Description of Work: The main indoor pad for our security system did not work. The Pro Alert representative discovered the problem immediately and fixed it quickly. He was very prompt, professional and friendly.

Description of Work: Ron was very polite and understanding. Got back with me right away. Showed up right on time and stayed busy until the job was finished. He explained it all to me and took his time so that I would understand. I had alarms and security system put in my home, with motion detectors and door and window alarms. Ron did a thorough job and cleaned up what little mess that he made. I would recommend Proalert to anyone wanting to feel safe.

Description of Work: I wanted a home security system installed as soon as possible because I was closing on a house but would not be occupying it for a coupe of months. I had used ADT and Brinks at past homes and had not been pleased with their service. After researching through the List, I chose ProAlert because of member comments on service, price, and location (liked that it was a local company). I called and Ron called me back immediately. He met me at the house on the day of closing and had a new system installed within a couple of days. I have been very pleased with it ever since. My costs (above) include installation of a new system and some new sensors, key fob remote, and six months monitoring. The total cost was lower than competitors'. The system itself is very handy because it's connected to my smart phone and I can arm/disarm, and track all through the phone, even when I am several miles away at work. Ron was terrific at assessing my particular needs and adapting the set-up to them. For instance, I have large dogs that may be inside while I'm away. He installed the motion detector so it will still do its job but the dogs won't trigger it. Ron was also extremely thorough and prompt in meeting with me after installation to run through everything. He also followed up afterwards with a phone call. I have his numbers and know that I can call a live human being--one I know--if I have any problems. After years of dealing with faceless voices who love the "hold" button (at ADT and Brinks), this is a huge plus. I recommend ProAlert absolutely for anyone who needs a security system.

Description of Work: I've had the service for several years now and they have always provided excellent customer service - I recently had additional equipment added to my existing system to provide better overall security per recommendation. The monthly service expense is exceptionally priced - very reasonable! But alarm system components themselves aren't cheap anywhere you go - however Proalert is reasonably priced for equipment and service calls and it is worth every penny to have good equipment and a good company backing it up. Proalert is a great company and I sleep better at night knowing that I have a dependable company watching over me! Thanks!

Description of Work: One of our monitoring key pad controls stopped functioning and we called Proalert and we another key pad installed at no cost. Proalert took care of this in an expedient manner.
