Just Ask & Consider it Done - Ohio

The service was great! I purchased the deal on Angie's List and even though the service provider was booked for a couple of weeks out they were able to fit me in sooner since I needed the cleaning done ASAP. I'm in the process of selling my home and it was a big help to have someone come in and give the place a thorough cleaning. The cleaning crew did a great job and were very detailed, communication was great throughout and everyone I dealt with was very professional. I'd highly recommend using this service.

Housecleaning went fine. People were thorough and friendly. Scheduling it was challenging, however, and it ended up getting delayed several times.

I made a list of my priorities. Two of the things on my list were to clean the corners in the bathroom and all of the switchplates and cabinet handles, which were not done. They spent a lot of time cleaning our tiled kitchen and family room floors by scrubbing on their hands and knees. (I have never cleaned on my hands and knees before in my life!, and didn't think this was necessary). There were still dirty spots left in the bathroom ceramic sink. They did a good job in the kitchen.

The service provided by Just Ask and Consider It Done was excellent. I was very pleased. I had to pay $50 more because it was on a Saturday and $35 more because it was farther than their usual way to go.

The three ladies showed up right on time, introduced themselves and got immediately to work. The end product is fantastic and now I get to have the weekend off! I'm solidly considering having them come on a regular basis. They asked for a half way inspection of the 2nd floor and I found that they hadn't done the door frames and louvered doors but they went right back up and corrected it. They hand wash all the floors and baseboards which makes sure they get everything. The only drawback with this approach is they couldn't clean all the way under the king size bed but I'll get it with a mop. They moved all the items on shelves to dust them and everything around it. Unfortunately they ran out of time (limitations of Living Social deal) so they didn't get all the louvered doors and frames on the main floor but everything is in great condition for me to have guests for the long Labor Day weekend.

Ladies showed up on time and I showed them what area of the house I needed them to focus on and then they went right to work. In the bedroom they did a complete sweeping of the hardwood floor and cleaned all other surfaces. In the living room there was still a few pieces of furniture, the ladies was able to get the floor swept even behind the furniture and then mop the floor. In the dining room there was a lot more clutter to work around but they did a great job at getting the floor swept and mopped and got all the other surfaces cleaned. In the kitchen I thought the floor was a lost cause that it was going to have to be replaced but they got down on their knees and scrubbed the floor. It was well worth the money for all the work they got done and the amount of time they saved me. I would recommend them to anyone that needs houseleeping help

The owner of the company was very professional setting up and confirming the cleaning. Her staff arrived early and went right to work. They were pleasant workers but they were in a rush to get finished. They missed several key items that was on their check list that they provided. I then had to instruct them to go back and do those things. After the clean, I informed the owner of those issues and she was offered to give me the first hour free for the next clean. I would probably give them another shot at my business based on how well the owner performed.

They cleaned what they wanted to clean. They were unable to tackle the bigger jobs in my home.

UPDATE: Owner called me back, apologized for the error, she had made our appoiintment on a seperate calendar than normal, and her staf didn't see it. Still not super happy with it, but I understand mistakes happen. We never did go with their services, it was too hard to convince my husband it was necessary now. Although the woman was very friendly and apologetic.

This company did a great job and I would recommend them to others. The house was spotless and the workers were very efficient.

This is a follow-up to the reply by the provider of my review for services rendered on March 5, 2013. I wanted to see if the provider had apologized or had an explanation for the "c-grade" service I received and was shocked at the inaccuracies and blame the provider listed in the reply. I looked at other reviews and noticed, if clients weren't entirely favorable in their reviews, the provider was often very defensive and blamed the client. Be very careful if you still choose to use this provider. In my case, the person writing the reply never visited my house and had no idea what transpired. I was there. Here are the things he/she wrote that were totally erroneous: - I was never asked about listing what I wanted cleaned in priority from "1st to last". I did list the things I wanted cleaned and the areas of the house that they could skip. - They listed a bathroom they "cleaned" in an area of the house that I asked them not to clean as no one uses that bathroom. No one entered that bathroom that day (I was at home the entire time they were here) - so I don't know why the "provider" listed it as an area cleaned. - They listed the laundry room as an area they cleaned. They didn't enter it. - They listed plants they cleaned around - but in actuality, they told me they couldn't vacuum around the plants as it may clog their vacuum cleaner. - I was not satisfied when they were leaving my house and told them I was very disappointed they didn't vacuum or dust the main living area of the house - so I don't know why the provider states I should have expressed my dissatisfaction. I did! -The provider mentions that they contacted me regarding coming back and completing the areas not finished, but no one ever talked to me afterwards and offered to return to finish cleaning the areas which were ignored. Rather than adopting the business philosophy "the customer is always right"....or even "the customer may be right"...., this provider seems to think "the customer is always to blame" and makes up "details" to support his/her story. Let the buyer beware!

She got back to me pretty quickly, even on a Saturday, and we set up an appointment with her. I ended up cancelling it because I didn't need the work done.

