Great experience from beginning to end. I called to get an estimate and that was handled professionally and in a very friendly manner. There was also substantial flexibility in scheduling the work. I received both email and phone call reminders of the appointment. I received a phone call about 30 minutes prior to the technicians arriving to say they were on their way. Both technicians introduced themselves and were very polite. The carpet cleaning and treatment was very straightforward and the job was very well done. The grout (which originally was a very light beige color) could not be restored to its original color by cleaning alone. I had suspected this might be a problem as I had tried cleaning it myself with marginal results. The grout had never been sealed, and the soiling had penetrated into the grout. The technician explained to me that they could apply a colored sealer that would match the original grout color. This, of course, was an extra charge from the original estimate, but after a demonstration on a small area of grout and some discussion on the price, we agreed to have the sealer applied. Since this was an added step, the manager even came out to help out. The grout now looks like new! As the job was being finished, I received a phone call to check if we were satisfied with the work.

We are very pleased with the results. Our request for an estimate was handled promptly and professionally by the guy who is in charge of the floor cleaning division. We were able to schedule a convenient time and the serviceman was prompt and the man in charge showed up to help him move furniture and check on things. All questions were answered. The floor looks great. The only difficulty was that this division doesn't process credit cards on site, unlike the carpet cleaning division. He took our information and we were told they would mail us a receipt.

They were great. They were prompt and did a thorough job. In some areas they had to go over twice. They made sure all the dirt was removed and the floors were cleaned. The concrete looks pristine.

They did an excellent job. Stanley Steemer was able to get stains out of a couch that previous companies couldn’t. They were very professional and courteous.

The arrival timeframe quoted by the company was between 11am and 2pm and they arrived at 1pm, having called 20 minutes prior to let me know they were on their way. The two-man team members were nice and polite. The team leader initially stated that some of the grout may be permanently stained, but he has an additional option if that turns out to be the case. The additional option was sealing the grout with a colored sealant which would be an addtional $1.50 per square foot. Upon completion, the grout cleaning result didn't "wow!" me, but was certainly cleaner than before. The team leader sampled several different colored-grout options on the grout, but none of the colors looked that great to me, so I requested we stick with the clear sealant. He suggested a color could be customized to suit me, so I made a note for future reference. The leader stated they would take out their equipment and get the paperwork ready, but I mentioned that it looked like their machine was not able to get very close to the edge of the room and he stated that they would be doing that by hand. I am not so sure this would have been done if I had not pointed it out - they were wrapping the visit up. The tile was cleaner than when they started the job, however, before they left, the floor looked dull, they left visible boot prints all over it, and there was some debris left behind. I will be cleaning the floor tomorrow. The online instructions were to not step on the sealed grout for 30 minutes, which I confirmed with the team leader - while he was standing on it - hmmm. When I inquired about the life of the sealer, he explained that it lasts about 12 to 18 months, then proceeded to tell me that some of the sealer will flake up and off every time the floor is cleaned - so I have to question the effectiveness and added value of the sealer. Since "maybe" was not an option, I checked "yes" that I would use this company again, but I am not completely sure. Even though the other categories are high, quality is very important to me, even if I have to pay more.

It went well. But, they could be more detailed in their spot cleaning.

They do a good job. They are more expensive, but they do high-quality work.

Stanley Steemer is the best. They have always done an excellent job. They always clean up. Years ago I was single and I had a flood in my basement and they did a fantastic job. I have used other companies and they are never as professional nor do they do as good of a job. I have only had one occasion when Stanley Steemer did not put the furniture back where I wanted it. I give them straight A’s for their service.

They were professional, responsive and punctual. Their pricing was not the cheapest but the quality of their work was very good.

I have used them several times and the carpets are always clean. They are always prompt, friendly and nice, and they introduce themselves. They move furniture for me too. Their prices are good.

Great, no issues at all with the work. However, after one cleaning on the carpets, when they moved the furniture about the cherry stain bled on to the carpet. All I had to do was call them back out and they cleaned the area again, no charge.

They were very timely. Sometimes they have to come back and redo an area but I think that is probably the carpet. They are very professional. The have a guarantee that if you are not satisfied within a certain time period they will come back.

