Started off not so well in meeting at the house. At the time of signing, the salesman said all floor vents would be balanced in the house because of some concerns we had and at the morning of the installation , the installer said it was impossible. It ended up being a terminology issue. Balance the house and adjust air flow to certain rooms have different meaning. The installer protected our floors with tarps and wore shoe protectors when checking vent air flow. He was eager to please to adjust air flow into rooms of concern and the job was done neatly and in one day. The installer was patient and went over all the maintenance issues with me. After the initial morning meeting misunderstanding was resolved things went well and the crew did a great job.

Logan installed our system a little over 5 years ago. Last year a Freon leak was detected and determined to be due to either improper installation or an inexperience/sloppy technician flushing the system on any one of their maintenance visits -- all installation and maintenance was done by Logan so it is out of the question that Logan's poor workmanship was the cause. However, because as they claim, it has been over 5-years, they are not bound to fix this free of charge. So, if Logan creates a small enough leak while installing your system -- OR a technician is simply not qualified to do a maintenance job without damaging O-rings (leakage), you will be the one paying for someone to fix it.
Description of Work: Logan caused damage to O-rings, creating Freon leak. Won't pay.

October: Technician found a leak in the system, but did not fix it. May: Another technician from Logan found the same leak and tried to charge us for the coolant that had leaked out since previous October. THEN wanted to charge us PER HOUR to find the leak. We offered to pay for the first hour of the search for the leak, but if it took longer, that would be Logan's responsibility -- a) it was the system they installed, so we expected them to have better support for their equipment and installation and b) we simply didn't trust them to be honest about how long the leak search would take given that the technician from October turned out to be less than trustworthy. We had to fight to keep from paying them for the lost coolant. Logan turned down our offer to have us only pay for the first hour of search. We dropped them as our heating/cooling company.

After getting multiple quotes, and discussions with each company, I decided to go with Logan Services to replace our heat pump. Our salesman, DeAndre was the main reason we went with Logan. He is very sharp, confident and wanted to ensure we had the right product for our home. Everything DeAndre stated was carried out by our installers, Travis and Garrett. This included reviewing their checklist to make sure I knew what was occurring before, during and after installation. No issues or concerns with the installation. Both installers were on time, experienced and knew their stuff. We purchased a 4 Ton heat pump and everything was removed and replaced (including some sheet metal work) the same day. If you want to work with a professional company, I would definitely recommend Logan Services.

I got a hard sell for a new system over the phone. All I wanted was a service call. We just moved into a condo which is approximately 20 years old. It holds temperature fine, the only issue is that the fan runs continuously even in auto mode. I was informed that they were only interested in replacing the unit. To put it mildly, I'm very put off by Logan's lack of professionalism.

After learning about your fan issue, our representative asked questions to try to resolve the issue over the phone. When she learned that it could not be resolved during your conversation, she addressed the age of your system (20 years) and said "typically, once a system gets to that age, the only thing we may be able to do is to quote you on a new system". At this point you abruptly ended the call, not allowing our representative to finish what she was saying. It's unfortunate that the conversation ended so quickly, because we are able to service systems of that age, we just always like to be very upfront and transparent with our customers that replacement may be a viable option. Of course, every situation is different, and our highly-experienced technicians are able to provide repair solutions and replacement options at the time of your service appointment. We do apologize if there was any misunderstanding from our conversation. We understand if you found another HVAC provider to work with, but we would still be happy to help you with servicing your air conditioner if you should still need our services. The work was overpriced, poorly done, faulty, and the list goes on! My High Priced electronic air filter failed in less than 5 years, the condensation pump has apparently had a leak for 5 years that I did not notice, until the damage had taken it's toll. I called for the "free" 1 year service (twice) and 1 time was scheduled and no one ever came, and then a re-call on it and no one ever came, left a note or called on either.

I could not be happier (except for having to do anything at all). The a/c unit needed to be replaced and Aaron spent time with me explaining all of the options, including that it would cost the same to replace the furnace also. During my decision making, he was always available by phone to answer any questions or give further clarifications. Kyle and Jake arrived on time and worked like beavers through the day to finish a little ahead of schedule. Very impressed with this company and recommend them to everyone!

