Junk King Cincinnati

Everything went well. They cleared out all the things in the basement on Saturday, September 7th and then scheduled to return for the other work on Tuesday, September 10th. They gave us an estimate on clearing out the basement + clearing out an old chicken house/shed in the back + tearing it down. Although they couldn't get extra help on Saturday, they scheduled the clear out of the chicken house and tear down of it on Tuesday for the total price on all the work for just under $1,000.00. Although they estimated a larger job than we had planned, it was just a suggestion on their part - there was no high pressure sales to do more. The workers were personable and hard working (I couldn't believe how they handled some really heavy stuff and worked steadily from start to finish). As scheduled, they returned (with 3 workers to clear out the chicken house and tear it down to the cement slab underneath. It was not as easy as they thought it would be - we all thought the chicken house would go down with just a few hits of the sledge hammer. We are very pleased with their work and their responsiveness to our needs, regarding time when they could return, etc. We would definitely use them again. They even swept up the basement after they hauled things out.The estimates were accurate and they returned, as requested, to finish the job that couldn't be done in a single afternoon. Overall, they spent 5 hours working on the various jobs. The yard looks so much better now without that old shed in the back yard. Although they didn't clear out the nails left over from the tear down, they warned us about that and told us what we'd need to get (a $10 tool from Home Depot) to help us go over and pick up the nails in the yard. We would definitely hire them again.

I contacted Junk King via their web site and received a call bag promptly regarding hauling away our old 6-person hot tub. They gave a ballpark estimate over the phone, set up an appointment that was convenient for me that same week. The 3 guys arrived on time, used a saws-all to cut up the hot tub and get it into the back of their large truck. It was heavy, awkward and needed to go down some stone steps - very glad I didn't try to do this myself. I think they did a nice job, the price was reasonable, and I'm glad to be rid of the old thing. I'd use them again. Plus I got a discount for mentioning Angie's list.

They came out and were very nice. They meticulously took it apart and were very neat. They did everything right. Even thought we had to pay them it was worth every penny. They were very professional.

I contacted Junk King (at 888-888-Junk) on Monday, August 5, 2013 in the morning and spoke with the receptionist (very friendly) about the work I wanted to have done. When I explained that the treehouse was on stilts she was unsure if Junk King could remove the stilts from the ground. She gave me the name and phone number of the President and Owner for my area, he was very professional, friendly and took the time to explain how they would handle the work. He stated he would be able to remove the treehouse on stilts from the ground. I proceeded and made an appointment on Monday, August 5, 2013 and Junk King came out the next day Tuesday, August 6th with a 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm time frame (they were punctual at 4:00 pm). The owner came along with two younger gentlemen, gave me an estimate (along with a 15% Discount since I was an Angie's List member). I agreed to the estimate and they started work immediately tearing down the treehouse and swing and hauling it to the truck. I found out during the process that the treehouse on stilts was not cemented into the ground. The whole process (tearing down and hauling) took about 30-35 minutes. They cleaned up all of the debris, nails from the grass (from the treehouse) and swept up my driveway to make sure any loose nails were not left behind. I was very impressed with their service and will definitely contact Junk King in the future.

They worked quickly and carefully. The workers were professional and neat. We bought the $100 deal but needed more items removed; it was not a big deal to haul more than what I purchased. Junk King is a professional company and they did an excellent job. I would use them again and highly recommend their services.

It went great. The team was so professional and friendly. They worked efficiently and left everything clean and tidy.

Gave the local office a call and asked about details to remove one couch. They quoted me the minimum price, which for just one piece of furniture I thought wasn't worth it at the time, but I understand why they have a minimum cost associated and have no problem with this. The gentleman on the phone totally understood where I was coming from and proposed a few solutions and even gave me the names and numbers of a few non profits that might pick up the couch for me. Even though this job did not pan out, I appreciated the time and attention I was given on the phone which showed to me they have good customer service. In the future if I have a larger amount of items that need to go and it's cost effective, I will be giving these guys a call.

