I did the packing of all our belongings, and they moved us for 10 mile distance. It was little bit more than the estimate, because of the amount of time they had to spend. They did their job well, and did not damage any of our belongings. They also arranged the stuffs properly. They were friendly and personable as well.

We obtained the number of this company by a flyer which the company distributed in our neighborhood. The estimate was given to my father-in-law by phone during a 20 minute conversation as $125 total. No written estimate was ever given, which I consider very unprofessional. My father-in-laws's understanding of the estimate was that the price would be a total of $125 whereas the owner of this company claims that she told him that the price was actually $125 per hour. On the day that the work was performed, the owner did initially come with the employees to survey the home, but did not tell him the exact time it would take to clean the home, nor did she again confirm the cost to perform the work. It is important to note, that we have had a number of maids clean our home in the past, with the total cost of the work ranging anywhere between $120 to $145. Therefore, my father-in-law thought the estimate of $125 total was reasonable. If we had known that this company's fee was actually $125 per hour, we would have thought that to be outrageous, extremely unreasonable, and would have never hired this company. The work was completed in approximately 8 hours, and a check of $125 was given to one of the employees who accepted the check and never made a comment regarding the amount. The owner then called my father-in-law the next day and was outraged that we believed that the cost would be only $125 total and stated that the cost was $125 per hour. My father-in-law stated that this was an outrageous amount upon which rather than the owner attempting to try to work out some agreement, said that if the total amount was not paid immediately that she would take us to court. At this point, my wife and myself became involved to express our concerns and try to work out some agreement. During our conversations with the owner, we found her to be very defensive, rude to my father-in-law, and very unprofessional. My wife, father-in-law, and I are all professionals in the field of medicine and would never treat our patients in such a manner as we have been treated. During the course of our attempts to work out some compromise with the owner, she agreed verbally to reduce the cost of the work performed by approximately $100 provided we did not 'disparage' her and her company to others. At this point we simply paid an additional $691 which she agreed upon, finally, in writing and the matter was concluded. Towards the end of our communication with her, she did leave a message on our answering machine stating that if we did not submit the fee that she requested that she would begin legal proceedings. We had even sought legal counsel who felt that the fee that the owner charged was not reasonable or customary and it was unprofessional that the company did not provide a written estimate. Because of time constraints of our profession, we did not pursue this matter further and paid her the full amount of $816 that she requested in writing.
Description of Work: This company performed housecleaning services for our home. We have a 3 level home with square footage of approximately 6000 square feet. All the living areas were cleaned with fair results with the exception of one bathroom not being cleaned. There were 4 employees that came initially to clean the home, however, one employee had to leave and the majority of the work was completed by three employees.

