When they looked at one of the screens they found that only an adjustment was needed to be made and reinstalled the screen. The same went for the sliding screen door. They could have just made new screens but they did not and that saved me a lot of money. I requested that they wear slippers over their shoes and they had no problem doing doing so. I was so impressed with the service of the company that I called to give a compliment; I got to speak directly with the owner.

Had a little apprehension since some previous reviewers were not pleased with the customer service provided by this company, but as far as the actual service was concerned, we have no complaint. On appointment day, the office phoned ahead and gave us a time. The serviceman was on time, courteous, and informative. The window seems to be working properly now. The service call, at $78, seems a little high, but the work was done with no additional charge, and we were given that $78 figure up front. My only complaint is the small stain left in my driveway that I found after, oil or whatever. I find this irritating. Maintain your vehicles, or keep them out of my drive.

Excellent work. They are pretty busy so you have to wait a few weeks for them to come out, but the service and price were great. If we had known the repairs would be this cheap, we wouldn't have waited four years to have them repaired.

Paid more than $75 for a technician to measure three windows for replacement screens. Waited ten days for the screens, only to find gaps around the screens, when installed. Technician returned, remeasured windows and informed me the windows were irregularly shaped, and that a shim should be inserted. This would have resulted in screens that did not slide. Also gave two storm windows to be repaired. These were not completed in a timely manner, so took them back. Returned the screens and requested reimbursement for half the custom measuring fee. One of the employees, a female, hissed, "She has no right to come in here and ask for that!" Overheard this while waiting in the front lobby. Although the owner agreed to my suggested compromise, and I received the refund I requested, I will never do business with this company again.

I had e-mailed the company to describe the problem I had. They e-mailed back, stating that's what they did. We set up an appointment, my husband took off work, they came out - stated they didn't do those kind of repairs - old house, third floor small window, broken glass panes. He did give my husband the name of another company - which we probably won't call

He did a great job fixing the windows (no more propping them open with sticks). It is hard to schedule with them, you have to call in advance and expect to have a 2-3 week wait. The cost per window is the same whether you have 1 window or 50, so you don't get any cost savings by having them come out and do several over having them do one at a time. Other than that, they did a great job and we are pleased.

They showed up when they were supposed to and finished the work within a half an hour. The window was a normal sized window and we needed it to operate correctly.

I thought I'd have to buy new windows, but Picken's servicemen saved our old ones. Now they close AND open. They even STAY open. The workers called ahead to let us know their approximate arrival time. They were knowledgeable, fast, friendly, & neat. With Picken's help, we can put the cost of replacement windows off for years!

THEIR QUALITY OF WORK IS VERY GOOD, AND THE SERVICE IS EXCELLENT. ALL OF THE REPAIRS WERE COMPLETED WHEN PROMISED. NOT ONLY WERE THE SCREEN REPLACED BUT SEVERAL WOOD PIECES THAT WERE ROTTING HAD TO BE FABRICATED.

WORK WAS EXTREMELY FAST AND COURTEOUS. VERY SATISFIED WITH ALL ASPECTS OF THE WORK PERFORMED. ONLY GLITCH COMES FROM TRYING TO COMMUNICATE WITH PICKENS REGARDING THE DATE THE WORK WAS TO BE PERFORMED. PICKENS USES A NUMBERING SYSTEM FOR MANAGING THEIR CUSTOMER BASE. IF YOU HAPPEN TO FORGET OR MISPLACE YOUR ASSIGNED NUMBER, THEY SEEM TO BE AT A LOSS AS TO HOW TO RELATE TO YOU REGARDING YOUR ACCOUNT. THIS WAS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING.

MY INITAL CALL TO THE WINDOW CO. WAS GREETED WITH A VERY HELPFUL WOMAN WHO INSPITE OF MY LACK OF WINDOW LINGO WAS ABLE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TYPE OF REPAIR WAS NEEDED. THE GENTLEMAN WHO ARRIVED TO REPAIR THE WINDOW WERE QUICK/COURTEOUS AND VERY HELPFUL IN RECCOMENDING ANOTHER ITEM THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED ON THE WINDOW.I WAS ABLE TO GO THAT AFTERNOON AND PICK UP THE TAB'S FROM PICKENS AND WAS AGAIN GREETED WITH QUICK AND COURTEOUS SERVICE. WHAT A GREAT COMPANY WHICH I WILL BE SURE TO RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS WINDOW REPAIRS!