I called around noon and Stanley Steemer scheduled me for that afternoon (at my request) between 1-5:00. When they had not arrived yet at 4:40, I called the office and was told they were on the way. They were supposed to call when they were on the way - instead they showed up about 5 minutes after I called the office... not a big deal, but odd. I wanted just the family room cleaned, but because of a minimum purchase, I also scheduled the dining room. The two men were very polite, answered all my questions, worked efficiently together and left things clean, orderly and protected with foam blocks or plastic papers. When my grandson arrived later that week, I was confident he was crawling around on a clean rug!

As far as the cleaning job went it was well done (with the exception of one stain). After the men arrived to do the job they talked my husband into "protection" for the carpeting for an additional $100 - $140, which he agreed to. As our home is vacant and no furniture needed to be moved my husband left the men to do their work and returned to his job. However, when I checked my bank statement a few days later I discovered I had been charged over $285 more than the original quote. I proceeded to call the company and received some lip service from the receptionist who transferred me to the office managers voice mail. My call was not returned until 5 hours later. Jackie the office manager was extremely arrogant, defensive and rude to say the least. I was told that I was in error immediately, she would need to listen to my recorded call and get back to me. At the time I asked to have an itemized receipt faxed to me so I could understand what they did that I had not originally stated in my phone call. I was told by Jackie the receipt was left with my husband. I still asked to have one faxed and still have yet to see one. To make a long story short after getting back to me, we basically agreed to disagree. However, Jackie's attitude did change after she realized we were members of Angie's List. My advice to anyone considering this company is to have them come to your home to give you an estimate in writing before you agree to the work. It is extremely difficult to give a subjective description of your home over the phone and have them later make an objective determination of the price after the work is completed. Tonight before I submitted this report I went to the Stanley Steemer website and did my own estimate; it was the same as my original quote without the protection added. Interesting, hmmmm.

I can call them at any time to clean the carpets. They will come out the same day or the next day. They are very professional and do an outstanding job. The technicians are always nice, polite, and courteous. They move any piece of furniture I ask them to and put down plastic to help the areas under the feet or legs from staying wet. They use safe chemicals that are safe for my children and pets. I never had a spot that they couldn't remove, considering I have light colored carpet. I have used them for about ten years and have always had great service.

I tried calling 2 carpet cleaning companies and they were booked and couldn't set up an appointment prior to Thanksgiving. With Stanley Steemer I set up appointment online very easily. Sean and Dale were our technicians. We received a call telling us they were coming. They were very polite and did a fine job moving furniture and cleaning very thoroughly. I can't say enough about their professionalism and work ethic. I would definitely recommend them.

I thought that they were excellent. They got all the stains out, and the carpet looks like new. They taught me a lot about carpet care. I was so happy with them that I signed a contract to have them back three more times. I couldn't speak anymore highly about them.

I thought that they did a really good job. I would give them an 8 on a scale of 1 through 10. They were very professional. They also seemed knowledgeable. They were very pleasant to work with.

They offered an in house cleaning that would just clean on side of the rug. They were by far the least expensive estimate that we received, but I didn't use them because I wanted someone who would clean the rugs on both sides since there had been some dog accidents and the carpets hadn't been cleaned in several years. I would use Stanley Steamer for an in between cleaning on those years when I didn't get the deep both side cleanings done.

The guys came in, we discussed what to move and not move. I went about my business in my office and they were gone in about an hour. The carpet looks great. It was completely dry within 2 hours. The two workers were very friendly and efficient. They were good to advise about deodorizer and soil repellent.

They were very professional and very good. Any questions I had they answered. They also explained how to care for the carpet afterwards.

We picked this company because I am very pregnant and can't help my husband move furniture. I was very pleased with their services and am glad to report they were very punctual and did what was requested. They didn't try to up sell like the other posts suggested. Also, their on line scheduling and advance pricing was easy and accurate.

This company provides good service at a reasonable price, I mean they are excellent. They do a good job in cleaning our carpets, if it's not done right they come back.

The work went very quickly and thoroughly. The carpets were cleaned and then the second person put a protective coating on all the carpets. One of the workers explained each part of the process which was nice. They also put papers and blocks under all the furniture to protect it. I felt they did a good job.

It went very very well. The two men were polite. When my wife came home from work, even she noticed the carpets were cleaner than they've been in awhile.