AS A POINT OF REFERENCE ONE NEEDS TO KNOW THAT THE REQUEST FOR SERVICE'S CAME FROM THE FATHER-IN-LAW. THE HOURLY RATE WAS QUOTED TO THE FATHER-IN-LAW ON JANUARY 21, 2009. NEITHER THE DAUGHTER NOR HER HUSBAND WAS INVOLVED WITH THIS REQUEST OR INQUIRY OF SERVICES PROVIDED BY JUST ASK & CONSIDER IT DONE, LLC. THE FATHER-IN-LAW DID CONTACT LISA DAVIES (OWNER) ABOUT DOING A DETAILED CLEANING OF THERE 3 STORY HOME AND WAS NOT SURE OF THE SQUARE FOOTAGE. HE DID MENTION THEY HAD 6 BEDROOMS, 7 BATHROOMS, LR, DR, GREAT ROOM, OFFICE, KITCHEN, EXERCISE ROOM, PIANO ROOM, PLAYROOM, LAUNDRY ROOM AND A FINISHED BASEMENT. HE ALSO WANTED ALL INTERIOR WINDOWS CLEANED, ALL BLINDS IN THE ROOMS HAND CLEANED, LIGHT FIXTURES IN ALL THE ROOMS, CEILING FANS, BEDS MADE AND HIGH DUSTING OVER DOOR WHICH REQUIRED A 12 FT. LADDER AND ALL CROWN MOLDING WITHIN THE HOME. THE SCHEDULED DATE WAS SET FOR JANUARY 28, 2009 AT 11 AM. LISA DAVIES QUOTED THEM $125 PER HOUR FOR 3 TEAM MEMBERS. LISA DAVIES ARRIVED ON THE JOB AT 11 AM PROMPTLY ALONG WITH 4 TEAM MEMBERS INSTEAD OF THREE AS QUOTED. LISA DAVIES ONCE AGAIN DISCUSSED WITH HIM BEFORE STARTING THAT THE RATE WOULD BE $125 PER HOUR FOR 3 TEAM MEMBERS. CONSIDERING THE SIZE OF THE HOME AND THE EXTRA WORK HE REQUESTED IT WOULD TAKE THE ENTIRE DAY TO DO THE JOB. LISA DAVIES ALSO MENTIONED THAT THE 4TH TEAM MEMBER WOULD ONLY BE THERE FOR 3 HOURS AND THAT SHE WOULD NOT CHARGE HIM FOR THE 4TH PERSON. THE FATHER-IN-LAW SAID, "THAT HE WAS NOT CONCERNED ON HOW LONG IT TOOK JUST THAT WE WOULD DO A GOOD JOB SINCE HIS LAST CLEANING LADY QUIT". THE JUST ASK TEAM LEFT AT 8:15 PM WITH A TOTAL TIME ON THE JOB OF 9.25 HOURS. JUST ASK TEAM DID NOT TAKE A LUNCH BREAK DURING THAT TIME AND ONLY TOOK TWO 10 MINUTE BREAKS DURING THE 9.25 HOURS. HE WAS THERE UPON COMPLETION OF THE JOB AND DID DO A WALK THROUGH WITH THE TEAM TO CONFIRM THAT JUST ASK DID EVERYTHING TO HIS SPECIFICATIONS. JUST ASK TEAM DID NOT CLEAN ONE OF THE HALF BATHS BECAUSE OF THE TIME AND HOW LATE IT WAS GETTING. HE SAID, "WE COULD GET TO IT THE NEXT TIME WE CAME BACK". HE DID WRITE A CHECK OUT AND GAVE IT TO ONE OF THE TEAM MEMBERS. LISA DAVIES EMPLOYEES ARE NOT INVOLVED IN QUOTING OF THE JOBS OR RECEIVING THE PAYMENTS. THE FOLLOWING DAY LISA DAVIES RECEIVED THE CHECK FROM HER EMPLOYEE OF $125.00. LISA DAVIES WAS SURPRISED TO SEE THAT THE CHECK WAS WRITTEN FOR $125.00 WHEN THERE HAD BEEN AN AGREEMENT FOR OUR SERVICES OF $125 PER HOUR FOR 3 EMPLOYEES. LISA DAVIES THEN CALLED TO ADVISE HIM THAT THE TOTAL INVOICE WAS FOR $1,156.25. INCLUDING THE AGREED UPON ANGIE'S LIST DISCOUNT THE FINAL AMOUNT WAS $928.25. WITH HIS PARTIAL PAYMENT OF $125 HIS REMAINING BALANCE WOULD BE $803.25. HE SAID, "THAT IT WAS TOO MUCH AND HE WOULD NOT PAY THAT AMOUNT BECAUSE HE THOUGHT THE ENTIRE JOB WAS FOR $125.00". LISA DAVIES SAID, "NO, IT WAS $125 PER HOUR FOR 3 TEAM MEMBERS AS ORIGINALLY AGREED TO. IT WAS THEN THAT LISA DAVIES REALIZED THAT SHE WAS NOT GOING TO BE PAID THE BALANCE AND SAID THAT THE MATTER WAS TO HAVE TO BE SETTLE IN COURT OVER THE UNPAID BALANCE. LATER THAT EVENING THEY CALLED AND SAID THEY WOULD ONLY PAY AN ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $691.00 ON TOP OF THE $125 THEY ALREADY PAID. THIS STILL LEAVES AN UNPAID BALANCE OF $112.25 THAT IS IN COLLECTIONS. JUST ASK & CONSIDER IT DONE CLIENT'S KNOW THAT THEY ARE A PROFESSIONAL COMPANY AND HAVE AN OUTSTANDING REPUTATION IN THE TRI-CITY. DUE TO THIS UNFORTUNATE INCIDENT AND HAVING BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR 7 YEARS AS A CHRISTIAN BUSINESS IT WILL NOW BE JUST ASK & CONSIDER IT DONE'S POLICY TO HAVE A SIGNED CONTRACT AND NOT PRACTICE ON "GOOD FAITH ALONE".

