Steamex-Eastern Custom Carpet Care

I had a couple bad experiences after using other providers. I have used Steam-Ex a few times and after my experiences with the other providers, I will not use anyone else. They have always done a great job. However, this last time I felt they went way beyond my expectations. I had a stain that I am not sure where it came from, (although definitely from my four year old). I forgot to mention the stain to the provider, even though they go out of their way to ask about any special areas, stains, or concerns during a walk-through before the service. After the work was complete I realized I forgot to mention it and when I checked, it was partially still there. I was kicking myself for not mentioning it, but I figured that it probably would not come out. One, because we had already tried to remove it will store bought cleaner and two, the cleaner (Jeff) already hit the spot when he did the whole thing. I honestly can't remember, but he probably pointed out the spot and that it was not completely removed. They always do this. (BTW - Most of the other spots are from the other previously mentioned "bad experience" providers.) I was a space cadet that day. There were other spots my wife told me to point out that I forgot. However when we later checked they were gone. When she asked me about that spot, I forgot too. Anyways.... When they called to follow-up to see how the service went. I said it was fine. So the execptional service part comes in now. I had a VERY SLIGHT hesitation in my response because I was daydreaming about my forgotten mentions to the cleaner. Steamex sensed the hesitation and asked what it was about and I said "oh nothing". At their insistence, I went on to tell them what happened. They wanted to come out and "MAKE IT RIGHT" for FREE. Which they did! Now I can see a company doing this at my insistence (if I am lucky), but the other way around... Good Luck finding another service provided to do this. SteamEx did.

The gentleman from Steamex showed up on time and made sure he knew exactly what areas in the home needed to be cleaned. He also was upfront that the sofa should not be steam cleaned, given its material, since steam cleaning could damage it; we appreciated his thoughtfulness. He was patient, meticulous, and determined to remove any spots or stains on the carpet. When he was done, the carpet looked as if it had just been installed - pristine and beautiful. My mother was absolutely thrilled with the work and the professionalism with which it was done.

They got out spots on the stairs that we had been trying to clean with no success. When they finished, the spots were gone.

He was on time and spent hours cleaning the carpet. The carpet was being cleaned after potty traing a puppy...so it was bad. It took hours to get the smell out but he took the time to get it right

A stain and odor needed to be removed from the family room floor. We called Steamex. We have used them twice previously. They came right out and took care of the situation. They have also fielded a couple question over the phone so I could tackle other problems on my own. Great job and reliable!

Jeff cleaned all the spots on the rug very well. We don't mind waiting for the carpet to dry by the next day.

The Steamex-Eastern people were great. The woman who schedules appointments was pleasant and helpful, and Aaron, the technician who came to my house, was wonderful, too. He did a great job and gave me some tips about my wool carpet, including the fact that steam may not be the best treatment for all-wool carpet. I ultimately decided not to have the entire house steam cleaned, and Aaron charged me the minimum price for the work he had done. The carpet that he treated and cleaned turned out very well and looked much better after the cleaning. Aaron was professional, knowledgeable, and diplomatic. I recommend this company to people looking for a professional, honest company.

The carpet was clean, cleaner than it had ever been.

I have used cleaners that were reported to be the best in the area. They were very expensive and didn't come close to the quality work that Steamex did for me. My carpets are the cleanest they have been in years. They added a protective coating, so it will be interesting to see how well they will stay clean. But for the past 2 weeks, they are beautiful!! I am very satisfied and I will definitely use them again.

They have always been really good for me. I would give them A's all the way. They get out stains that I could never get out and they are so nice. They give good advice on how to spot clean stuff on my own.

Called them when the first company I contacted sent me an email quoting their minimum charge, but didn't answer my questions about an appointment. These folks called when they got my email and were very nice on the phone. It also helped that they were familiar with the area I live in. Gave a time frame of 10-12 and arrived by 10:30 which was helpful since I had to take time from work to wait for them. Finished quickly and the carpet looked great when they were finished.

They were responsive. Their pricing was reasonable. I did liked them. I would had used them but they couldn't set a schedule for me. I would use their services in the future.

Pricing was clearly explained on the phone and was more flexible than my previous service. Cleaning was scheduled about 4 days after call. Service person called before arriving and did not need to use any water from my house as the previous service did. Work was done quickly and thoroughly. They did not try to sell me a bunch of other services or added treatments as my previous service always did. They also did not have me sign a bunch of disclaimers and leave wet floor warnings all over my house. They got out stains the previous service could not remove. The carpets were only damp after treatment and dried quickly. I am very pleased with the result, fast, efficient and about what I expected to pay. I will call them again. They do not take charges, only cash or check.

Everything from making the appointment to the completion of the work was great. I was considering replacing the carpet because it looked so bad but now I almost have new carpet again. Justin did a wonderful job cleaning the carpets & getting all the cat hair that had worked its way down into the carpet. I will definitely use them again & would recommend them to anyone needing their carpets cleaned

The company responded to my email inquiry very quickly and they were able to accomodate my schedule. The technician arrived at the scheduled time and did a great job. He gave me recommendations to deal with pet stains. The house smelled clean, but not perfumey, which was nice. I would recommend them.

This is the third time that we have had Jeff clean our carpets. He is always friendly, professional and does an excellent job. His prices are very fair and the house always looks fantastic when he finishes. I would highly recommend him.

The company called before coming out on the day scheduled. In both instances the individual doing the work arrived a little early and without wasting any time went right to work. Starting in the area farthest from the front door and finishing at the front door, they worked diligently for about four hours. No nonsense, just steady quality work.

Jeff arrived within the 2 hour window that the company provided. They were unable to give me an estimate over the phone because of the unusual floor plan of our house. Jeff walked around took some measurements and gave us a price within a few minutes. He cleaned all of the carpets and moved all of the furniture except for the china cabinet, buffet, and TV. The work took just under 2 hours and the carpet looks better than we expected. It had been several years since the carpets were cleaned, but every stain came out and the carpets look wonderful. What I really like about this company is that they DON'T try to sell you additional services. Steamex is my carpet cleaner from now on!

They don't try to charge me more than what they quoted. The gentleman who came out was dressed very professionally. He did a good job on my carpets.

They were very, very good. I found them on Angie's List and they had an A rating. The carpets got clean. They were in the same price range as most of them were.

Great job! The carpet was very soiled in some places--really old, ground in spots where we walk all the time--and I didn't honestly expect that it would come clean. But it looks just wonderful! He paid special attention to all the spots I was concerned about and I couldn't be happier with the results. I will definitely use Steamex again.

Immediate estimate, service scheduled one week out. Called ahead to make sure it was okay to arrive early - prompt, efficient, careful with the furniture, courteous, and final price ended up being $100 below estimate! Wow! We're so impressed! Great job!

The downstairs den/storage area is an after-thought in so many ways. It's the last room to get cleaned, organized, etc. Our cat boxes live in an adjacent tiled area, and the cats like to hide out in the den. The carpet was a mess. I had been spot-cleaning for the five years we've lived here, and it was time to do something else. I had low expectations, but I am dazzled by what I see right now. It looks amazing. The tech, Jeff, was very friendly and completed the job in record time.
