Jonathan Anderson Custom Painting is an owner operated high quality interior painting company with the owner involved in every step of the painting process. With over 35 years of painting experience, we have the knowledge and expertise to work with you to obtain the right color for your particular room you would like to paint. Throughout our 22 years experience of decorative painting, we have learned the importance of light and the way in which it impacts the colors of your walls and ceilings. With this in mind, we offer color consultations to ensure the color you want, is the color you will receive no matter the type of light entering the room. We take the time to do the job right the first time. We paint with integrity and value, treating each paint job as though we are painting our own homes.

I am pleased with the finished work. I appreciated that Johnathan did the parts that I needed help with, but allowed me to do what I could do to reduce the cost. He also helped me with recommendations for paint brand and types and painting supplies.

It is tough for me to find a painter that meets my expectations but Jonathan and his assistant certainly did. They are meticulous painters and pay attention to the little details that really matter. They showed up as scheduled and the job was finished on time. I will definitely use them again.

Jonathan Anderson is an absolute delight of a person and true professional as a painter. He makes painstaking efforts to attend to every detail. He offers professional opinions without being at all pushy, and asks and gets confirmation before adding any work to the order. His work is impeccable. Janet, who works with him, is warm and friendly and a hard worker. They did a fantastic job in our 1870s house, which required significant plaster repair, wallpaper removal, and a very large painting job. I will absolutely hire him again for the next painting job in our home.

This is the second time that we hired Jonathan after we were very pleased with the house interior and exterior painting job that he did in 2017 for our second home here in Cincinnati. We bought finally our primary home here in Cincinnati, OH. The front door needed help because it was looking worn out by being exposed to the sun through many years. The renovation of the front door went very well. My husband and I are both pleased on the detailed and careful steps that Jonathan did to make our front door look great again. Please look at the finished product. You will agree with us that Jonathan did a gorgeous work on our front door. Thanks, Jonathan! Our friends do agree that you did a gorgeous job on our front door. He is very personable and trustworthy. I felt comfortable having him in my home while I was out and about. He has many years of experience and he genuinely cares about your satisfaction. He even patched up a couple dents in the ceiling that were not part of his job. He got the job done fairly quickly on his own when he usually has a helper with him. I am a very satisfied customer and I wish Jonathan all the best. I couldn't have asked to hire a nicer man.

It went very well as expected!!! It is an excellent and quality job as his interior painting for our house. Jonathan told me that exterior painting is not his forte because it is interior painting. However, he delivered an excellent and quality job on the interior painting project of mine, so I figured that I should ask him to do the exterior painting as well. He accepted gladly the job. He texted me before and after pictures of the work and I am deeply impressed. He helped me in the color choice for the front door and back door. He presented choices that complimented the existing brick color. To make the story short, I ended up with a better color than my initial choice. He suggested that I paint the front window shutters white and not the same color as the front door because it will just be lost in the color of the brick. He was right about it! This is the quality of Jonathan that I like a lot in his work. He is open to make inputs to make things better looking. He is nice and totally professional in making his inputs. That is admirable of him! He determined items that needed to be done to make things look better inside the house, too. He made me aware of the mess that was done by previous painters and it needed cleaning to make things look better. He and Joshua cleaned several areas and surely enough things look better. Thank you both for spending a lot of time doing it without charging me the extra labor for additional hours to do it. Once again THANK YOU, Jonathan and Joshua for a work well done and delivering once more a truly quality work!!!

Jonathan & Joshua delivered an excellent interior painting job. As promised by Jonathan, he delivered a high quality work. Last March 27, 2017, Jonathan submitted his bid for the work. I thought that he did a fair pricing for the job, thus I awarded him the work. And on April 3, he and Joshua started work and finished it on April 7, 2017. These are qualities of Jonathan that I did appreciate most sincerely: 1. He was highly professional. 2. He was very accommodating. He responded quickly to phone calls, text messages and emails. 3. He took personal ownership in his work to the extent that he made suggestions along the way to make things look better in the house. He went outside the scope of work that I originally submitted, to make things look right and good in the house. I did like that because he cared enough to tell me what was wrong or what is better to do and what needs to be done about it. His input/feedback brought value to the work at hand. 4. He recommended Benjamin Moore paint and that was what was used. 5. Jonathan was very easy to work with and most helpful. I had a good rapport with him. 6. I felt that I could trust Jonathan which is important for me. I was working with someone whom I've never met before and who is working on my projects for the very first time. A trusting relationship was established. I am very pleased with their work (Jonathan & Joshua) that I awarded them the work to do the exterior painting of the house, too. The exterior painting is also a total re-do of the exterior of the house. THANKS, JONATHAN & JOSHUA FOR DELIVERING AN EXCELLENT & QUALITY INTERIOR PAINTING JOB! I AM TRULY GRATEFUL!

I gave Jonathan a call and asked about getting it done within the next couple of days, He gave me a fair estimate over the phone and came the next day. It was finished within about 5 hours to my complete satisfaction. He and his assistant were professional and courteous. I would definitely hire them again if the need arose.

Very well. I initially had contracted just for the walls and ceilings in the bedroom and hall and just the ceiling in the family room. On the second day of painting I asked if he had a job in the next few days and since he didn't he was happy to paint the walls in the family room. I used Behr Marquee paint

We have so much love for this company. They came in our home and transformed our house to a warm and bright home. Jonathan and Joshua were like members of the family while they were here. I only made one change of my color. Entirely my fault and Jonathan was so nice and helpful when I was having a meltdown on my judgement. They are honest, hardworking, and lots of fun to be around. We contacted Jonathan at a short notice and had a limited time frame to get the work done. He made special arrangements for us to make the schedule fit. #BESTPAINTEREVER!!! Jonathan Anderson was a class act from beginning of project to completion. I admit that I am a tough customer to satisfy and expect the best from anyone I hire to complete a project for me. I am completely satisfied with all of the work that Jonathan and his associate completed. They were punctual, professional, and fortunately lacked the "creepiness" that many hired hands display. He provided me with an accurate estimate in the beginning and completed all tasks above and beyond expectation. My father was so impressed with the job done at my house that he promptly called Jonathan to arrange a painting project at his house. You won't go wrong if you hire Jonathan for your painting needs... in fact you will be pleased beyond expectation!!!
