DO NOT HIRE! Terrible. Regret. Anger. These are the best 3 words to describe Stanley Steemer. I just finished remodeling my entire home. Kitchen included. PLEASE NOTE: I do not, and no one lives in this house yet. We are not renting it out nor do we plan to. We were just about to move in once I finished all the remodeling. Also, I did not hire any third-party contractors, I did all the work myself. I decided, since I just finished major remodeling, it would be a good idea to have my air ducts cleaned, as we would soon be moving in with a newborn. I thought I was hiring the best and most professional company. Unfortunately, I wish I could rewind the clock and never have called Stanley Steemers. To finish the remodel I purchased all new appliances for my kitchen. I had just put them into place and removed the plastic protective covers prior to calling Stanley. I haven't even plugged them in yet! Again, no one lives in the home, and I just finished remodeling. This was the last step to being able to move in with my family. I called Stanley to finally finish my remodel and start moving in. Their technicians came on September 17 2021 to clean my air ducts. They wrapped up and headed out. I then walked around to check the air ducts and the job they did. That's when I noticed a large dent on the front of my refrigerator. My brand new refrigerator! That I just put into place and haven't even plugged in or taken the plastic from inside out yet! They lost control of their whip hose and the connection of their whip hose and air hose wacked into the front of my refrigerator. Which they state IS possible but their technicians are ‘adamant’ this didn’t happen. From where the impact happened there is a scratch that goes from the dent straight to the air duct next to the fridge. Like an arrow! After I noticed this I continued to check my home. And to top it off they didn't even finish cleaning all my air ducts. (The same ‘trustworthy’ techs that claim the damage didn’t happen) They forgot one. So $450 for a dented scratched BRAND NEW fridge and a job not complete. I was upset, to say the least. I am just now writing this complaint because I have been trying to work it out with Stanley. I first called them immediately after their technicians left. They filed the complaint, and then I was contacted by someone else. I submitted the photos of the damage and told them what happen. They told me their technicians denied the damage. Of course, they would! They didn't even finish the job they were hired to do, why would they be honest about that! I was not happy with their answer and requested their manager, who came to inspect the home and the damage. I presented all the evidence to them and they took it back to submit to their higher-ups. I was just now contacted by someone else at Stanley, on October 4, 2021, not a manager or anyone of importance, just a messenger to inform me that they do not believe they caused the damage and are denying it. They stated they do not use any equipment that could cause a dent like that. (but remember, they said it was POSSIBLE for the tech to lose control of their equipment and cause the damage, just unlikely) When I asked about the metal connection between their whip hose and air compressor hose I was pretty much ignored. I don't think they expected me to bring that up. More dishonesty! I was offered ‘$100’ to essentially buy my silence. I refused to be bought. To top it off, one of their managers in the midst of this month-long back and forth told me to call their Complaint Hotline…. Thanks.

Horrible - According to the corporate website video's they claim they use a different process of cleaning air ducks - Where other companies bring in a vacuum cleaner into your home to suck the dust in the vents into a vacuum cleaner which makes a mess Stanley Steemer claims that their vacuum cleaner is built into their trucks for better suction, less mess and they take the take away the 40 lbs of dirt & dust - Just watch their video for yourself on their website - When they showed up to do the work they pulled out a vacuum cleaner to bring into the house - When we questioned about the video we watched their employees knew what we were talking about - They just said we do not have those trucks in Cincinnati, Ohio - But we waited for over two weeks for this appointment so that we could have that exact truck - The people at the corporate office who you made the appointment with would not have known what cities have those trucks and what cities don't have those trucks - So at the end of the day Stanley Steemer is selling a service in Cincinnati, Ohio that they can not do according to their video on their website - They are no better than the other companies but are charging more - Crazy

They did really good. They are a good company. It was $100 for 2 rooms, they run specials like that all the time.

There were two workers who came out to do the carpet cleaning, and they didn't leave a mess when they were done. It took an hour.

The price was good. Everything they did for us for this particular job, they get an "A". It was great. They gave me a response within 24 hours and they contacted me back and let me know they moved my appointment up. They showed up on time.

They were okay, but I think I would have liked for them to have done better. I would use them again, only in a pinch.