2 and half years ago I had paid Logan's 15,000 dollars to update my oil heat to a heat pump. In order for this to happen they had to sub contract an electrician to come out, update my service from 90amp to 200 amp and run all the proper lines to the location of the heat pump. Work was done, fast, and everything worked great. Fast Forward 2 and half years.. We had a tree removed from my yard. The service line had to removed from my home in order to make room for a crane.. Duke came out and said that I only had a temporary connection to my home. Turns out not all of the electrical work was inspected back when it was completed, the company that Logan's subcontracted out to dropped the ball.. After weeks of back and forth, and permits being reopened the work finally was inspected and passed.. Duke came out to make the final service connection. And refused, saying the work performed was unsafe. I was given a certified letter from Duke saying I had 30 days to have this fixed or they would shut off power to my house.. The elecrical company came out.. an said in order for them to fix it it would cost 175.00 dollars... Ultimately I had to pay to have even more work done.. Why does this mean I'm giving Logan's 1 star review? I paid over 15 thousand dollars to have this work completed.. When you pay that much money you have an expectation of the work being done, is being done correct. But when mistakes were made, by a company Logan's hired to do the work. You think Logan's would stand behind the customer. You would think either Logan's or the Electrical company would eat the cost of mistakes made.. That is not the case.. I was faced with the decision. Pay 175 dollars to have this fixed or have my electric shut off by Duke ... I urge you never to do business with a company that hangs their customers out to dry... Disgusting business practice. Please do business elsewhere.. Logans told me this problems was between myself, Duke, and the Electrical company THEY hired to do the work. I was told. They were out of it at this point

Hello - Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are very familiar with your situation, as we recently worked with you to make sure that the electrical work passed inspection and was up to code. To recap, the Inspection Bureau did pass the work done by the electrical company. After learning about Duke saying 'the work done was unsafe', we contacted the Inspection Bureau to verify that the work was done up to code. They confirmed the passing of the inspection. The Inspection Bureau then informed us that any issues that Duke had with the work would need to be communicated to the electric company for them to sort out between the two of them, as they saw no reason to fail the work. This is a very uncommon situation, and we certainly understand your frustration. We do care greatly for our customers and the importance of safety, which is why we worked with you to make sure that the IBI passed the inspection. We do hope that Duke and the electric company are able to settle this for you, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced.

This was my experience yours may be different. I have owned property for more than forty years and never had a technician walk in look at a furnace and state I have to call my boss. When he did return from walking outside he stated he could do no work due to a liability concern due to a another tech. had previously done work on it. This determination was made in *less than 5 minutes*, of course the question Then became you don't want to replace the furnace? ........Really?

In this particular situation, we were quickly able to identify a pretty significant safety issue; it appeared that the previous company who had been out to look at your system cut your safety wires and spliced them back together. Due to this being done, our technician did not feel comfortable working on the system, and our notes indicate that he did reach out to our Service Manager to confirm that. We apologize that you were not expecting this diagnosis. We certainly hoped that we could have repaired your system upon arrival, but we do take great pride in our work, and unfortunately the previous work done to your furnace did not meet our safety standards, which is why we were not able to provide you service for the repair. Our technician did waive the service fee for the visit, and as you mentioned, he did offer you furnace replacement options. We understand that you may want to work with another company for your heating needs, and we do wish you the best with your home comfort.

