Description of Work: They painted our very high foyer and hallways, and one bedroom where there was wallpaper that was coming loose in spots beneath a layer of paint. John gave us a couple of ways to deal with the paper/paint mess, and was able to help us get a professional finish without it costing an arm and a leg. He also fixed plaster in various locations, before painting. The plasterwork looks like new, can't tell it was repaired/patched at all. The painting is very well done, smooth, good lines along the ceiling, no splashes on wood work. All around a great job at a very good price. Would definitely hire John again.

 + -1 moreJonathan brought color samples & several decorative finish samples to the initial evening meeting. He toured the work area, measured and suggested several wall repairs in the stairwell that would be reasonably accessible when painting. He defined the space from the walls required for him to complete his work. The estimate was separated between paint and labor. He offered color suggestions & said he could get helpers to move furniture if needed. For the second meeting, he wanted to meet in daylight to confirm colors and the intensity of the decorative work. Several completed 30x30 inch decorative samples were available in the color range for review. He also wanted to be sure that pictures, rugs, & draperies would be the same to complement the work. We agreed on completion date & price. We had good references and confidence that our condo would be secure and safe. Jonathan checked in with the next door neighbor, to confirm where his truck was parked & to introduce himself. They appreciated his consideration. We returned before holidays to appreciate quality workmanship and attention to detail. The decorative painting is a vibrant accent to the living room area, the repaired walls remain 'pop-free'. Floors & sinks were left clean, remaining paints labeled and stored in the basement. This was a good experience. We appreciate Jonathan's talent and professional service and would highly recommend his workmanship.
Description of Work: We have a 20+ year old 2 bedroom condo in need of wall repairs and interior paint 'face-lift". We wanted decorative painting as a living room accent. Work was to be done while we were out-of-town.