The detailed cleaning was between $700 and $800, subsequent cleaning for my 4,000 sq ft house was $185 bi-weekly. I was informed that my house would be kept as clean as it was after the detailed cleaning. The quality was high initially and has degraded dramatically over the past 6 months. I recently pulled away a large picture frame that had been simply propped against the wall and the baseboard and vent that had been covered were coated with dust (I don't expect furniture to be moved, but do expect smaller items to be moved occasionally). Additionally, we discovered money missing from one of my children's gift envelopes immediately after our last cleaning. When I contacted the proprietress to discuss she became defensive about both matters, although this was not the first conversation we had regarding the quality not continuing to be acceptable.

FIVE TEAM MEMBERS WERE PRESENT FOR 5.5 HOURS, TOTALING THE AMOUNT OF $742.50. JUST ASK & CONSIDER IT DONE, LLC HAS BEEN CLEANING HER 4000 SQ. FT. HOME SINCE AUGUST 2007 AT A RATE OF $185.0 EVERY TWO WEEKS. JUST ASK & CONSIDER IT DONE WAS UNDER THE ASSUMPTION THAT THE MEMBER WAS A SATISFIED CLIENT. JUST ASK & CONSIDER IT DONE HAS THE COMPANY POLICY STATING THAT "IF A CLIENT IS UNHAPPY OR IF SOMETHING WAS OVERLOOKED AT THE TIME OF A CLIENTS CLEANING, THEN THE CLIENT IS TO LET JUST ASK & CONSIDER IT DONE KNOW WITHIN THE SAME DAY. THE CLEANING TEAM WILL THEN COME BACK AND CORRECT ANY MISTAKES WITHIN A 24 HOUR PERIOD WITH NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. DURING THE 1 YEAR AND 4 MONTHS THAT THE MEMBER HAS BEEN A CLIENT, SHE HAS NEVER CONVEYED ANY UNHAPPINESS WITH OUR SERVICES UNTIL NOW. LISA DAVIES DID CALL THE MEMBER TO DISCUSS THE MATTER OF THE PICTURE FRAME AND THE $25.00 GIFT CERTIFICATE THAT WAS MISSING UNDER THE TREE IN AN ENVELOPE. LISA DAVIES WAS TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO THE MEMBER, THAT THE SAME EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE BEEN CLEANING HER HOUSE FOR ALL THIS TIME HAVE FOUND SEVERAL LOOSE ITEMS UNDER FURNITURE OR LAYING ON THE FLOOR. SOME OF THESE ITEMS INCLUDE; DIAMOND STUD EARRINGS, MISCELLANEOUS JEWELRY, AND CHILDREN'S MONEY. JUST ASK & CONSIDER IT DONE EMPLOYEES HAVE ALWAYS LEFT A NOTE TO THE MEMBER, NOTIFYING HER OF THESE ITEMS FOUND. LISA DAVIES SUGGESTED THAT IT COULD HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE FOR ANYONE IN THE MEMBER'S FAMILY TO HAVE THROWN AWAY THE GIFT CERTIFICATE ALONG WITH ALL THE OPEN GIFT BOXES, TISSUE PAPER, AND WRAPPING PAPER UNDER THE TREE. LISA DAVIES ALSO ASKED THE MEMBER IF IT WOULD HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE THAT WITH ALL HER CHILDREN AND THEIR FRIENDS OVER, THAT ONE OF THE CHILDREN MIGHT HAVE TAKEN THE GIFT CERTIFICATE. LISA DAVIES WAS NOT DEFENSIVE DURING THE CONVERSATION WITH THE MEMBER. SHE WAS TRYING TO RESOLVE THE MATTER WITH THE MEMBER. THE MEMBER ENDED THE CONVERSATION BY HANGING UP THE PHONE ON LISA DAVIES BEFORE THE MATTER COULD BE RESOLVED. JUST ASK & CONSIDER IT DONE WROTE A LETTER TO THE MEMBER APPRECIATING HER BUSINESS AND APOLOGIZED FOR NOT SATISFYING HER NEEDS TO HER EXPECTATIONS. JUST ASK & CONSIDER IT DONE TRIES TO KEEP OPEN COMMUNICATION WITH ALL CLIENTS.

