They actually started the job a week or two earlier than I anticipated, which was very nice. They came out that first morning on time with the crew of four and were very careful about tracking any dirt into the house. They were very efficient in their work and very friendly. After they finished they cleaned up very nicely. After the windows were installed they made sure to clean both the inside and outside glass of the windows as well. The job took 2 1/2 days. Their price was approximately $7000 lower than two of the major national window replacement companies. The quality of their windows, I had triple pane windows installed, are the equal of these companies. At this point in time, I am very satisfied and pleased with RWT and the windows.

RWT was great. very professional. Did a great job. Only issue was they were booked up for about 10 weeks although they did end up fitting me in after about 7-8, so that was nice.

When I met with Ric he explained what they would do, when they could do it and how much it would cost. He also helped choose a configuration that I ended up LOVING, but wouldn't have thought of on my own. They showed up when they said they would and did exactly what we had agreed on. It was smooth as anything. I would definitely recommend them.

From the first moment we met, Ric was a true professional. He answered all of our questions, priced out many options and made sure we were completely comfortable before signing a contract. It was easy to schedule the work. He and his crew were always on time, neat and friendly. This was a huge investment for us, and I can't imagine a better outcome.

I did not end up buying from RWT because I was already under contract with another company and that company matched RWTs pricing. I got a good feeling from the company and they will be the first ones I call in the future.

We were very happy with the level of service from the time of estimate through the job completion. They did a fantastic job, worked quickly and cleaned up every day after the work day. They went above and beyond and put our blinds back up on all of the windows. We cannot recommend them more!

The whole experience from start to finish was great. A small piece of stripping was damaged during install and they came back the same day to replace it. The gentleman who did the install was friendly and knowledgeable. Ric and his people were great. I felt totally comfortable with anyone he had in my home. They were always helpful and went above and beyond. Plus, when it came to decision making on the type of window, color, etc., it seemed like he and his team had our best interests at heart. I did end up going with the dual color option (one color inside to match my indoor trim and the other color outside that I got to select the color on). Looking at Angie's list we decided to contact RWT. They responded immediately and came over. The price quoted was very reasonable. He asked us questions and provided the most valuable effective replacement windows. It was still very cold, in the 30s when they came over to do the work. There was some delay in completing this on time, due to snow. But overall, the best bang for our buck. Will definitely go with them again. The company is very honest and very good value.

The two installers were quick, professional and neat. I'm going to definitely use RWT to replace the rest of the windows in my house. What seems like a high price for two windows...really isn't....they are oversized and had to be special ordered. I highly recommend RWT!

Firstly, I have to stress that Ric Thress is a businessman's businessman. He is phenomenal and will work with and guide you through the entire process. We had four separate companies come evaluate our front foyer window at our house. Without providing full details, this window had been a nightmare from the time my wife and I bought our house in May of 2012 and despite several thousands dollars in "fixes," it was still leaking during the heavy rains we had in the Spring of 2013. Out of the four companies, Ric was the only owner who showed up rather than a sales representative. He got up on a ladder and inspected our window from the inside and provided great insight into the fixes necessary. His quote was not just the lowest, it was the lowest by a few thousand dollars. In fact, Ric noted that he made a slight error in calculating our cost on the contract, but was willing to honor that price moving forward with our project. The day of the work went smoothly and very well. Two workers for Ric came out and removed the old windows and replaced them with a very quality product. They cleaned up after themselves and were very professional the entire time they were here. All along the way I was corresponding with Ric via email with questions embodied with my relative ignorance on the subject matter. As previously stated, my wife and I were very slighted/sensitive to this window topic and Ric and his company did a great job putting the final fixes on the biggest scar in our first-home purchase. Since having this work completed, we have contacted Ric again and he will be doing more work on our home in the near future (e.g., replacing the front and back doors; installing safety glass in our basement; replacing specialized windows in our master bathroom) and we plan on having him replace all the windows in the back of the house later this year. Again, his pricing has been very acceptable and his communication has been superb. While they have been incredibly busy with this past Winter season, Ric does a GREAT job of making you feel like his most important customer. We have recommended Ric to several people in our neighborhood and they have all spoken highly of RWT. I cannot stress enough not to overlook this company when needing work done on your home. Additionally, I will stress that Ric worked around the schedule my wife and I both have which is not an easy thing to do. We both work between 60 and 70 hours weekly which can make some of these home improvement projects (and even emergencies) incredibly difficult on us as well as the companies working with us. Ric made this process smoother than any company we have dealt with in any other fashion. You will not regret contacting RWT Window Company for their services -- don't even give it a second thought! Our experience with RWT Window Co was spectacular from beginning to end...Rick met with us personally up front to go over all of our options, including directing us to a website where we could visualize different options before deciding. They were able to complete the installation while we were out of town and when we returned, the house was cleaner than we'd left it. The work was professionally done, the cost was very reasonable and we are, simply put, delighted with our new windows, front door, and our entire experience with RWT Windows. The work went well. The team arrived and completed putting in the new glass on a day when the weather was very cold. When I came home from work you would never have know they had been there. The window shades were replaced and everything was back in place. This is the second time I have used RWT and both times their workmanship was terrific.

Ric was great - he came out quickly after I called to provide me with a quote of the services I was interested in and we eventually scheduled the install of the sliding door. After some weather related delays, his guys came and performed the installation without issue. They were very friendly and professional while on site and the finished product looks great.

This is a great local, family owned business. After reading all RWT's wonderful reviews, I felt very comfortable having them replace the windows in our home. They were extremely professional and completed the job quickly. You wouldn't have even known they had been there except for our beautiful new windows! I should start by saying that I had the BIG name in Cincinnati windows replace 9 windows on the rear side of the house 3 years ago, with the intent of having the other 7 done the following year. The installation of those 9 windows was such a bad experience that it took 3+ years to muster up the nerve to proceed with the other 7. All that said, I called RWT and 3 other contractors. One did not return my calls. One was polite and professional, but his price was nearly twice that of RWT. The 3rd was knowledgable, polite, and professional, but had a little less experience than Mr. Thress, or I would probably have used him. Mr. Thress was polite and punctual in coming to our home for the initial meeting. He is professional, and knowledgeable about his business which, surprisingly, is apparently not always the case in the window business. He discussed the products he sells and installs in sufficient detail and answered my questions thoroughly with regard to both product as well as installation techniques. When the work was performed, the crew was as personable and professional as Mr. Thress. They used plenty of protective covering for the floors where they worked and entered/exited the house. Shoe covers were part of their standard equipment. The procedure they used to remove the original window frames and nailing flanges was a light touch. They had already removed several before I was even aware they had started. My prior experience was that of power saws and sledge hammers rattling the entire house.Most notably, they all worked together, each performing certain tasks that kept the job moving forward all the time. A real team operation. Last but not least, I must mention Mrs. Thress who answers the phone and generally handles the back of the business. I am sure that much of the succes they achieve is due to her talents and abilities. My only regret is that I did not hear of RWT the first time I decided to have windows replaced. I strongly urge any member contemplating window replacement to consider them. A very class act.

RWT exceeded every expectation. Ric was very thorough in explaining the work included in the bid. The bid was competitive. We needed the work done earlier than normal scheduling. Ric was able to accommodate our timeframe and did exactly what he said he would do. The work was done in a single day. The attention to detail was excellent, the installers cleaned up everything nicely, and we are very happy with the windows. I would definitely use RWT again.