Husband ordered this from Big Deal as I have recently had shoulder surgery, and this was an opportunity to get some detailed cleaning done above what I can do on my own. I called and made appt. for July 16th, 8:30 am and made personal arrangements to have all my animals out of my home during the cleaning. Called them day of appt. at 9:00 am to see if they were on there way - no answer. Called back at 9:30 am - no answer. They finally called me back after 10:00 and stated they had not put my appt. on their calendar, but could "squeeze me in" later that day. I declined as it sounded like I would get a rush job and I also had to pick my animals up for an afternoon vet appointment. We then discussed a different day and at this point I was upset as they didn't seem too concerned that they had greatly inconvenienced me that morning We rescheduled for the following Monday. When I asked what time on Monday, the caller said she would let me know. I explained I needed to know the time on Monday soon so I could once more make arrangements for my animals to be placed elsewhere for those 3 hours. She put me on hold, then came back and sarcastically asked if Friday would be enough time for me? We then agreed on that and proceeded to end the conversation. However, I was fumbling with papers and didn't hang up the phone immediately when I overheard her comment negatively about me to a coworker before she put the phone down. I immediately called back and told her it would be wise to not talk about a client until she hung the phone up. She apologized, but by now I was pretty upset over her insensitivity, my lack of phone response that morning, failure to show for my appt. at all with little apology and we could "squeeze" you in later that day and lack of empathy for having to make arrangements for my 4 animals. I called Angie's List and the caller asked if I wanted them to find a comparable company that would honor this deal, or cancel and get a refund as she sensed I was not comfortable having this company clean my home after the way I was inappropriately treated. That afternoon I received a letter from the Administrative Director at Just Ask & Consider it Done re. the schedule conflict with an explanation that they are remodeling and their lines have been down. (Maybe they should provide another reliable phone number to their clients until their lines are secure). I cancelled the appointment and am in the process of requesting a refund.

They were very thorough. They didn't charge us any more other than the big deal that I had purchased. I had told them specifically to make sure that there were no cobwebs and when they were done, the cob webs were still there. I had also specifically pointed out a piece of furniture that had something spilled on it and I told them to make sure that they got it but they didn't. They were good and I was very pleased with them, they moved furniture and vacuumed underneath and behind it and they scrubbed the floors on their hands and knees. What I have found with every cleaning company is that they have a list to go by, and so if you point out something, they don't do it. They got here when I wanted them to be here.

They were very professional and I really appreciated them. They showed up on time and did what they were supposed to do.

The service went okay. I wouldn't recommend them, maybe I am just picky.

There were 4 people spending 90 minutes each. They were very prompt and worked the entire time. They were very courteous and responded to our directions. They primarily cleaned 3 bathrooms and vacuumed the entire house.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were pretty good. I especially said that I wanted the kitchen, bathrooms and then windows. They did the kitchen and bathroom and totally forgot the windows.

The crew did a great job on deep cleaning. If they weren't sure about something, they checked with me before doing it to make sure everything was just right. My house looked so much better afterwards!

We were satisfied, but not blown away with the cleaning job performed. After the cleaners left we noticed a few items that were missed, but to their credit they did ask while they were still there if anything was missed and we gave them the ok at that time.

Big deal for cleaning where several ladies cleaned. They were relatively thorough - missed a few spots that I noticed after they left. And they did not get as much done as i would have preferred. But they did work the entire time they were here. The team leader was very much a stickler down to the minute when they would leave. Overall it was a good experience, It was what I expected from a quick deal, but it did not seem that they wanted to retain my business. I may have consider them for a follow-up schedule but the owner never got back to me on fees like she said she would.

The visit did not go well. They arrived, smelling profusely of cigarette smoke. After checking in on them, they were standing on the bed, with shoes, on top of pillows, cleaning the headboard. It was at this time that I asked them to leave and sought a refund from Angies List. The person I spoke to on the other end of the phone informed me that 80% of the population smoked and that I should have requested a non-smoking team to clean. The ladies that came were nice, however, they seemed to be worked very hard, with little rest and did not have a consistent, professional appearance. It was unfortunate that I was not able to continue with them for the full time.

Purchased as part of the Angie's list Big Deal. The owner of the company called me right away after my purchase to find out more about my cleaning needs. On the big day, three ladies arrived on time and went right to work. They impressed me with their attention to detail (changed out burned-out light bulbs in my bath, for instance). They were honest with me about what they could reasonably accomplish the three hours I paid for, so I was able to prioritize my cleaning wish list. The owner showed up to get the crew started, which was a nice touch. The only negative I have about my experience was the after-service follow up. I was hoping the company would follow up with me to schedule ongoing cleaning service on a regular schedule (I did express interest in this), but this never happened..maybe I am too far out in the boonies, or perhaps they were completely overwhelmed with business from the Big Deal offer. I would have been an easy new customer to add to the client list.