We were contacted by the city that we had to remove loose cement blocks from our wall. We had been wanting to do this but since it is considered construction material you have to know where to take the blocks to get rid of them. My husband has heard their advertisement on the radio so when I found them on Angie's list and saw their high rating we called them. This was around 11 am. They said they could be there that day between 2 and 4. Pete McCreary the owner even called to be sure they understood what we needed. Two men showed up around 2:30 with a truck. They talked to us and we told them what we needed done. They started working right away and within 1/2 hr they were finished. They even swept up some debris and left the area perfect. We were very pleased with the response time and the quality of work. If we ever have a project similar to this we will not hesitate to use them.

I bought an Angie's list "Big Deal" for junk removal. The cost ended up being $220 for a $398 job. They were prompt, professional, went right to work and knocked it out with a quickness. not to mention that they were nice guys. I am very satisfied and will use them again for sure!

at first not too well. They tried to charge me $300 for 2/3 of a truck removal, plus my big deal certicate. I spoke to the owner who came by to view the work. He said it should have about 1/2 a truckload less my certificate. He performed the service himself and did a good job. He was very customr service oriented.

The job could not have gone smoother. I thought it was going to be very tricky for two men to remove this old, heavy hot tub. The area was cramped and around the back of the house. It proved to be no problem for Junk King's guys. They spent an hour and a half on the job, and the area was spotless when they left. During the course of the removal, they lifted the tub on its side and found two snakes underneath. They chased the snakes away and kept working like it was no big deal. I was prepared for it to cost upwards of $400, but they quoted me a price of $258 before they began and that's what they stuck to. NOTE: Tip these guys! I tipped them well, and they were very appreciative. They said they don't often get tipped, and if they do, it's just a few dollars. Considering that these guys worked way harder than most restaurant servers, I was happy to tip them the same percentage I tip servers.

Very quick and simple. Guys were great and services were met.

Wow -- they did it! They showed up exactly when they said they would - at 8:30 AM both days. They worked until the end of the day - close to 6 that evening. An earlier estimate based on actual inspection put the total bill at 10 trucks, $538 each, but they packed it all into 8 trucks. Their crews worked very hard, very efficiently, and they kept the atmosphere energetic and light, despite the depressing nature of so much junk. I attribute that to Bea, the woman who ran the second half of the job. A great experience for me. I was concerned that (a) they might injure themselves, but they worked the job to prevent that; (b) that the trucks might drive away less than full, but they were tightly packed to the gills; (c) that lots of recyclable material might go to the landfill, but they kept two trucks in the driveway, using one for everything recyclable, and the other for junk. I never want to have to empty a fifty-year-old basement again, but if I do, I will definitely bring them back!

Easy to schedule, very polite. Arrived promptly, removed items quickly. Were a pleasure to work with, would hire again!

Called them after another company, did not call me back. They were called on a friday and came the next day. They were suppose to be here between 11am & 1pm, but called and asked if they could come early, 10am. The whole thing took about 10 min. Nice guys. Friendly did a good job. I am glad I had them do the job. And I will use them again.

Gave accurate estimate over the phone, arrived on time, completed task in 1 1/2 hours and did it professionally and in good cheer. Explained additional services and offered a discount on future job. Will use them again. Very happy with them.

Junk King Cincinnati was really good. They were prompt and thorough. They cleaned up after themselves. They had everything they needed with them. They were very professional. They answered the phone when I called to make an appointment.

They showed up when they said they would and did the work. The truck was small than I thought it'd be and I went over the amount of the big Deal by a lot. The entire truck was filled rather quickly. Would I use them again? Maybe if there's an incentive.

Men came on time asked about the job charged me additional price even though they only had to move less than a half a load. Asked to dispose of only a few items. They did wrap the mattress even through I provided the plastic.

Junk King Cincinnati was phenomenal. They were efficient and they showed up on time. Couldn't been any pleasant. If have to remove junk again I wouldn't think about somebody else except them.