Great. Found the company on Angie's List. Called them and 2 other companies. Received a call back within a day. Set up initial cleaning and talked about estimated time and money. Arrived on time and worked with budget --spent more than I had budgeted on the initial cleaning, but house in need of it. Then worked with Lisa on the ongoing schedule and price. Very happy.
Description of Work: The did an initial detailed cleaning of our house, then discussed an ongoing schedule. Lisa was very professional but empathetic in working with me on how to fit an ongoing cleaning schedule into our allotted budget. Ben and I were very impressed with the idea she proposed. I think they did a great job, overall.
Description of Work: They did a deep clean in a three level townhouse. They cleaned the following: baseboards, light fixtures, windows/blinds, sliding glass doors and tracks, 2 full baths and 1 1/2 bath, kitchen, mopped bathroom and kitchen floors, cleaned and changed linen in one bedroom (they did not clean the master bedroom/bathroom per my instruction), cleaned two living rooms, vacuumed. Lisa and three women showed up on time and started right away. They were friendly and professional. It took them three hours @ $125 per hour.

It was OK, the owner, Lisa Davies and her receptionist, Aisha, were very nice and professional for the most part. Lisa could have been more informative about the price. There was a misunderstanding about it. She or her receptionist at first quoted $80/hour. But when the bill came out they had charged $160/hour. I questioned Lisa about it and she said that she would never have quoted that amount...and that's all she told me. So of course I was thinking they ripped my mother off. Finally, after a few phone calls, Lisa told me that they had to double the price because they had double the workers. Well, if she would have explained it that way in the beginning, there would have been no problem, but my mother (who is elderly) was very upset. She just lost her husband in April, so she didn't need this upset from them. One of the workers put the dustpan on the kitchen counter. Another worker or maybe the same one, had a bad attitude with my mother when she was wanting them to hurry it up. I think they did a good job in general, but the things I have mentioned has made the experience not good in general.
Description of Work: A lot was done, windows cleaned, carpet vacuumed, garbage removed, kitchen floor swept and mopped, Front door, back door cleaned, 3-floor condo, dust and vacuum, clean bathrooms, kitchen, everything. Not everything was able to get done because of my mother rushing them. (I am the POA for my mother, I am a member with Angie's List, for her, as she does not have a computer.)