Sales person did nice walk through the house spent time answering questions was not in a rush, take pictures documenting what work needed to be done. Final price was not cheapest however felt could trust the sales person and company with our home and property to treat as I would if I was doing the work. Ended up with 2 new HVAC units one with humidifier; 1 80% efficacy (attic install) and other 96% (basement install) and both AC units up to SEER 18. Install time would be between 2-3 days. Install notification was nice told me through email and text messaging that installer would be there at 9 am. Called the service line at 9:30 asking if still on for install, service line told me they had between 9 am and 10 am to show up, install team (3 guys) showed up at 9:40. Said they would start on the attic unit first, which was very odd because they did not have a ladder. As home owner have multiple ladders because always need a ladder for something around house, so no big deal they used the 2 ladders that had. Very odd install team would not have a ladder right… The team was able to change out HV system in attic within the same day so had heat that night. They did do some damage to trim work around the attic entry point given had to get a new unit in up there and take old one out. Wish they would have done better job of repairing it, just more work for the home owner and not quality workmen ship (picture attached). Installed 2 new thermostats for the new units, workmen ship was questionable as did not use wall anchors nor patch the wholes or roughness around old thermostat units (picture attached), more work for the home owner to complete and shows the lack of quality and care for the home. Install day 2 showed up at 9:20 (4 guys) replaced basement HV unit with some duct work on the return side to get the correct air flow requirement for the unit. Installed 2 AC units outside (4 ton and 2 ton), which are very large units, that stand almost 5 feet tall. The old units were on polls that came out from the foundation of the house and were raised off the bed of mulch that was under them. The polls that came out from the house were cut off and new units placed on the ground not in the defined same space but also on the grass with plastic slab. There is also a sprinkler 2in away from the unit now, which is not recommend by the manufacture. More work for the home owner to complete and lack of quality workmen ship (pictures attached). Asked if the install of these AC units could be changed to concrete slab or any other ideas to make these brand new units not sit on the ground, the sales person said they would work with me to help make it right. Got an email from him saying it would be 600 dollars to take them out wait for me to complete a slab or whatever work I wanted done and reinstall them. Again more work for home owner to complete. Install day 3 which was 5 days after the day 2 install because there was another install the team had to get to. During those 5 days we placed 2 service tickets for heating issues where the first floor was cold and 2nd floor was hot, this was corrected by getting correct temperature on the wall thermostats. The humidity level in the home dropped so far that family started getting bloody nose why we got the humidify in the first place, this was corrected by setting the humidifier to run when the HV unit was not only heating but when it was not heating was told. Day 3 install was one guy finishing things up and doing all the testing on the units performance for both HV and AC units. Went over paper work signing and little bit about the units and where the paper work was if I wanted to read it to understand the units in deal, which I can understand. Placed our 3rd service call on the new HVAC units in 2 weeks because load noise when the fan shuts down, the unit seems to be running more than old unit and it is cold on the 1st floor compared to 2nd floor, plus the humidity level is still not good. The results of the service call was a different technician came out and performed system review, found that the gas pressure are low, adjusted 1st stage and 2nd stage air flow and gas, adjusted humidifier setting to run even without heat. Not sure why it was not done correctly dunning the other 3 day installation. We keep the house at 74 for heat and 78 for cool, with humidity at 40% for heat and 50% for cool. Truly I’m not sure how this going to turn out, but I can guess what in store for me more work for the home owner, however one thing is for sure I wish I never signed up for this service and had my old units back, at lease I knew what to expect. This is one home owner experience dealing with Logan Services, these challenges and issues are only with one install that has lasted 3 weeks.

We absolutely agree that our team should have had ladders for the job, and we do apologize for that. It doesn't appear that we were aware of any concerns you had about damage to the trim at the attic entry; we would have preferred that you brought it to our attention at the time of the installation, but we will certainly make sure to remind our team of the importance of the little things like this. As for the thermostat replacement, we are not skilled in dry-walling, so unfortunately we aren't able to help with this if it was needed. It's evident that we should have communicated that better to you, and for that, we do sincerely apologize for the oversight. For the inconveniences that you have experienced, we did work with you and provide you with a significant discount to remove and reinstall the air conditioners while a concrete slab was poured so your systems could be raised off the ground. Not only would I not recommend this company, I would warn you away.
Description of Work: They installed a mini split ductless system. The city FAILED the insulation. And the salesman tried to tell me the covering for the wires on the side of the house were optional after I complained. Funny, after the inspection failed, the covering for the wires was put on. I don't feel the company was honest nor careful. However, the product itself is good.

ok. The only problems is it was financed by home depot at a rate of 26%. I do not know the terms of agreement for the warantee.

3.5 Years ago I had Logan's install a new heat-pump and emergency heat system in my house. I had gotten quotes from 4 different companies and Logan's was very comparable and even cheaper than some. They didn't harass me while I was getting the other quotes and deciding on which company to go with. They had zero % financing for 7 years. I also have them service my unit now and they are always prompt and have never found any issues. I would highly recommend them.

I have it done twice a year. They are due to come out again. I have a service contract with them.The price is fair.
