He was very honest and professional. He told me he was booked solid and couldn’t even come out for an estimate. I have seen his work and would use him.

They arrived on time and completed the work in one day. The driveway looks very good. We'll have to see how it holds up. My only complaint is that they took 2 hoses I had positioned for my flower beds and combined them - that was ok, but they didn't put the hoses back the way they found them. This is not a serious problem, I was just a little surprised the hoses were left tangled up.

Excellent. He told us exactly when we would be on the schedule - he was there on the day he was set to begin and completed the work within the week. I was especially impressed with him returning at night to cover the curing drive with tarps for protection. Great professionalism and highly recommended. Will likely call him again when needed for future work.

We called nearly every A and B provider on Angie's List, and only three came out to give us bids (most didn't even call back). Stone Brothers gave us the most competitive bid. They told us they could do the work 10 days out, but had a cancellation and did it almost immediately after the bid was accepted.

Delivered as promised. Made some scheduling adjustments to accommodate the weather and Halloween.

Our call was returned promptly. The work was done well; neatly and no mess.

I called Stone brothers for an estimate. They came out and gave an estimate within a couple of days. I called them to ask a few questions. This was the first sign of trouble. I asked a simple question about how the replaced area would look compared to the non-replaced asphalt. The response was a big to do about how I should indeed expect it to look different with a tar stripe covering the joint between the new and the old section. And he went on about how other unreasonable customers seem to be surprised how the two sections don't blend in, as if I were one of those customers. It was a simple question of what to expect. The baggage about other customers was not necessary. I then asked whether he would guarantee the work against the asphalt sinking again for 12 months. He said he would. He told me specifically to write on the contract the words warranty against "settling". I sent the contract back to him for his signature for the alteration of the contract. He sent it back to me crossing out the word "settling" and replaced it with "cracking" which other contractors had told me that they couldn't warranty cracking because even sealed asphalt will sometimes crack. And cracking is way more likely to occur than settling. I tried calling him back 3 times, 2 or 3 days between calls, and left messages asking for clarification of why he replaced "settling" with "cracking". He never called me back. Perhaps if he told me that he couldn't warranty against settling because there was too much risk of that happening, I might have gone with him anyway. As it was, waiting about 1 week to 10 days to give him the courtesy of calling me back wasted the month of August away and my alternate companies said that it was too late in the season for them to do the job. Fortunately, a semi-commercial company was willing to do it, and we had a longer end of summer that allowed the late work.

Responsive to my initial phone call, came out to give an estimate within a few days. Called the night before coming to do the patch, and before coming back to seal the drive. Good, professional job. Only complaint is that they left a couple handfuls of asphalt pieces in the beds next to the driveway. Didn't get any other bids--we have used them before, and their price was very competitive on previous job.

I called for bids from three contractors. Mitch Stone of Stone Bros., Inc. provided a very reasonable estimate within a day of my phone call. It took two weeks to obtain all of the remaining bids. The Stone Bros. bid represented the best understanding of the problem and its solution and came in at a price that seemed in the right range for the size of the job; we authorized their bid. This past week, Stone Bros. performed the work, and they did an excellent job; I was able to observe several phases of the work in progress. I would give the company a hearty recommendation.

Stone Brothers did an excellent job. They are fast and efficient. They removed and replaced the entrance hill the first day and seal coated the rest of the driveway on the second day.

Excellent job. Had to use more asphalts than quoted but didn't change price. Made a small error but repaired immediately - based on price, total work was great.

We have a large drive that can fit 8 to 9 cars. I thought it would cost much more to have the cracks fixed and the entire thing sealed. Called on a Friday got the estimate on Saturday. We waited until the middle of the next week to take the bid to let other companies give us estimates (4 others never came). They called that Friday to say they would be in the area and could to the job that day. From first call to finished in one week. They did a great job, edged and cut back a lot of growth that we thought we would have time to clear before they came. Crew was clean, fast and professional. Stone Brothers will be taking care of our driveway from now on.

Arrived on time, did the work including carefully cleaning the driveway of all debris, filling all the bigger cracks, and coated it well. They didn't leave any mess. Getting this small job fitted into their schedule took a while.
