EXCELLENT. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND THE INSTALLATION WAS EXCELLENT. THEY CLEANED UP VERY WELL. THEY RESPONDED TO ALL CALLS AND EMAILS QUICKLY, AND THE OWNER AND OFFICE STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY. THE PRICE WAS VERY COMPETITIVE, BUT I FELT THAT I GOT AN EXCELLENT DEAL BECAUSE THE INSTALLERS WERE SO GOOD.

Seal broke on two extremely large windows at the front of my home. Condensation was the result and the windows were no longer under warranty. RWT responded quickly to my request for an estimate and met my deadline for installation of 2 new custom made windows. They arrived within the hour stated for installation, removed old windows and installed new windows within 4 hours. They look great! Workers were polite, professional and even removed and then rehung my mini-blinds. They cleaned the area inside and outside my home and took all of the old window debris. Definitely recommend them.

The owner Ric came to talk about what I needed for windows. He was on time and very thorough and very honest. I was really impressed when he made other suggestions for my Windows until I own my mobil home. I highly recommend this business if you are looking pleasant honest people.

We met with Ric Thress (owner) about replacing our old wooden double doors with Provia Doors that we had seen. Ric was very professional and said he would be directly involved in the installation. The others involved in the installation would be his employees - not subs. We chose Ric over the others we talked with because of superior Angie's List recommendations and the fact that he seemed quite competent. He also happened to be the lowest bidder - Provia doors are very expensive, but excellent quality. When installation day came, Ric's crew (3 guys) showed up exactly on time and quickly protected/covered everything so nothing would be damaged. The crew got the old doors out and prepped the opening for the new doors. Ric showed up and oversaw the installation process. He made sure that everything was perfectly installed. The doors are absolutely perfect. Even though they are fiberglass, my son could not tell that they weren't wood - they look exactly like wood. The install went smoothly. The lock mechanism is a Trilennium lock mechanism (made by Schlage) that has 3 strike plates/strikes all worked by one handle. This is the first Trilennium that Ric had installed, but he personally put the lock mechanisms together and made sure they worked perfectly. I couldn't be happier with the result. Interesting that Ric didn't require any money of any kind until the job was completed to my satisfaction. We have some other window/door replacements warming up in the bullpen - I will definitely contact Ric when I'm ready for those.

It's hard to find a meticulous contractor these days. I'm a very particular person and Ric provided top notch work. He replaced an old casement window in the back of our home that was long overdue for replacement. It was a large 5 panel casement window with custom molding, and the work inside and out was flawless. I was so impressed that I had Ric back to dress the exterior of the remaining windows in the home, all of which I had replaced recently myself. He trimmed all of the windows and finished out custom window boxes in the front. All work was done on schedule and his crew was extremely tidy. Rick took 10 minutes of his time at 830am to walk me through the process of trying to diagnose the actual window problem. He was courteous, patient, and professional. He could have easily come to my home and sold me a new window. So far, the window seems ok. Everything he told me was very accurate. Needless to say, I am quite impressed.

As advertised. Add-on expenses were at my request - and very reasonable. Workmen were courteous, timely, and professional.

Rick came out and, after personally looking at the work that needed to be completed, he gave us his quote. He was very professional and offered an excellent quality product. We went with another company because they could get the work completed about 1 month ahead of RWT and the price was a little less for the same product. Otherwise we were set on RWT because of Ric's professionalism, references and up front approach.

I was impressed with Ric's professionalism. He was polite and very knowledgeable. Even though our problem was very small, he still made the drive and patiently worked with me to find multiple potential solutions. On top of that, he gave some more input regarding other windows in our house that I asked about. He asked for no payment for his work, and reassured me regarding a number of questions with our current windows. We are not in the market for windows this year, but will potentially buy some next year - and more in the future. I was very impressed with RWT, and will be calling them first when I'm ready to replace our windows.

RWT Windows (Replacement Window Technicians, Inc.) did an excellent job of replacing 31 original, builder?s-grade windows on the first and second floors of our 27-year-old home. From the original interview, all the way through installation and final walkthrough, our experience with RWT was nothing short of fantastic! Ric Thress, the Owner, was very informative and professional in explaining what would be necessary, what the crew would be doing and why, and what to expect. While some other companies? representatives seemed quite ?hard-sell,? ?high-pressure? and anxious to knock their competition, Ric was very low-key and-up-front about the windows he offered, their features and benefits, and the quality of the crew members who would be installing them. He also told us at the outset that, because of the custom-manufacturing production time necessary, along with the recent weather and a number of backed-up jobs as a result, it would take about 8 to 10 weeks to get to us, weather-permitting. RWT?s price (including the Angie?s List Discount), though not the lowest, was quite reasonable compared to some others and, unlike all the others, no money was due at signing ? the full amount was to be paid upon completion of the job. We were most impressed! Another thing that strongly influenced us in RWT?s favor was our understanding that the installation crew, though not direct/full-time employees, worked almost exclusively with RWT, and that Ric would be visiting to personally supervise them during installation. While reading members? reviews of a number of window replacement outfits, we noted many horror stories about homeowners being caught between Replacement Window Manufacturers, Sellers and Installation Sub-Contractors when problems arose during and after installation. As a result, we eliminated a number of companies who exclusively used independent installation sub-contractors from our list. We found no complaints of that sort when reading RWT?s reviews, and when we mentioned our concerns to Ric, he explained thoroughly how he and his crew worked, and told us all about his products? Manufacturer?s Warranties and RWT?s Installation Warranties. About 10 weeks later, we got a call from RWT and scheduled installation to begin the following week. The crew members, Layne, Ron and Chris, were thoroughly professional, worked quickly and accurately, answered all our questions and were very careful to lay drop-cloths, runners, etc., both inside and outside, to protect the floors, carpeting and outside plants and shrubs while they worked. They also made sure to clean up all the debris and wash all the newly-installed windows each day before they left. And we were most pleased to see Ric arrive each day a few hours later, not just to supervise but to join the crew for the better part of the day in performing the installation! While there, he noted a couple of manufacturing defects and told us he would order the necessary replacements. When we scheduled it, we were told that the installation would take 4 days to complete, weather permitting, but the crew and Ric worked so quickly and efficiently that the job was finished in 2 ½ days! The next business day, Ric came out to do a final walk-through. He was extremely thorough, examining each window for ease of operation, fit and finish, and appearance. He repaired on-the-spot a few items that had been slightly damaged in shipping, and was a real perfectionist in appraising the finished work, spotting a few more things that we would have completely overlooked, for which he said he?d order replacements. He even went so far as to personally re-attach some window-shade brackets whose mounting holes had been covered by the new windows, even though it was clearly noted on the Agreement that such items were the homeowner?s responsibility. Now that?s going the extra mile in customer service! The new windows look wonderful and work very well! All that needs to happen now is to receive and have installed the few ?quality-control? replacement items that have been ordered. We were most impressed with Ric and his crew, and are very happy with our new windows! Our experience with RWT Windows was superior from start to finish, and we heartily recommend them!

