This job was great from beginning to end. My husband worked with Don Johnson, a Project Manager for Hilliard Electric to set up the job. He communicated with us well and his workers were prompt. Wes Combs, Hilliard's electrician, was outstanding. Our house is a quad level, built in 1958. No matter what we need done to it, the house's quirks usually make it difficult to accomplish. Wes has a background in new construction and remodeling which gave him better insight into how to deal with a problem house. He was here for the better part of two days dealing with job after job. His work ethic was remarkable. He never slowed down. In addition, Wes also did an almost unheard of thing in today's service industry. He listened very carefully to what we wanted and why we wanted it done that way. He had good suggestions but ultimately did some things a harder way for him because of the impact it would have on other things we have planned to improve or repair in the future.

I had no problem with the service but I did not like the timing. I was cold all day because they said a service man lived in my area and would stop by on his way home tonight. He did take care of everything but I was cold all day.

Flat hourly rate. Worked quickly and efficiently. Retail price on small electrical fittings (switches/outlets). Installed light fixtures and ceiling fan I had purchased. Suggested ways to save on hourly rate. Did exactly what they said they would do and did it well. Very courteous and very professional. Electrician who showed up to do the work did not expect to need to drag wire through the ceiling. He called in an apprentice at no charge to me to help him pull wire.

My mom called them and they sent out someone to fix the humidifier again. They came today. So far so good. It was an assistant manager that came out today. The only problem my mom had with them is they could not be specific about the time they were coming for the first visit. The receptionist said late morning early afternoon.

Work was completed the day I called, serviceman was very polite and arrived promptly. The company followed up with a note thanking me for my business.

Excellent work, excellent customer service. Gave me an exact appointment and arrived on time (which seems rare these days). Talked with me extensively about what I wanted, was very sensitive to the cosmetics of the project, gave me estimates on some other work, and made recommendations about how to make it look good and keep costs down. Will definitely use them again. I would give them an A++ if I could.

The company representative arrived within two hours of the original call. He gave a thorough and understandable explanation of the problem. The problem was fixed by the end of the afternoon. We will definitely call them again when we need HVAC work done.

Gave me an estimate on the same day I asked. They scheduled the work two days later. Work was done well and he was very courteous.

From coming out to look at what needed to be done, to the final inspection I am completely satisfied with the work provided by Hilliard. They were prompt, courteous and professional through the project. There were no surprises that popped up after they started, the work was completed how and when they told me it would be and no attempt was made to sell me anything I didn t need. I would have them do other work for me should the need arise and would highly recommend them.

I could not recommend this company more. Hilliard Electric performed the service on less than 2 days notice, called ahead on the day of the appointment, and showed up on time. The technician was professional, polite, and courteous. He worked quickly and tried to be as respectful of the house as possible so as not to put any unnecessary holes in the walls while running wires. He also did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. On a follow up phone call they even asked to make sure I used my Angies List coupon. Hilliard Electric offered an above competitive price and was right on target with the ballpark phone quote. There may be other electrical companies equally as qualified in the area, but I will not bother getting quotes from any other companies other than Hilliard on any future projects.

Very prompt response, on time, nice technicians and overall good work.

There is not one negative comment I have about this entire experience. Everything was done as promised and in a helpful and cheerful manner. They were punctual, cleaned up after themselves, and extremely knowledgeable about their product. We had called a competitor and he told us he no longer serviced the area and to go with Nelson Brothers because they were honest and would do a good job. I can't think of any better advertisement than a competitor singing your praises. I would most definitely recommend and use them again.

The service person was prompt, within 2 hours, sized up the situation that water had shorted out an outside outlet. He even got a ladder and cleaned the blocked eave pipe that was causing the overflow. He fixed the outlet with a new waterproof fixture. You couldn't have asked for more from this courteous guy.

They did a good job. They were very pleasant and agreeable. I will use them again.

They did an extremely excellent job. I couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism with which they performed the work and how they worked through the day. I didn't think fishing wire through my old walls was possible, but it worked perfectly.

Hottest day of the year, and within one hour they were out and fixed the problem in 20 minutes. Said I did well by turning the unit off, otherwise would have had to replace the entire unit. Honesty is priceless these days! Tom was professional and courteous!

IT WAS VERY GOOD. THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL, PROMPT, AND PROFESSIONAL. I REALLY ENJOYED WORKING WITH THEM. WE HAD A VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. THEY COULD NOT HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB.

This company was remarkably responsive. I was attempting to install the fan myself after my old one died on the hottest of summer days, but the electrical wires were old and the ceiling support was not adequate for the new fan. Hilliard sent out an employee within 45 minutes of my call, and the fan was fully and safely installed within an hour of the time he arrived. The electrician was curteous and professional, and completely cleaned up afterward. I was impressed on all accounts.

My AC went out and I was informed by the AC tech. that the unit was fine, but that the breaker was overheating and that I needed an electician to replace it. I called Hilliard Electric and someone was here within 1 hour. Kyle replaced the breaker box quickly and my AC is now working again.

Bill was great, fixed everything I needed that day. Arrived exactly on time and everything looks good. Plan on using them again to replace hanging light fixtures in dining room and hall.

They were great. They arrived on time, did a wonderful job with all outlets and switches just as I had asked. Cleaned up after themselves and did everything in a very timely and professional manner. From now on I will have them do all my electrical work.

Great -- they showed up promptly for the estimate, walked me through what they proposed and why, showed up on time for the work and had everything taken care of in a short time. They completely delivered on everything they promised, and even followed up with a written thank you note for choosing them. Their price was completely within the range of contractors I looked at, and was actually lower than most.
