RWT Windows Plus

I previously had all windows in my home replaced by NuVue and was extremely disappointed in the quality of work. I found RWT Windows on Nextdoor and could not be happier! First and foremost, Rick at RWT does not use subcontractors. A window is only as good as the installer, so NEVER use a company that utilizes subcontractors. RWT did a great job at insulating and cleaned up and were very professional. I would highly recommend RWT.

The whole experience with RWT Windows was positive. The owner was knowledgable and gave good suggestions with regards to the windows. The windows arrived sooner then had been promised. The Installers were fast and clean. The price of the windows was extremely competitive. We are happy with the product and the service RWT Windows provided. We would recommend to anyone wanting a quality window installed by an experienced crew. Our cooling costs were lower this summer with the addition of the new windows. We are really pleased with the new windows.

Excellent service; kept their mess to a minimum while taking out the old and putting in the new. Matched our existing woodwork perfectly. Our house is extra quiet and absolutely love the fact they tilt in to clean. Had them in to adjust a window track and it only took 3 minutes.

We worked with Ric and Kelly to install new windows in our house and it was a pleasure! They were both super helpful and were able to answer questions and install the windows in a quick manner. I would highly recommend this company!

In 2017 you installed 5 windows & we were so pleased, we decided to replace & update more this year. Ric came to our home & provided an estimate to replace 3 double hung windows & a recommendation for 2 large outdated front picture windows. The installation team of 4 arrived on the scheduled date & time & went right into action. They worked most of the day & the outcome met & exceeded our expectations! What a professional team & what a terrific job! Once again, their process flow worked perfectly & each knew exactly what to do & when. Even when running into a challenge, they discussed a work-around plan with us, got the equipment & paint needed & completed that along with the rest. Ric and his crew are professional, friendly and very competent. The work was successfully competed on time and to our expectations. We had a small issue with our side screen door and his team was very responsive and prompt in addressing it. There is an art and science to window replacement (the science is competency and the art is the ability to manage the customer relationship with skill). Ric’s team is truly outstanding in every regard. I would highly recommend Ric and his team!

The product and workmanship were excellent. We love the new doors. They look great and work well, keeping out what should stay out and in what should stay in.

Windows were installed on time, crew very professional. Had two concerns that were addressed immediately.

Ric, the owner of RWT, came to our home, discussed our thoughts about the job, and made recommendations for replacement of four sets of glass doors. We interviewed other companies for the job, and found that RWT's price was very competitive. We chose RWT because Ric owned his own small business, had a small crew, and utilized one supervisor for each job. He told me exactly how long it would take before the crew arrived to replace the doors, and was true to his word. They arrived in a timely manner, and immediately began to work. It took two days to complete the job. We were both impressed by the crew's work ethic. We were also surprised and impressed that one of the three workers was a woman; all crew members were strong, skilled and efficient. The weather was sweltering, but members of the crew worked diligently each day until the job was done. The supervisor spoke to us following the job's completion, showing us how to work the doors and what to expect (a bit of stickiness) for a while. The workers cleaned the mess, and the workplace was cleaner when they left than when they began! Ric contacted us for feedback on the crew and the job and to answer any questions we might have. This company is competent and professional. We would definitely use them again.

Great! Everything was done promptly and well.

Very happy so far, but we can’t tell for sure if our heating bills improved. They worked hard and tried not to inconvenience us so we’re happy. It was expensive, but we have a garden window and two French doors.

It was very easy to use RWT windows. He showed up on time to measure and had the windows replaced before we moved in. I would highly recommend RWT Windows.

Everyone at RWT was great to work with. Ric was very congenial and professional. He explained his products and processes thoroughly and answered all my questions and concerns. I appreciated that he did not try and up sell me when I explained the reasons I wanted to go with double pane instead of triple pane. One of the reasons we went with RWT were positive reviews regarding the install crew. It was obvious they were experienced and they worked together like a well oiled machine. They showed up at 8:00 AM and by 2:30 PM were done. The construction debris was cleaned up, vacuumed up, and the windows sparkled. The crew were all mind full not to let our dog out the front door and were very careful around our furniture and plantings. We're very pleased with our new windows. They look great inside and out. There was one small problem with one window. The crew leader showed me a couple of fingerprints that were on the inside of the glass. They probably got there when the dividers were installed. He took the serial number of that specific window and a new one has been ordered.

I don't recall any of the particulars on it. It was high-quality work. We had an issue with a front door handle, which Richard from RWT had purchased from like a separate company. He came out and looked at it and saw it had some deterioration and contacted them immediately while he was standing there. He called them up and then ranged for the arrangement for a replacement. When the replacement came, he came and installed it himself. As soon as he saw it, he was on the phone and then made arrangements and as soon it was shipped to him he called us up, made quick arrangements to come out and install it and did so. It was real high-quality. They did window work. They replaced all the windows in the house. He also sells doors, front door back door. So, that's what they did we had them replace the front door, back door. If I have a need, I will use him again.

Our experience was absolutely EXCELLENT. Each step, from the very beginning was above expectation. Ric (the owner) came thru with the best bid & called to do the installation 6 weeks earlier than expected. The installation crew was outstanding. They called ahead of arriving, introduced themselves, & then went right to work. They were so courteous, respectful & professional. You could definitely tell this was an experienced 3-person team. They had the flow process down pat & each one knew exactly what to do. To remove the old windows, install, train us & clean up was approximately 2 hours. In addition, they took our blinds down & put them back up because we didn't know how to do it. Plus, they even fixed one of the blind adjustment rods! The windows are absolutely beautiful too. We were so pleased & will definitely use them again. We couldn't have made a better choice. They are the BEST!

Job went well. The window had to replaced with a smaller one because of the remodel of our master bathrooms.

They were excellent and very professional. I highly recommend them. The owner, Ric, could not have been nicer, as well as the installation team. As I split the job up, I had them out 2 separate times. The first time I was at work while they installed the windows. When I came home, you would never had known they had been there. They did a great job cleaning up after they were completed and the windows look great.

Very helpful, professional, and punctual. He did not charge for the visit. We would call Ric in the future for window replacement.

I would tell others that they were excellent. It took about 45 minutes to do the work. The worker was fine. It was basically a follow up.

We contacted a number of window contractors in the area, ranging from regional premium providers to national chains. The owner, Ric, sells an upgraded version of a national window for a great price. Based on all the measurable performance ratings such as wind resistance, air infiltration, solar rejection, and other insulation metrics, these windows outperform the mainstream products of most national and regional premium double-paned windows. One thing we were very keen to ask all contractors is whether they subcontract. RWT does not subcontract out the installation and has its own installers, and it shows. Their technicians were very respectful of our home, worked quickly and efficiently. Also, RWT requested a manufacturer replacement for not just one window that shipped with a crack in it but also another that had a small nick. It is apparent that they do not want to leave a job even 98% done. We definitely noticed an improvement to our room temperature (though the old windows were from 1987 that had no low-e coating). We plan on slowly replacing most of our windows over the next couple of years through RWT.
