He did a good job and got rid of the hornets.

The initial phone call to inquire about their services was very good. The lady answering the phone was very attentive and informative regarding my wants and needs. She said she would pass along my information and concerns to the field person and I would receive a call back to schedule a time to come out. I received a call back 6 days later, at that time discussed concerns and scheduled him to come out 2 days after that. He arrived shortly after the designated time and applied the pest control to the foundation, around windows and doors and along the inside of my garage. I used the 10% coupon from Angie's list. The technician said if I saw anything inside the house or had any concerns to give them a call.

They called this morning needing directions to my house. The technician also questioned the problem that we were having. The technician gets to the house was dressed in dirty jeans and shirt. He came to my door the first thing he said he needed to wash his hands. Then he came back from the van and came to the door with a can of spray and a flashlight. We talked to the technician for about 15 minutes and decided to cancel the service. The technician didn?t want to get fired and didn?t want us to call his boss. After the technician left he called me 3 times to see if we called his boss. I called and spoke with his boss and he never apologized for the technician?s appearance. I then called a few hours later and spoke with a women and she never apologized as well.

We tried spraying the wasps ourselves, and had removed some smaller nests, only to have the surviving wasps build more nests higher up until we could no longer get to them ourselves. We called Sure Thing, after finding them on Angie's List. We told them we belonged to Angie's List and they asked if we had a coupon, which we did, and they came out the same day. There was still some nest remaining because it was caught up in some electrical wires going into the house, so it was not safe to knock down, but it was treated and the wasps are gone. We were told the remaining nest may fall out on its own.

Very well. One of the owners actually came out and did the work. He went into the crawl spaces to check for places the insects could be getting in, and throughly checked the perimeter of the house and sprayed. He also wiped down spider webs. I thought he was thorough in the work and he also explained everything well.

We were bombarded with ants.. little ones in the kitchen, carpenter ants around and on the porch... We were always reluctant to call an exterminator because we have chickens running around the property. When we removed the rotting wood on the front porch and found more ants, we knew we'd had enough.... I found Sure Thing on Angie's List, they had a great reputation and positive reviews, were competitive on price, and they were VERY courteous and thorough - I think they were at our home for a couple of hours, not just a quick spray here and there. So far we've seen no more ants... not even the hard-to-rid-of little pesky ones in the kitchen. Apparently we can let our chickens out in a few days as well... glad we finally called!

They were very professional from start to finish. I had left them a message over the weekend. They returned my call the next business day, arrived on time to my appointment, and explained in detail all of my questions. I will be using them again in the future. The cost included tax and the Angie's list discount.

The technician was very knowledgeable and gave me helpful information about to discourage the ants from coming back. Then he treated the shed in about half an hour and was finished.

I called a couple of companies, and they told me to wait until winter and all of the yellow jackets would all die. I didn't want to wait because we had landscapers coming the next day. Some of them were going to charge a very high amount to come out. The guy that came to my home sprayed and killed all of the yellow jackets. He completely dismantled the peat moss, and took all of the nests off of the patio and disposed of it. Whatever I paid for this service was absolutely well worth it. They came in and got the job done. I would use them again in the future.

The person on phone was both professional and responsive. Dave came out very quickly and called me with his assessment of the situation. He relayed that he had treated this property in 2005 (long before I owned it) for the same problem and that there was not much he would be able to do. He explained how and why carpenter bees do what they do, which was helpful to my understanding. His equipment wouldn't allow treatment up near the roof line where there are droves of them, but he explained my other non-extermination options for remedying the problem. I asked that he return to the house and at least treat the holes on the deck posts which he did right away. (I recognize that this will take time to work, but when the insects were still buzzing around me all weekend, I had to take firmer action. I went outside this evening and zapped the holes with standard Wasp and Hornet killer and they started flopping over. I probably should have tried that in the first place, as the professional remedy was considerably more expensive than a can of wasp spray, but Dave's explanation was helpful to me and I think he did what he could.

Jerry was very professional. They measured the house for the price quote vs. some companies flat rate and they ended up being cheaper because of the time they took to do the job right. Excellent company.

They sprayed outside my house. They also gave good suggestions. When I first got an estimate from them, and decided to go with them, they said that they would call the next day, but I did not receive any call due to a minor misunderstanding. So, I had to call them the third day to make sure that they were coming out. We had wasps in a specific room, and they cleared it out. My overall experience with them was good.

They were very good. There is a one time fee & that includes 5 years of follow up. They make a huge effort to get a hold of people when it's time for inspection. A few days ago they were in the area & they stopped by to see if they could do their inspection because we hadn't responded to their postcard yet, so that was good.

Treatment went very well. Kim Hagerty was our Pest Control Operator. He took great care to give solid advice and good information. We are pleased with the results, but if you know anything about bed bugs (and we did NOT), it takes 6 months to a year to know if you are completely clear. So far, so good. I would strongly recommend Sure Thing Pest Control.

The experience was fantastic-they got to us quickly, Jerry was very very knowledgeable and friendly and easy to talk to. He did an incredibly thorough inspection, and when he found no pests, he actually didn't charge me at all for the visit. He was very straightforward about how they would treat roaches if we had them (with the same chemical in combat discs) and advised me to buy a set of combat discs and then to use paper traps that he gave me free of charge. If I'd found a bug in a trap, he said to call and one of his guys would come out and get it and they'd call with advice about what to do next. Luckily, we never saw another bug.

I have not seen any spiders since they sprayed. I have seen a lot of dead bugs by the floor boards. I suppose these were killed by the spraying.

The service technician called & came when he said he would. I showed him the 2 nests. He said that he would come back at any time, if the problem was not solved. He asked how I had heard of his co., & I told him "Angie's List". I was never offered the 10% discount...it was never mentioned.