They didn't do a great job. I have used them at my house in the past, and that was just afterwards. My sister was suppose to call but they did not call back. It was not rinsed. The carpet had too much soap in it and it was not soft. It got foamy when you put any water on it. The tech was just new but she didn't call back so I blame that on us. I am going to call them this week. The responsiveness was fine. They came right away. At this moment I am less likely right now to use them again.

They are great for carpet cleaning.

They did a good job. I was happy with the price, it was very fair. They did the work in a timely manner.

Great. Everything is spotless. I love how their system gets the water back out of the carpets so they dry overnight. First time for tile and grout cleaning. Very professional and knowledgeable. I also tried the grout color seal. It looks awesome.

He was respectful of my home and did a great job cleaning the carpets.

When they say they will be there at a certain time, they are here. Every time we have used them, we did not have to wait.

We use Stanley Steemer for carpet cleaning.

They really botched up our tile. They messed up our tile terribly. We had no luck with them. I had to call the company and for about four or five days, it was just a mess. They sent out technicians that didn't know what they were doing. They recolored the tile and they ended up not getting it cleaned off and the color dried all over our tile. They just totally messed up our kitchen floor. We will never use them. My husband and I, we're such easy-going people. We've never had anything botched up so badly as what Stanley Steemer did. It was terrible. It was just terrible. I ended up having to talk to the vice president of the company and he was very nice. He sent out two technicians to try to repair it, but the damage had already been done. They could have trained their technicians on how to clean tiles. They just sent two rookies out here who had no idea what they were doing. So they just needed to train their technicians. They didn't have the right tools. They needed to have the right tools. They needed a buffer. They didn't have a buffer on their truck. It was just a disaster. On top of all this, my husband was coming out of a stroke. I just had my hands full.

They were scheduled to come on 4/28 however I got a call that they were running late on 4/27/16. They informed me that they would not be able to come out on 4/28 and they will have to reschedule. I rescheduled for 5/4 and they were suppose to get out to my home in the morning and did not show up until 2:15 pm. I asked them to try to get out to my home as early as they could and I was told that the window of time would be between 8am-12 pm .Before they showed up I called and asked where was the workers and they informed me that we may not have a truck with a hard wood floor cleaning on the road. They finally came out and then informed me that if I did not know exactly was used on the floor They asked me repeatedly what type of solution was used on the floor and I explained to them what was used and that's when I was told that I would be responsible if the floor got ruined by their materials. I believe that the company should have had a better knowledge of what to use on the floor.

My living room carpet is now ruined. The next day after cleaning by Stanley Steamer, two bleach marks appeared on my living room carpet. Prior to this my living room carpet was in excellent condition. It is now ruined. I have cleaned this carpet myself in the past and I have had other companies clean it and this never happened before. Customer service is very poor. I had to call repeatedly and was offered no compensation at all. They did not even refund my money after ruining my carpet. Buyer beware!

It was very professionally done and there were no problems with it. They are prompt and professional. They got everything done and it ended up looking nice. I thought the cost was reasonable.

I think the price was only $99 and the quality of work was good.

They do very well. They do good work. Ask for the "Senior Team" if you want the best service.

the carpet is very clean and looks much better. All staff were courteous, friendly and professional. However, their customer service set it up on the wrong day. My wife was standing right next to me and we definitely agreed on tomorrow. However, she set it up for three days away. Also, the cleaners forgot to put the styrofoam blocks under the furniture in one of the rooms, so we had bare wood furniture on wet carpet in that room. Luckily, I caught them as they were pulling out of the driveway. I'd use them again, just be very careful and quality check everything they do.

They're very good. They're always on time, they're very thorough and they usually work with you like far as they say, "Do you want to add another room? We can add this much on the price", they'll negotiate.

This is the second time I have used Stanley Steemer, and I can not say enough about their service. They are very professional and certainly do the best job of any carpet cleaner I have ever used in Cincinnati.

The service from Stanley Steemer was top-notch. I was just all-around pleased with them. I am getting ready to call them again! They are very responsive. If you need them to come, they come right away. Their workers are always very responsive and try to get in and out as fast as possible while doing a good job. I even got a nice description of everything they did like where they tried to get stains and spots out and stuff.

Very well. I have used before. Sewage spill.Did for a fiend, all by phone. Scheduler very helpful.Everyone was so helpful.
