Scherzinger Pest Control

This is my first really bad experience with Scherzinger. I have been with them over 15 years, but I'm now taking bids from other companies.

My wife and I had seen a few insects around the basement and house that were very unusual for us, so I scheduled an inspection to ensure that we didn't have a problem starting. The representative from Scherzingerwas punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable. He inspected the house and even helped me dig through the basement garbage to find a dead insect to aid in the identification process. He concluded that the insects we'd seen were common for our area and could be controlled in other ways. He assured us that they were not the start of a more serious problem. He offered suggestions to prevent the pests from entering the home and offered to schedule a service to put my mind at ease if I wanted. His apparent knowledge about the insects and his assurances really helped us understand and feel at ease. We opted to hold off on any type of treatment. They didn't even charge for the inspection. I will definitely call Scherzinger if I experience any sort of pest problem due to the excellent service and attention I received from this representative during this inspection.

I started hearing scratching noises in the wall of my house late at night. Unsure of exactly what the animal was, I called Sherzinger due to good ratings on Angie's List. The woman I spoke with on the phone initially recommended I speak with another contractor due to the uncertainty of the animal. Apparently, other than insects, they only deal with mice. I appreciated the honesty and professionalism. After further investigation, I determined the source of the noise was, indeed, a mouse. I called Scherzinger back and explained the situation. The woman recommended a service contract that would include future visits. The cost of this contract is $400 ($200 initial visit cost, $100 each for next two visits). Understanding that mice can be an ongoing problem, it seemed to be a good idea, and I scheduled the first visit. A couple days later, the technician arrived on time. He asked questions and performed an inspection based on my information. The technician recommended poison in strategic locations in my attic. He also put down a couple "sticky" traps in my garage. Technician was prompt, professional, and courteous. Technician asked if I had any other pest issues, to which I replied "silver fish". He wanted to "dust" my attic but couldn't due to my house having a whole house circulation fan that could blow the dust out of the attic. To his credit, he seemed to be trying to make the visit worth my money. He recommended keeping an eye out for any other pests so he can treat them on return visits. Technician followed up with a couple of phone calls to see if the mouse treatment worked. The mouse problem seems to be resolved (haven't heard any more noises), but overall experience was only "fair" due to the steep price. $200 for the service performed (40 minutes and some poison/traps), is borderline ridiculous. Hopefully the mouse problem doesn't return and the subsequent service contract visits will justify the cost.

The company was hired by the previous owner of my home to treat a termite infestation for both the house and garage. The previous owner had ScherZinger install the Sentricon system around the perimeter, and was to be monitored on a quarterly basis with a minimum of 4 services per year according to their service agreement as of February 2012. In the past year, the ScherZinger only serviced the Sentricon system once, and left a bill in February 2013 to pay another $260 to continue service. I called several other termite companies - both national and local - and the inspectors confirmed that my home and garage still had termites. The Sentricon system that ScherZinger installed had failed in addition to not being maintenanced properly. I had to pay $1000 for another company to treat my house and garage with a liquid treatment to get rid of the termite infestation.

They come several times a year. Originally, I think we chose them because they are very thorough and they have great customer service. They are excellent. I wish the price were lower; it seems kind of high. I have a continuing service with them.

They are very prompt. They always give me a report on their findings, even when i'm not home. We've had no more problems with the termites. Whatever they're doing is working!

I've been happy with Scherzinger Pest Control. I really like the guy who comes and sprays the house, he's really good. He's a personable guy and does a good job, he answers my questions. I had him come in on a couple of little emergency issues in the beginning where we were starting to spray. He and Scherzinger worked with me pretty well.

I really like the guy that came out and helped us. He gave me some advice to help me save money.

We have Scherzinger come to our house quarterly to spray for pests (particularly ants.) They do a thorough job of spraying. One time we saw a couple of ants in between our quarterly sprays, and they came out at no charge to spray the inside and outside of the house again. They are also very responsive when calling their customer service line. I would definitely recommend them as a pest control provider.

Their technicians were very knowledge and willing to take the time to explain what they could do and what they could not. They were very polite, and they showed up when they said they would. I was on their quarterly plan.

They do an excellent job around. We had worked with them before and we do not have any problems with them. They know the area and they were really good. It they came in between, there was no charge. I would highly recommend them.

They were reliable and did what they said they were going to do. They have a good reputation.

I found dust in my kithcen and I cleaned it up. A week later it was back again and I noticed the door frame was being ate up by bugs. I never saw the bugs, but I saw the dust. The main infestation was in my kitchen, and they sprayed all over, even for spiders. They wrote me a 45 day guarentee that he would come back if I saw more of the dust. The bugs are gone as far as I know though. I also thought they were very professional and prompt.

They are the cheapest that we were able to get. The owner is a client of ours, so he also takes special care of us. They are just very polite when they come in. They actually sit and talk and find out where any problems have been and check out all the problem areas.

Scherzinger is a local company that has been around for a long time. Their reputation is good. They are better in looking for areas where termites and ants can get in. They always send someone out if I encounter any problems. They send a different technician for every visit. It is inconvenient for us since they have to look for the stations that the previous technicians installed.

The gentlemen who came over to the do the work were very polite and prompt. They did a good job and I was very pleased with service!

They did a good job. They came out and told us what they would do, and they did what they said. We never got termites. I give them A's across the board.

I have used Scherzinger's Pest Control for 10 years. They do great work.

We moved into a home that had been vacant for probably a year and it had a pretty big carpenter bee problem. We had Scherzinger's Pest Control come out and take care of the bees. They did what they promised and we were happy with the service.

.The service is working. We used to have these millipedes in the house and we no longer have them. They pretty much come on their own schedule. We will keep using them.

I am pleased with their work and I will continue to use them.

They are reliable. They come over on their own routinely and they are prompt.
