Scheduling through the central 800 service was easy. The team of two arrived promptly Saturday morning and went right to work. We reviewed the scope of the job, and one team member confirmed that we had just about 1/6 of a truck load, covered by the Angie's List deal. After hauling concrete blocks, old furniture and just plain stuff from my basement, I pointed to several more items. In the end, we filled 1/4 of the truck. The confirmed that as much as possible, including electronics, is recycled. And in spite of heavy work, the team remained cheerful and professional throughout.

I was very happy with Junk King. Pete called me the day before to confirm, and he was very friendly and just seemed like a good person to do business with. He told me how much it should cost, and that is exactly what I ended up spending. On the day of the appointment, he called me about 45 minutes before the scheduled time and said they were running early and could come any time within the next 45 minutes. I asked him to come in 30 minutes and that is exactly when he showed up. It only took him and his colleague about 15 minutes to remove our items. Such a relief to have them gone! And I was very glad to know that he would be recycling the TV (for an extra $10). It was worth it to me to pay the small extra fee. I would definitely hire Junk King again.

If there's a better way to run a business, I've never seen it. I highly recommend Junk King. The whole operation is run very professionally, and is very customer-service oriented.

The team of two was on time, courteous, helpful (moved a chair from one room to another for me) and neat. I would definitely use this company again. I originally used them because of an Angie's List Big Deal coupon. Glad I found them!

The person I spoke with when I initially called to set my appointment was very professional and knowledgable. They explained pricing and were able to tell me how the overall cost would increase in case we decided to have more items removed than were included in the purchased deal. The gentlemen that came on the day of our appointment were courteous, prompt, and professional. They showed up right on time and quickly got the job done. I will definitely use this business in the future and will tell anyone that needs to have items hauled away to use this business.

I booked the service on line. You pick the day and time from a pop up calendar on their website. They call and confirm the day prior to the appointment. The two man team arrived at the stated time and gave me an estimate prior to starting the job. They had to haul everything either up or down a stairway and many of the items were very bulky and heavy. I felt the price was more than fair considering the work involved. They did an excellent job. I would hire them again.

We purchased one of the Big Deals from AngiesList.com to remove junk left at our home from prior owners. This included chunks of concrete, pressure treated wood, and other large items that could not be easily disposed of in the regular trash. Scheduling over the phone was easy, with many dates and time available. Junk King was scheduled to arrive at 10:00 am. I received a call from the Junk King employees at 9:30 saying that they were running a little bit early, and asking if it would be alright if they arrive 10 minutes earlier than our scheduled time. They were prompt and courteous, showing us how much the 1/6th of a truck we purchased would fill the truck. After making sure we understood, we showed them the items we needed to be removed. They asked questions to ensure what items took priority (we had more than the 1/6th of a truck) and wanted to ensure they didn't take anything we wanted to keep. They worked quickly and efficiently. Before they left, they gave us a coupon for future services. I would highly recommend Junk KIng.

My husband called the Junk King number. They were very easy to talk to and straight forward about pricing if there was more wood then mentioned in the coupon.. The truck with workers showed up at the exact time we requested and not only took away our old wood deck but also the concrete patio .. It was all and all a pleasant experience. The Junk King crew didn't leave one piece of the deck material behind. We are very happy with the work they did and would recommend them to anyone needing haul away services. Muriel Foster

I called Junk King on Monday for an estimate - which they did that day. The price was good, and they were able to schedule the job that same week. The crew was prompt and professional, and they were even able to maneuver their truck down our winding driveway to the back of the house. All & all a great experience.

There were 2 men that came to pick up my junk. They were prompt and very professional.They even swept up the area where junk was removed. It was a great experience.

They exceeded my expectations.

Scheduling was very easy through an central service, and the woman on the phone talked with me about how much stuff we had. It's hard to estimate, but she asked how many regular pick up trucks worth of stuff we had. The guys were scheduled for between 1 and 3 on Saturday, and they called about 1/2 hour before coming, and showed up on time (1 pm). We did a walk through of the garage and basement and one bedroom that had a bed frame in it, and they estimated how much room in the truck it would take. We had the Angie's List Big Deal for 1/6 truck, and they gave us the credit for that and then just charged the difference for what we had, which ended up being about 1/2 truck. They were quick, and separated out the items they can't take (chemicals, paint, etc.) and then let me know who to contact to have those items picked up also. they also told us that most of what we had would be donated or recycled, which was nice, and even mentioned a few places they donate to. All in all, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely use them again.

They did a great job. They showed up on time, were polite, and efficient. I noticed they just kind of threw everything in the truck, which included some possibly reusable furniture. In the future if I decide to use their service I would most likely just donate reusable items, but other than that I was very pleased with their service.

After I purchased the Big Deal, the owner Peter McCreary called me to introduce himself and see if I had any questions, which I thought was especially nice. We recently had concrete work done and had the old broken concrete left to clean up ourselves. I called last week to schedule a pick up and was given several days from which to choose. The scheduler was very professional and friendly. Peter McCreary called this morning to let me know they were on their way. He and Jay Ford arrived at the scheduled time. They were professional and friendly. Their Junk King truck was especially shiny and clean, considering they pick up junk all day! They loaded up the concrete, as well as some scrap wood that was left from the previous owners. When complete, they swept the area clean, gave me a Junk King magnet, business card, and receipt. Peter McCreary did say that Angie's List members are some of the nicest customers he has. (Thank you very much!) They're a great company with whom to do business. I would definitely recommend them.

Arrived as promised and upon looking at what needed to be removed, provided me an estimate that, with the Angie's List discount coupon (15% off) brought the whole job down to $300. Very professional manner and they did the job well and quickly. Only negative is that $300 is a bit high for this kind of work.

Called ahead of time as requested, were sitting in their truck waiting for me when I arrived, showed the lead worker around pointing out what I wanted done. They then went ahead and completed the service ordered. Great job!

Justin and his associate came to haul away some braches and leaves in my backyard. They had to make a second trip on another day and came back promtly and sorted through and made piles so it could all be disposed of properly. They cleaned up any traces that they had even been there before leaving. Justin discussed at the beginning what he would be doing and also before they left made sure that I was completely satisfied

Both gentlemen were courteous and professional. They took away more than I expected and made the whole experience very easy.
