Description of Work: Deep cleaning house after we moved out while preparing to put house up for sale. Bathrooms, ceiling fans, walls, woodwork, refrigerator, floors all scrubbed.

Description of Work: I purchased 3 hours of housecleaning with 3 people from an Angies LIst Big Deal, for a total of nine hours of cleaning for $180. 1. I called immediately after making the purchase and left a message on voice mail. Did not hear anything back that day. Called again the next day, nothing. After almost 3 full business days and a weekend in between, I recieved an email from Ms. Davies stating something about being hospitalized and she would call the following day. Although I'm very sorry that Ms. Davies was ill, if it was my business (and I knew I would be rated on Angies List) I would have made other arrangements to let people (who paid upfront) know what was going on. 2.Ms. Davies was pleasant on the phone and very thorough. Iwas pleased that she asked about special requests, preferred products and allergies. We set up an appt for the following week. 3. Ms. Davies called the night before saying that her crew had the flu and we would have to reschedule. She wanted to have her staff come 2 separate times and she offered an extra hour for the inconvenience. It was a nice offer but it was very inconvenient. 4. Her staff came over an hour early and I was not at home. I ran out of Kohl's and rushed home. Again, inconvenient. 5. Lindsey and Stephanie did a good job. However I did not like that they stopped cleaning 15 min early, we did a walk through and she asked me to sign that they had cleaned for 2 hours. I changed the time and signed. I told Lisa and asked that this time be made up on the next visit, but I was not impressed. I don't like feeling that I have to request to be treated fairly. 6. I asked Lisa for an estimate for regular cleans, twice a month. I was told that Lindsey would give that to me after she saw our home. Lindsey's response was that she had no idea how much the company charged, and she also did not know how many hours it would take to clean the first time. She advised me to watch for more BIg Deals and did not give me an estimate. I was amazed, what kind of business turns down potential regular clients? 7. We scheduled the second half of the cleaning for the following Tuesday, I had no idea what time until she called the night before to tell me they would be here from 2:30-4:30. I asked if it was possible they might come early again, Lisa said no - 15 min early at the most. I wanted to make sure I was here. They ended up coming 45 early. I was here but this time was not as convenient for me. 8. This time the cleaning was not quite as good. During the walk though I noticed they forgot a bathroom which she very quickly went over. After I signed and they left, I noticed they did not do the kitchen sink. My fault for not noticing, but still...

Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal for 3 hours of cleaning from 3 people. As requested prior to their arrival, I had prepared a priority list of the items I wanted them to focus on. I showed them the list and asked them to review it for questions while I was standing there with them. They barely looked at it and quickly concluded it was just the same stuff they usually did, which didn't alarm me as that could have very well been the case. When the job was completed and it was time for me to look over the work I wasn't even sure they looked at my priority list. They were nice, just not up to par with my expectations at all.

Description of Work: This was an Angie's list deal, and I took advantage of it in order to have my house cleaned by professionals before my year and a half old granddaughter came to visit for several days. I have two cats and their hair was in every corner. The two ladies cleaned the kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, study and bedroom. Had I straightened the upstairs, they would have cleaned it as well (I"m a writer, and I had books and manuscripts everywhere that had to be moved to the basement). They cleaned all surfaces, inside the microwave, and cleaned all floors by hand (I have wooden floors). They dusted everything. The downstairs bath was spotless when they were done. Everything was.

Description of Work: Vacuuming, dusting throughout house. Three full bathrooms cleaned. The crew moved so quickly and worked simultaneously in three different parts of the house, that I could not recount to you all the methods and materials used. The result was very satisfactory.

Description of Work: I had intended to get some tidying and sorting before the crew came, so they weren't able to work in some areas. Since I am 77 and unable to go up and down ladders very safely, I asked them to concentrate on dusting and cleaning shelves, fan blades, etc., that I couldn't reach from the floor. The crew came fully equipped, on time, and worked fast.. I think they may have cut the time a little short, but they seemed to have done a good job on what I had asked them to do. However, I found a couple of surfaces they missed, but that could have been from some confusion about where to draw the line between what they should do and where to stop. I couldn't monitor all three all the time.
