The staff was so friendly. The team was prompt, courteous, and did an overall great job. I felt completely comfortable having them in my home and would most certainly call them again over any other company around.

I bought a coupon from Deal Chicken for the removal of furniture, about 1/4 of a truckload. Scheduled a date for a couple of days later between 8 and 10 AM. I received a call with an estimated arrival time and the truck arrive promptly on time. My parents have moved into smaller and smaller living arrangements and their extra furniture was moved into my basement along with other leftovers from other family members. Unfortunately some of the furniture had been in a building with another tenant had bedbugs, so this removal had to be handled with extra care. I spoke to Pete the president of the company and he explained all of the additional steps involved in the removal and offered to refund the Deal Chicken coupon. The two workers needed haz mat suits and the load needed to be discarded without recycling,etc. The truck had to be cleaned out afterwards. In other words, there were additional expenses which cost me $200. I didn't like paying extra, but when all was explained I understood that this would be the most environmentally safe. The two workers were friendly and curteous, willing to give 110% to making this a job well done. They eagerly moved each piece, some of which was hidden behind other things that had to be moved. They swept part of the garage and even moved a coffee table upstairs from the garage into the house.

Got a phone call letting me know they were on the way. Very professional and polite. They worked hard and cleaned up thoroughly. I would highly recommend this company.

The people at Junk King were a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. The president, Pete, came to the house to assess the work and provided a free cost estimate, citing a "worst-case" dollar amount. Personally, I like "worst case" estimates for obvious reasons. Pete was extremely professional, well dressed, and a pleasure to do business with. After we settled on an amount for the scope or work to be performed, the crew started that afternoon with the concrete removal. The next morning, the Junk King crew completed breaking up the concrete slabs and completed the removal of all the concrete and stones. Clean up of all four areas was extremely professional. Next, the crew tackled the job of removing all basement debris...a huge undertaking! Following the removal of the two couches, the Junk King crew removed the piano (baby grand). Last, one Junk King crewman completely and very thoroughly cleaned the entire area! A few final remarks: (1) Junk King claims that one of their goals is to recycle at least 50% of what they remove...I now have no doubt that they actually achieve that goal; (2) the crewmen were ALL extremely professional, respectful, and personable; (3) the actual cost of the job turned out to be less than the "worst case" scenario; and (4) I will, without a doubt, use Junk King again in the near future for additional junk removal services.
