Their workmanship was very good, and they were on time. They were very knowledgeable and the quality of service was satisfactory. I recommend very high ratings for them and will use their services again.

Called and spoke with Yancey. He took his time with me and asked questions to insure he gave a solid estimate. His frienliness and asking more questions than the others convinced me to go with his company. Rob showed up the next day and assesed the wiring situation and went to work installing both fans. We needed a remote for one of the fans and he took it upon himself to have someone in the shop go pick it up and bring it to him. That was definitely above and beyond the call of duty. He was an all around professional, he did the job right, efficiently, cleaned up very well ansd was friendly during the process! NOTE We had two contractors come out last year to look at the ceiling fan and both said it could only be done with surface wiring...obviously Rob was from a different school.

It was all good. They called the stair chair company to make sure they were doing it correctly.

Nelson came out to run a small extension from existing power in the ceiling of our garage in order to add a plug for a new garage door opener we were having installed. They did a great job.

Installed two new plugs, fixed a bad splice, examined the doorbell, and recommended that fixing it would be overly invasive and that we should go with a wireless unit. Punctual, polite, did good work, and left no mess. Would recommend.

They're very reputable, prompt, super cautious, careful, extremely diligent and I've never seen a finer company. They were very professional and organized.

The pendants were not aligned though this could have been in part do to the ceiling or stems that came with the fixtures. One globe was broken by the repair person during install. The contractor offered to pay; however, he did not wait very long for me to get an estimate of the broken fixture. He billed me and gave me a $10.00 credit for the fixture.

They were excellent, they were very knowlegdable, they had to balance a light over a pool table, and they did a very good job, it turned out great, they were full of recommendations.

Joe did an excellent job installing all of our new lights. The new wiring and switch he installed in the garage was done in a professional manner. The wires are all nice and neat. The lights on the garage are placed perfectly and work great. Joe worked hard on the front light post. He dug a deep hole and concreted in the post so it is sturdy. He used a level on everything so the post and light are straight. Joe really cares about doing the job right. He always cleans up the job site when he is done. We are going to continue to call Hilliard for all of our electrical projects. They are great to work with.

I had an issue with my breaker box and my sump pump and was unsure if they were related. Hilliard came out and replaced the breaker and determined the sump pump motor was bad. While there, he looked at several other electrical issues and when something went wrong unexpectedly, he quickly fixed the issue and told me exactly what I needed to do. He advised me on how to efficiently and cost-effectively have my pump repaired and he came back to re-install the sump pump and further install two other light fixtures and a switch. He worked very quickly and wasted no time, ensuring I got the most for my money.

Excellent service, easy to work with. Joe, the technician, knew his business, showed up on time, was flexible and proactive. Yancy at the home office was very knowledgeable, engaged and proactive and followed up to answer any questions and make sure the work was of appropriate quality. I was able to save on some labor by digging my own trench for the circuit, everything has worked out very well. I would use Hilliard Electric again and I would recommend them to my friends and acquaintances.

They came for an emergency on a Saturday evening. I felt that they were responsive and did a good job.

It was great. He was put the day after I called him. He was very prompt. We have an older home, so he took his time to make sure he got everything right.

I had noticed late Sunday night that my air wasn't working. I got on Angie's list and chose a contractor to call. I left a message with Nelson Bros. Early Monday somebody called me, and set up an appointment time for 9am. The technician arrived promptly on time. He was courteous and professional. After assessing the situation, he let me know that the coil was rusted. He SHOWED me the coil. My unit was also leaking freon. Since my house is only 3 years old, he assured me that the coil was certainly under warranty. He advised that I had to do nothing, that he would get the coil, and deal with the manufacturer, and warranty issues. My technician, Tony, also let me know that it might be difficult to find the coil, since they no longer made them, due to new government legislation. He promised me though, that he WOULD get it. I would need only pay for the labor to install the new coil. He could do that THE NEXT DAY!!! He loaded up the A/C with freon so that we could have air for about 18 hours, and promised to call me with updates. Cut to that evening. About 6pm. Tony calls me. He says that he is having trouble finding the coil, but he is not giving up. Worst case scenario, it may be an extra day or two before he gets the A/C fixed, but promises to find the coil. (If he can't find my coil, it will require tearing out all of my duct work. Messy and expensive.) Next morning, at 8am Tony calls to let me know that he found the coil! He'll be over at 9am if that is okay. He was prompt and professional again. He spent the entire morning and early afternoon at our house. When he was finished he showed us the finished product, and he explained what might have caused the rust, and how we could prevent it from happening again. I am extremely pleased with the work that Tony did, and the lengths that he went to to keep me "in the loop" while he searched for that coil. I will absolutely call on Nelson Bros. again.

I called Hilliard Electric on Tuesday afternoon. The gentlemen scheduled me for Thursday morning at 8am at my request. My electrician, Joe, arrived Thursday morning promptly at 8am. He was very professional. (Even with our bull mastiff all over him!) I showed him the rooms where the work needed to be done, as well as the fans, and the light fixtures that I had purchased. The fans, and the lighting fixtures were still in the boxes. I had originally intended to put a fan in my youngest child's room, however, I had noticed the night before that there might problem with the height of my son's bed, and the position of the potential ceiling fan. I asked about this. Joe gave me some different ideas that may, or may not solve my problem, depending on what I was looking for. I ultimately decided not to have the fan installed in that room, however it was important for me to have a professional opinion. The work was done in a timely manner, and it was done well. The next electrical job that I have, I am calling Hilliard.

The company was great working around my unpredictable schedule. The two ceiling fans proved to be problematic due to my house being old and problems with the ceiling due to previous light fixtures. The technician bought additional parts and spent the extra time getting the fans installed. He explained the problem causing the outlets to not work and fixed that also. Everything looks great and I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to others.

I called early in the morning because my air conditioning had gone out. I had dealt with another service company and was dissatisfied with their work. So I was looking for some good service. And did I get it!! From the time I got a live person on the phone (first try) to the finished product, I was extremely pleased. They sent one of their trained employees right over to check things out. After thoroughly explaining to me the problem and my options to repair/upgrade, the technician called his estimator to come over to give me a few estimates, based on different options. He was there within 2 hours. Both employees were very professional, very clean, and knowledgeable. They sent a team of technicians out the very next morning, at 7:30 a.m., because they new I had to be out of the house by 1:00 for an appointment. The did exceptional work, complete and clean.