THE MEMBER WAS QUOTED A RATE OF $80 PER HOUR FOR 2 TEAM MEMBERS TO DECLUTTERIZE AND SPRAY HER MOTHER'S CONDO, WHICH WAS INFESTED BY BEDBUGS. THE TIME NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE JOB WAS 5.5 HOURS; THE INVOICE TOTALED $440 AND IT WAS PAID. IT WAS OUR IMPRESSION THAT SHE WAS VERY PLEASED WITH JACD AND OUR PROFESSIONALISM BECAUSE SHE HIRED US AGAIN ON SEPTEMBER 3, 2008 TO DO ANOTHER THOROUGH CLEANING OF HER MOTHER'S CONDO. HER MOTHER WAS THERE UPON OUR ARRIVAL AND THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND KNEW THAT THERE WERE 4 TEAM MEMBERS WORKING FOR 6.5 HOURS AND 3 TEAM MEMBERS WORKING DURING A 2.5 HOUR PERIOD. THE MEMBER WAS AWARE OF THE TIME PERIOD OF 9 HOURS BECAUSE SHE WAS IN CONTACT WITH HER MOTHER BY PHONE THROUGHOUT THE DAY, BUT AT NO TIME DID SHE ADVISE JACD OR LISA DAVIES (THE OWNER) TO LEAVE. HER MOTHER TOLD US TO WRAP IT UP AT 6:30 PM BECAUSE SHE WAS GETTING TIRED SO WE DID. THE MEMBER HAD GIVEN HER MOTHER AN EXTRA PUNCH OUT LIST FOR JACD TO DO WHEN WE ARRIVED; THIS WAS ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT WAS DISCUSSED WITH JUST ASK AND WE WERE MORE THAN HAPPY TO TAKE CARE OF IT FOR HER. IT IS TRUE THAT THE 1ST CLEANING WAS DONE AT A RATE OF $80 PER HOUR; HOWEVER, DUE TO THE INFESTATION OF BEDBUGS, THE GENERAL CONDITION OF THE CONDO, AND THE AMOUNT OF WORK NEEDED TO CLEAN IT, IT HAD BEEN DISCUSSED WITH THE MEMBER THAT TO COMPLETE THE JOB IN 1 DAY WOULD BE NEEDED, WITH 4 TEAM MEMBERS -TWICE THE MANPOWER FOR DECLUTTERING, CLEANING AND SPRAYING. SHE TOLD THE OWNER LISA DAVIES WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GO AHEAD AND JUST COMPLETE THE JOB IN ONE DAY. THE RATE FOR A 4 TEAM MEMBER IS $160 PER HOUR, RATE FOR A 3 TEAM MEMBER IS $125 PER HOUR. THE MEMBER'S FINAL COST WAS $1399 FOR 9 HOUR DAY WHICH ALSO INCLUDED REPLACEMENT OF BAGS AND FILTERS AND DISPOSING OF LINENS DUE TO THE BEDBUGS. JACD PRIDES THEMSELVES WITH THERE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AT ALL TIMES AND PLEASING OUR CUSTOMERS. LISA DAVIES (THE OWNER) WAS THERE ON THE JOB SITE DUE TO THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE CONDO. ALL TEAM MEMBERS HAD TO TAKE EXTRA PRECAUTIONS BEFORE ENTERING AND LEAVING THE PREMISES DUE TO THE BEDBUGS. JACD WAS MORE THAN HAPPY TO HELP THE FAMILY AND EVEN WAIVED THE $250 SURCHARGE FOR WORKING IN AN INSECT-INFESTED ENVIRONMENT, IN ADDITION TO COMPLETING THE WORK ON THE PUNCH OUT LIST AT NO EXTRA CHARGE.

They prompt in all their correspondence. When I called and said I had to cancel the next day's appointment,they just left a number, and thanked me for the heads up, no grief, no fuss. They called back about two weeks later to see if the services were needed, and when I said no they thanked me for letting them know. I liked their pricing as well. I will undoubtedly use them in the future.
Description of Work: Called them to schedule a house top to bottom cleaning. I ended up leaving town, then getting it done myself with some friends.

It was fine. I really didn't think they did that great of job. It was much cleaner than it was before. It wasn't that thorough, though. I wasn't very satisfied. They were pretty expensive. They made a special point that they cleaned the top of the fridge and showed me, but it wasn't even clean.

JUST ASK & CONSIDER IT DONE WAS CONTRACTED OUT BY THE MEMBER FOR A TWO-MEMBER TEAM AT A RATE OF $90 PER HOUR FOR A 3-HOUR PERIOD. HE WAS AT HOME DURING THE TIME OF THE CLEANING. LISA DAVIES, THE OWNER, WAS ON THE JOB SITE DURING THE ENTIRE TIME. JUST ASK WAS UNABLE TO DO THE CLEANING IN 3 HOURS DUE TO THE PREVIOUS LACK OF ATTENTION TO THE HOME. THEREFORE,HE AGREED TO EXTEND THE TIME AN ADDITIONAL HOUR TO COMPLETE THE JOB. LISA DAVIES (OWNER) DID HAVE HIM DO A WALK-THROUGH UPON COMPLETION AND HE MENTIONED HE WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH EVERYTHING. THE REFRIGERATOR WAS CLEANED; IF IT HADN'T BEEN, HE WOULD HAVE POINTED IT OUT AT THE TIME AND LISA DAVIES (OWNER) WOULD HAVE CORRECTED IT. IT IS THE POLICY OF JUST ASK TO DO EVERY JOB TO THE CLIENT'S SATISFACTION. WE REGRET THAT HE DID NOT EXPRESS HIS SATISFACTION AT THE TIME OF THE CLEANING, SO CORRECTIONS COULD BE MADE. They were very punctual and able to accommodate my schedule. Lisa (owner) brought in three people and they seemed to be done in no time; even with taking off the shower doors to clean them completely.

