete. The crew was very helpful, polite, explained their process, and asked if we had any questions or special requests. The resulting roof was very well done and looks nice. The Zero Company is a large company, and handled the project in a very professional manner. They also billed us in the amount that was quoted. Dealing with such a company also comes at something of a price premium, which is the case with this project. However the project from start to finish was well done, and under the theory that you get what you pay for, the outcome is quite satis