THE WORKMEN ARE PLEASANT AND QUICK. THEY SERVICE ALL SORTS OF WINDOWS AND ARE GREAT AT EXPLAINING WHAT TO DO IF YOU WANT TO DO THE WORK YOURSELF. THEY ARE POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL, AND COME OUT RIGHT AWAY (GREAT, IF YOUR WINDOW PROBLEM IS DANGEROUS).

I HAD TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT A MONTH AHEAD OF TIME AND TOOK TIME OFF FROM WORK TO KEEP IT. THE DAY BEFORE THEY WERE SCHEDULED TO COME OUT, THEY CALLED AND TRIED TO GET ME TO RESCHEDULE. I COULDN'T DUE TO WORK AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD KEEP THE APPT. THEY NEVER CAME AND CALLED TO LET ME KNOW THEY TOOK ANOTHER CUSTOMER OUT IN MIDDLETOWN INSTEAD! WHEN I CALLED BACK, THE SCHEDULER WAS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL, TELLING ME TO FIND ANOTHER SERVICE PROVIDER. I WENT DOWN TO THE OFFICE TO COMPLAIN IN PERSON AND WAS GIVEN THE SHRUG OFF. FINALLY, SOMEONE OFFERED A DISCOUNT IF I WAS WILLING TO RESCHEDULE (ALTHOUGH THE DISCOUNT DID NOT EVEN MAKE UP FOR THE WORK TIME I TOOK OFF THE FIRST DAY). I HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER COUPLE WEEKS. WHEN THE SERVICEMAN FINALLY GOT TO THE HOUSE, HE WAS FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT AND OBVIOUSLY VERY EXPERIENCED. THE WORK DONE WAS SATISFACTORY, HOWEVER, THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS LOUSY. I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE WITH A BUSY SCHEDULE TO HIRE PICKENS.

THEY WERE BOOKED WEEKS AHEAD AND I URGED THEM FOR AN OPENING SOONER SINCE I WAS DESPERATE TO GET THIS RESOLVED PRIOR TO NEW TENANTS MOVING IN. THEY ACCOMMODATED MY SCHEDULE TO THE BEST OF THEIR ABILITY.

HE TOLD ME WHERE TO FIND MANUFACTURER INFO, THE SORTS OF THINGS I SHOULD EXPECT TO HAVE REPAIRED AND EVEN REFERRED ME TO A PERSON TO DO THE WORK. WHAT A NICE MAN! BRIAN PICKENS WAS THE BIGGEST HELP! HE VOLUNTEERED MUCH USEFUL INFO THAT WILL CERTAINLY SAVE MONEY. I PLAN TO CALL HIS COMPANY THE NEXT TIME I NEED SOMETHING DONE.

I WAS ABLE TO FIX THE WINDOW MYSELF AND ALL I HAD TO DO WAS DRIVE OVER AND GET THE PART. THE STAFF WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL. THEY SAVED ME MONEY.

THE COMPANY IS A HASSLE TO DEAL WITH. IT TOOK ME ALMOST 3 WEEKS AND 4 PHONE CALLS TO GET AN ESTIMATE OUT OF THEM AFTER THEY INITIALLY MEASURED THE WINDOWS. IT TURNED OUT THAT THE SERVICEMAN KEEPS HIS PAPERWORK IN HIS TRUCK, SO WHEN I CALLED THE OFFICE, THEY DIDN''T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE JOB EVEN THOUGH I HAD A JOB NUMBER TO GIVE THEM. THEN, AFTER I PAID A DOWN PAYMENT, THEY GAVE ME A DATE AND TIME OF 9:30 A.M. THAT THEY WOULD WORK ON THE WINDOWS. WHEN I CALLED THE DAY BEFORE TO CONFIRM THAT THEY WOULD BE THERE IN THE MORNING, THEY SAID THEY COULDN''T COME UNTIL ''SOMETIME IN THE AFTERNOON,'' AND THEY ''DID NOT KNOW WHY'' ANYONE HAD TOLD ME THEY WOULD BE THERE IN THE MORNING.

VERY HAPPY TO RECOMMEND THEM; WILL USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN.

THEY DONT WANT TO SELL YOU WINDOWS. THEY ARE FANTASTIC. THEY ARE THE KIND OF COMPANY WHO SHOULD HAVE A SPOT ON AL.