This price is per visit. They do a great job. I am very happy with them. Whenever there is a request or problem, the owner will go above and beyond to take care of it. I will continue to use them and would recommend them to others.

Lisa and her crew are very efficient, professional, and work well together.
Description of Work: I have used Just Ask or about a year. My normal clean is just one floor every other week, but my request varies, and the company is always very accommodating. My most recent cleaning was three floors (which included five bedrooms). I was scheduled for a cleaning of just the main floor, but had been ill and unable to keep up, so called and requested a through cleaning of the entire house. Lisa and her staff were able to accommodate last minute, and all arrived and gave the house a cleaning -- from loft area to basement. This cleaning included ceiling fans, blinds, kitchen cabinetry, and tops of hard-to-reach places. Their normal cleaning routine also includes replacing burned out bulbs and cleaning sliding doors and windows on doors.

The crew and the owner of Just Ask arrived on time. The Just Ask owner and her three person crew had me take them on a tour of the house. I pointed out areas that needed particular attention. We toured the entire house including the finished basement which was not included in the initial clean. I told the owner my budget limit, which meant the crew would stop at the end of 3 hours. The owner gave me her cell phone number in case I needed to contact her about anything and she left. The cleaning crew got started cleaning upstairs. The crew spent a lot of time on the bathrooms especially cleaning the tiles, grout, and shower door frames. The crew worked steadily and only took one short break during the 3 hours they were in the house. The crew spent two hours cleaning upstairs and only had an hour or so for the downstairs cleaning. The crew worked even harder to complete the downstairs in an hour. The owner of the company returned just before the 3 hours was up. She wanted to know was I satisfied with the work her crew had done. When the 3 hours were up the crew had just about finished downstairs. I paid the owner by check (they accept credit cards also). Even when the three hours were up one of the ladies continued to hand wash the hardwood floor in the kitchen and entry area. She did not stop until she had finished the downstairs floor and the hardwood stairs to the 2nd floor. When the Just Ask crew left the house looked and smelled very fresh and clean. The crew even changed out burned out light bulbs. I had the house cleaned when my wife was out of town. When she came home all she could say was, Wow. During the first day my wife was home she kept finding little surprises. She took a bath and commented the tub and tile grout had not been that clean for years. The crystal chandelier in the kitchen had been cleaned so it looked like new. She asked what kind of vacuum the crew used because the carpet looked and felt cleaner than when we vacuum.
Description of Work: I have a 3000+ sq.ft home The Just Ask representative recommended that her crew do a detail clean of my house initially at the rate of $105/hour and I agreed. Three women were on the cleaning crew and they cleaned every part of my house upstairs and downstairs. They cleaned bathrooms, vacuumed floors, dusted, cleaned ceiling fans, washed baseboards, etc. The cleaning crew brought a step ladder and cleaned and wiped down high areas that do not normally get cleaned. The crew brought all of the cleaning materials and tools they needed. Just ask has a policy that non-carpeted floors are hand washed to insure all corners and hard to reach places get cleaned.

I really liked them. It was a nice crew. There was some heavy duty cleaning to be done. I had to follow up with them afterward. I think for the amount of cleaning that they had to do, they did a good job. I would recommend them and use them again. I thought they were a little bit pricey.

Driver was punctual, showed up in uniform. Movers were very professional & courteous. They were very careful with my furniture used blankets & wore pads on feet so as not to get my carpet dirty.

They were an hour and a half late with truck trouble, and no call. Crew was unkempt, unprofessional and lacking in trained skills. No protective back braces nor proper moving equipment was used that would not only make the move go quicker and safer. It would have about protected my home and furnishings. Movers were slacking off job only 2 hours into move and unloading was a disaster. My new home with fresh paint and my furnishings were poorly handled and when brought to attention of mover they threatened to walk off job, owner included who was on site. While offering a review to co-owner, she offered to make things right by sending their handyman to repair work and offer free handyman services. He was untrained as well, broke a family heirloom, didn't fix it and then I got sent a bill!!! The manner in which all work was done was rude and uncommunicative and I was sent a final e-mail that was both insulting and uncalled for.

