Description of Work: The compressor failed in our 15 year old heat pump, which is apparently like the engine going out in an old car. Time to replace whole HVAC system. Got 4 quotes. Went with Logan because they had a great financing plan through Home Depot & seemed very professional, even though they were not the cheapest. The salesman assured us that the Trane 2-stage heat pump with variable speed furnace was the way to go even though rather expensive. After doing a lot of research, I agreed. The installation took most of a day. The men who did the install were very professional,kind to our curious young kids, & left our basement neater than they found it. Our power bills have been halved by the energy efficient heat pump/AC, almost paying for itself, and the HVAC system has had no problem handling extreme weather unlike our old one. When the inspector came to verify all was done to code, I was surprised by how little time the inspection took & he said, roughly (not a direct quote), if its done right, it doesn't take a long time to verify that. We are very happy customers, would highly recommend Logan Services to anyone.

Description of Work: They installed a new heat pump. Awesome! It took a month for me to research other companies before I decided on Logan. They didn't pester me with calls and emails during that time. Once I decided in them, it only took 3 working days to have the install complete. And that was partly because I told them I wasn't in a rush. The technicians installed in 2 days and when I got home from work stayed an extra hour just to go over the system with me. They even told me some things to check in the future to save me a service call if it goes down in years to come.

Description of Work: I was not desperate for a new A/C, I was just going to upgrade existing unit. This company was obtained through the Home Depot. They were very knowledgeable and had the best deal overall of the 4 companies I had estimates from. However the Tax income credits were in transition and might have been cut off and the company was reluctant to honor the pricing as the tax credits may or may not credited back to Logans after it was given to me. I would do business with them again, and perhaps the energy credits will be forthcoming again in the near future.

Description of Work: This was an estimate for a new heat pump. I probably should have gone with this company as I was not happy with the company that I chose. They did provide a reasonable estimate.
