After two conversations with owner Mitch Stone, he neglected to show up and provide an estimate either time. This is unfortunate as I have dealt with him / Stone Bros. in the past and had a pleasant experience. After my first call to Mitch, he said he would be out to my house within a week. He never showed. I called about three weeks later and he apologized and said he would be out within a few days. He never showed and never called.

They were on time. They did a great job. They got here when they said they would and they finished on time. They left the area clean.

I have used them since 1979. I have a shared driveway with my neighbor with aprons in the back and we split the bill. I think we paid about $300 each. I recommend them all the time and say I have used them for years. They are reliable, give me a price and it never changes. They do great work. They are meticulous, clean and they don't get off the asphalt on the brick sidewalls. I could not say enough about them. I did some shopping last year and they were a hair more than one other company, but I went with them because of their reputation and my history with them. I gave them a choice of three days when they could do the work because we had to adjust the parking. They showed up the day they said on time. They said they would be here at 8'oclock and they were here at 8 'oclock

They did what they said and their prices were very competitive unlike the other places where they were a bit pretty high.

Wasnt thrilled about the results, we have recently experienced a lot of cracking, im not sure if it is due to the harsh winter we just had. I attempted to reach out to this company and I havent heard back yet. This was about a month ago.

I called them based on a recommendation and their good rating on Angies list they were prompt in sending someone out to look at the work we wanted to have done and Mitch noted he would send the estimate over to us. I offered my email but he preferred to mail so no problem. About 4-6 weeks went by and I never received the proposal so I called the office someone else answered and told me they would remind Mitch to send the estimate out I let them know again that we really wanted to have this work done before fall and the leaves started dropping, he assured me I'd receive the estimate in the next couple of days. Another couple of weeks pass and I still have no quote so I called again, left a message on their VM and never got a response, never received the estimate....nothing. Very disappointing that this is how they treat customers.

They were responsive with my inquiry, provided a reasonable quote and completed the job earlier than anticipated.

Did a great job at a great price

I contacted them in May 2013, but due to prior committments and weather delays, they performed the work in July. Stone Brothers removed and hauled away our old asphalt driveway, leveled and graded and compacted the existing base, installed two compacted inches of #404 asphalt, rolled and compacted the surface, tamped the edges, sealed the seam at curb with tar.

Stone Brothers removed the previous layer of asphalt, dug a trench and installed a drainage pipe that I will tie in with the downspout drain, leveled and graded the surface, and repaved and compacted the driveway. An excellent job was done, was on schedule, and the work site was immaculate after work was complete. It was an excellent experience all around, and I highly recommend Stone Brothers.

Great work! Mitch was professional and easy to work with. He gave us a quote early in the summer, but we were having other things done and didn't get to it right away. He called a few times to check in, but wasn't overbearing at all. When they came for the job, they were punctual, professional and did fantastic work. I paid exactly what he quoted, which is always nice! Would absolutely recommend him!

They showed up at the exact time expected. They went to work right away. I went to work but my neighbor watched and said they were quite impressive to watch. They got the drive prepped for paving on the first day. They paved on the second and were done paving around 11 AM. As I was at work, the foreman(? whose last name was Stone) of the crew came back and collected the payment after 5 pm. I now also have no water in my garage!!!! I am exceedingly happy with the service I got from The Stone Brothers.

We have a short driveway that goes down from the street to a garage under the house. Stone Brothers tore out the existing driveway and replaced it with a beautiful new asphalt one. They properly sloped the end of the driveway by the garage so that water runs away from the garage into the drain. One of our worries was that a replacement driveway would be incorrectly done so that we'd end up with pools of water in the garage, but we've had no water in the garage in the six months since the driveway was completed. They were pleasant and easy to work with. On top of that, Stone Brothers' price was $300 less than our other quote.

I have used Stone Bros. on multiple occasions for both Asphalt topping, paving extension, and now sealcoat. Every experience has been excellent. They do quality work, at economical pricing, that is performed as scheduled.

Everything was fine from fitrst contact for an estimate to scheduling, and occasionally rescheduling, through completion and billing.

They did a fantastic job and they were very responsive. They were reasonably priced.

They are the only people I use and I have been using them for years. The last time I used them was to replace the asphalt and that was a bit expensive. They do work for my business, which is a restaurant and for our house as well. They charge me $4000 for the work at my restaurant and $800 for the work they did at home, but it all depends on the size of the driveway. They are nice people, they do the best quality work, they are professional, and their prices are fair. I recommend and rate them highly. I will continue to use them in the future.

Stone Brothers Inc. did a lot of repaving work for us. They did asphalt repair work and laid new asphalt, and they are wonderful. They were great very fast in giving us a bid. They were accurate when they could start and how long they would take. They exceeded our expectations I was very happy with them. I would highly recommend them.

I think they have very good customer service. They are competitively priced. They really do a good job. They worked very hard with me to schedule a time when they could come in and do my driveway. They were busy and I was busy and it was really hard to find the time. He would call me whenever he had an opening. He worked with me until we finally found a date when they could come in and do it. I have used them multiple times. Their price was probably an average. They are friendly and professional. I had no problems with them at all.

Total professionals from estimate through to completing the work. Gladly provided references of work completed in the area, including a range of dates so we could see how the driveways held up over time. When accepting the bid, we agreed on a timeframe to complete the work and established a target start date. Work started exactly on time, and finished early the next day. No surprises. Everything was cleaned up and put in order both at the end of the first day as well as upon completion. The driveway looks great. Can't say enough good about Mitch Stone and the Stone Bros crew. Outstanding.

The day that I called Stone Brothers for a proposal Mitch the owner came to my house. I'm very happy with the job that they done.