JACD ARRIVED HALF AN HOUR LATE, BUT CALLED THE MEMBER TO TELL HER OF THE PROBLEM AND THAT WE WOULD CALL BACK WHEN EN ROUTE. OUR MOVERS USED 2 AND 4 WHEEL DOLLIES ALONG WITH BELTS TO PROTECT THE FURNISHINGS AND HOME. PERHAPS THERE IS MISUNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE MEMBERS' & JACD ABOUT JACD 'THREATENING' TO WALK OFF THE JOB. BECAUSE WE FELT SHE WAS DISSATISFIED WITH OUR WORK, WE OFFERED TO OFFLOAD THE CONTENTS OF THE TRUCK IN THE DRIVEWAY AND GARAGE AND TAKE NO FURTHER ACTION IF SHE WISHED. JACD OFFERED TO REPAIR FREE OF CHARGE PAINT ON WALLS THAT WERE NICKED DURING MANEUVERING LARGE ITEMS. WHEN THE JACD OWNER ARRIVED WITH THE HANDYMAN, SHE HAD A "TO DO" LIST, SUCH AS HANGING THINGS UP, MOVING A CEILING FAN, PUTTING IN A GAS LINE FOR A FIREPLACE, ETC. JACD OWNER TOLD HER WE COULD DO THOSE THINGS BUT SINCE THE ITEMS WERE NOT REPAIRS, WE WOULD BILL FOR THE TIME. SHE WAS FINE WITH THAT AND SAID SEND A BILL. AS AN HEIRLOOM WAS PULLED FROM THE BOX, THE TOP PIECE BECAME DETACHED. THE JACD OWNER LOOKED AT IT, PERCEIVED THE PIECE HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY GLUED, AND TOLD HER THE HANDYMAN COULD RE-GLUE IT, WHICH SHE SAID WAS FINE. JACD SENT A BILL FOR THE APPROVED WORK BUT WHEN THE CLIENT RECEIVED IT, SHE CALLED AND SAID SHE WASN'T GOING TO PAY IT. JACD WROTE OFF THE CHARGES. WE SENT AN EMAIL TELLING HER IT IS OUR INTENTION TO DO THE VERY BEST JOB POSSIBLE FOR ALL OUR CLIENTS AND APOLOGIZED THAT OUR SERVICES WERE UNSATISFACTORY.

I sent an email mid week and Lisa Davies called me that evening. I needed the thorough cleaning on short notice, and requested a weekend crew on Saturday morning (for a Sunday afternoon family event at the home). Lisa assured me it was no problem. Lisa arrived at 9am Saturday morning, about 10 minutes before the crew of 4 women showed up. I walked her through the house and we discussed what work would be done. Then she took her crew through and gave them specific details. The workers were there for 3 hours, and did a fantastic job. All were friendly and personable, and no one slacked off on her work. I will definitely use them again!
Description of Work: Thorough house cleaning that was long overdue! Didn't include bedrooms, because they were full of clutter moved from main areas of the house. Crew cleaned floors, baseboards, window and door frames, ceiling fans, dusted furniture, moved all furniture for vacuuming, etc. The house has never looked so good!

My daughter was relocating to another state and had moved her furniture and belongings into a storage unit. She notified me it had to be moved immediately. All companies I called were unavailable or too costly for the short time I had to work within to move. Frank Chambers, Owner, responded quickly, professionally and arrived exactly at the time promised. His employees worked tirelessly and got the job done therefore avoiding additional cost, pain and loss to me. They saved me great deal of heartache as many my daughters childhood memories were stored in that garage, as well as, new furniture she and I had just purchased before her relocating out of state. They not only moved the items, but assisted in arranging/organizing my basement to accommodate the items. This was helpful due to my house being for sale and needing to "look" roomy. When my house sells I will definitely call Just Ask and I know it will be done right!
