Description of Work: They were professional and patient. Ric Thress came out several times and answered all my questions. The six windows look great and are a definite improvement over the ones that were replaced. I plan to use them again in the future.

Description of Work: RWT Replaced 4 windows on 2nd floor and fixed back door that would not latch. At the time they gave the quote, I asked about getting our back door fixed and he said he would include the door for free if we moved forward with the window purchase. We had to wait several weeks for the windows to come in (same with other window quotes as everyone was still catching up from the crazy cold winter). After a few weeks, Rick called to say a mistake was made and that only one window instead of 4 was ordered. He expedited the re-order and made our $1385 bill an even $1300 for the inconvenience. The windows were installed soon after and I'm very happy with the results and the door was fixed. This was done prior to putting our house on the market , which we then sold in 3 weeks. At all times, Rick was professional and I appreciated that he communicated problems with me honestly and made an effort to rectify it for us without us having to ask for concessions. I would use them again in the future.

Description of Work: We had them out for a window quote. We felt the quote was good and Rick was very personable and sincere. They sell Alside windows and due to a subpar experience with Alside at our previous house, we decided to go with Gilkey this time. If we would have gone with Alside, we would have definitely used RWT!

Description of Work: They replaced my large picture window, and also a double-hung window in the same room. It actually took less time than they estimated, and they took great pains to finish the work before my entertaining, which I really appreciated. They cleaned up after themselves and were promptly gone. Great job!

Description of Work: I contacted RWT windows and had the owner Ric come out for an estimate for full house windows. He gave me a good quote lower than some other window companies. He explained everything and told me they were backed up and it wouldn't be until January or February til they could install the windows. He was right on that account. He called before hand and we picked the date of February 10th to install the windows. 3 guys from RWT showed up around the time we agreed. They were very nice, courteous and professional. They all worked very hard, and deserve a shout out since February 10th was a very cold day. It did warm up a bit in the afternoon, not much though. The guys worked through the whole day, and got all the windows installed that day. They did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves. I would most definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: Ric, owner, came to home to see if two upstairs windows (23 yrs. old) could be cause of screened-in porch roof leak below. He determined that the windows were not the cause and would not accept payment for his trip and evaluation. Given that the windows are old, he could have tried to sell me replacements but didn't. I would highly recommend this company and will call them if/when I choose to replace windows.

Description of Work: The important thing to know is that Ric came to do an estimate a couple days after we called. Even though another company had recommended replacing all our windows, Ric did not pressure us at all about purchasing his windows. He listened to the fact that we don't plan to stay in this house more than a few years, told us our windows are not that bad, took the time to do a minor repair to one track that wasn't working, & gave us the name of a man who could replace the double pane glass with grids for us for a FRACTION of the cost. Because of his professionalism, we would have definitely bought a house full of windows from him, but because of his integrity, he advised us to save the money right now. He wouldn't even accept payment for his trip or the window repair. WOW! How often has that happened to you?

Description of Work: I contacted RWT Windows, by phone, and told them that I was interested in FULL replacement of 24 windows. I told them that I wanted a FULL tear-out, and replaced with Aluminum-clad WOOD windows. I set up an appointment, and rearraigned my schedule to accommodate Rick. Rick came out, looked at one bank of 3 windows in my FR, and said that he wasn't interested because he could do 12 jobs with vinyl windows in the time it would take to do my job. I was P*****. He totally wasted my time, when he knew what I wanted, from our phone conversation. I wouldn't hire this guy for anything. And, obviously, the profit margin on vinyl windows must be incredible. I guess the vinyl windows are grossly over-priced. So much for customer service.

I HAVE AND WILL ALWAYS CONTINUE TO RECOMMEND RWT TO MY FRIENDS, BUSINESS ASSOCIATES AND ACQUAINTANCES. THE REASON I FEEL COMFORTABLE IN DOING SO IS THAT THEY'RE THE BEST! IF I EVER MOVE AGAIN, AND THE WINDOWS IN THE NEW HOME NEED REPLACING THERE'S ONLY ONE COMPANY THAT I'LL CALL AND THAT'S RWT WINDOWS. I'M SORRY IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE AN ADVERTISEMENT....IT'S NOT...IT'S JUST THAT I WAS THAT IMPRESSED WITH THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE.