After a long research and about 5 different estimates, I decided to go with RWT. It takes some skills to filter through what the different sales rep show you, but the bottom line (for me) was that we don't get enough days of extreme weather days in Cincy to justify getting the higher end models (i.e. Anderson, Pella, etc.). The windows sold by RWT are economical, good quality, and have good reviews online. The installation overall went smoothly. The guys knew what they were doing, which is important just as (and some say more than) picking the right windows. One window came in the wrong size, so they had to come back (on a Saturday morning) about 3 weeks later and install it. This was a nonissue for me, but others might differ.

Ric came to our home and measured all the windows for replacements. We had picked out a specific brand and he gave us an acceptable price. His crew was professional, friendly and tidy. I would definitely recommended them for service and value.

Good job all around by Ric and his installation crew. Crew was friendly and efficient and left everything in great shape. Good experience with everything from estimate to scheduling to having the work completed. The final result looks great.

To be honest, I was dreading having my windows replaced given all the horror stories that I had heard from others who had done this in the past. After interviewing several firms, including Pella itself, I decided to engage RTW to install Pella windows. Everything the owner, Ric, promised came true. He was great to work with. I wouldn't hesitate recommending him or his staff. I believe they install many other brands of windows, in addition to Pella, so don't feel you can't utilize them if you aren't planning to install Pella products.

Ric Thress was professional, showed up on time, offered to remove his shoes before entering my home (after one company showed no regard for my property and even left it damaged, this was an extremely welcomed offer). He spent time assessing my windows (and an exterior door) and what I wanted to achieve with replacements. He was honest in his assessment and recommended I not replace the windows or door yet. He even offered me suggestions on how to "fix" what turned out to be a minor issue with my door. He also gave me advice on the window replacements available and how they would (or wouldn't) meet my needs. I had a total of 7 (8 if you count the company who had to send a second salesperson because the first one was a complete fail - also the one who damaged my property) salesmen come to my home. Only one put my personal interests above his own. I would recommend Ric and RWT Windows to my friends and family (and already have). He will be the first and only company I call when the time comes to replace the windows in my home. I am beyond grateful I checked Angie's List and found RWT Windows!

I was very happy with the entire experience. I have tried searching for an affordable and trustworthy company to replace windows in my home for 6 months. It was not until I joined Angie's list and read the great reviews about RWT that I scheduled an appointment. Ric (the owner)came to home, brought examples, answered my many questions and explained the entire installation process. He was very professional and experienced, I felt at ease and confident. On the day of installation, the staff was prompt, professional and courteous. The installation lasted about 4 hours. The crew was respectful of my home and furniture, they cleaned well after their work was completed. Ric called me that day to make sure I was satisfied with the windows and the experience. The windows are an excellent improvement in my home and I would hire this company again.

We decided to replace the two side by side storm windows in the living room and one storm window in the the front of the house over the garage with picture windows this summer. We liked RWT's proposal and knew going in that their lead time was about 12 weeks. It turned out to be a little longer than that, but after a couple of calls to check on our place in the queue, they called us to schedule the job. The workers arrived on time, worked around our pets and got the job done in a couple of hours. Their work appears to be first rate and the windows look good inside and out. Professional, friendly and competent. They gave us their $100.00 Angie's List coupon credit without our haveing to ask.

It was excellent! No complaints! They completed the work in three days. They arrived on time every morning and they cleaned up pretty well.

RWT Window Company came in June and installed 6 Pro Line 3000 windows. Two windows were the wrong size so I had to wait a month to get them installed. I knew they were busy so it was okay. The only thing was I had to take off work again because they don't work on Saturdays. All is all I was very happy with their installation and they cleaned up their mess. Rick talked me into getting a slider in my bedroom instead of two separate windows and I love the new look. Also it was nice that they cleaned the windows before they left. I love my new windows and they improve the look of my home immensely! I will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs new windows!

Was very professional. Respected my wish to keep the original woodwork in the older house i purchased. Windows were replaced without any damage and very quickly. Would recommend highly.

Ric (and his wife who answers the business phone) are great. They are professional, fair, prompt and they know their business. We purchased 20 windows and a new storm door through them (in several steps) over the last few years. The windows are top quality, they fit with the style of our 94-year-old Tudor, and work great. This is a well-run family business where the owners know how to provide service and top-quality products.

It went alright. Overall job was pretty good. His price good. He is responsive. It is a small company. But he does good work. He is responsive and comes and takes care of it.
