They never showed up and said that I didn't answer the phone. I was home all day waiting. They said someone would come by in the afternoon and no one showed up.

I had to miss two days work instead of one due to an issue with one of their employees. It was not their fault. Their service was good and I would use them again.

Plumber was on time and repaired all requested.

My main drain line was clogged and backing up into my basement. Called a couple of other AL plumbers late on 3/11/13 and they were backed up with sump pump calls from the rains. Called Jim Eckhoff Plumbing this morning said they might be able to get someone to us at noon today but would call at 1130AM if there were issues with sending someone. They called back just before 1PM saying someone was on their way. Eric got here at roughly 120PM and got straight to work. He ran a snake a couple of times and solved the problem. Considering it was same day, I didn't have any issues with the time they arrived. Very pleased with the work.

The company came out to do a quick repair on a Sunday and then returned for the permanent fix on a different day. They are so helpful and knowledgeable and super professional.

One of my copper pipes in the basement was leaking. When Jim looked at it I asked him to look at the rest of the pipes. He did this and discovered corrosion on the rest of the pipes. I asked him for his opinion on the type of plumbing material to use and an estimate to replace most of the pipes. He gave me his opinion to use Pex Pipe which he has used successfully for many years. He also gave me a ballpark figure on the cost. Eric and another man did the replacement. Eric also installed extra shut off valves for my icemaker line and humidifier. During the time the work was done, Eric noticed a sizzling sound in one electrical outlet. The secretary in Jim's office referred me to an electrician. The electrician came immediately to fix the outlet. A couple of days later I noticed a drip from a pipe that was not replaced. Eric came out to cap the pipe. The total price was within the estimate. I am pleased with the the plumbers and the quality of the work.

They were able to schedule a last minute appointment. Worker was on time and very professional and knowledgeable.

Excellent communication with the office when I called to make an appointment. I received a call when the plumber was on his way. Eric was extremely professional and walked the talk - he said he treats customers' houses like his own home. He kept the job site clean and minimized his impact on the bathroom. He listened to my diagnosis and went from there, rather than simply starting from scratch as some would do. I could tell that he and the office staff have a lot of integrity, and I will work with them again when I have need of plumbing repair. The price was right.

Plumber was on time and even a little early. He was friendly and professional. He answered any questions I had about the drain.

While helping my elderly mother in her bathroom I noticed drippage on the floor under her toile Sadly when I was wiping it up I felt a drip and reached up to one of the nuts under the tank and when I touched it water started flowing not just dripping :( Next I discovered the water cut off valve was stuck so the best I could do was flush the toilet and block the tank workings from refilling. Thankfully one of my friends recommended Jim Eckhoff Plumbing and from my phone call to them I got outstanding response and service. My phone call voice message was returned quickly and the service technician called to get an assessment of the situation and gave me his estimated time of arrival. He called back about 20 minutes before his target time to let me know he was on his way. He examined the toilet tank and water cut off with his recommendation for repair including replacement of the toilet tank bolts, washers, and nuts. I requested that he also replace the water cutoff so I would not have to use the whole house water cutoff in the future should her toilet have an additional problem. He completed the work in less than an hour and left the bathroom in much better working condition. Mom and I were thrilled with his plumbing service and friendly personality while solving our problem.

I was surprised by a sewerage leak in my basement. After being told by several companies that they were too busy to get to me that same day, Jim Eckhoff Plumbing promised to send someone that same afternoon. He arrived promptly, ascertained the problem ( a clog in the outtake pipe), unstopped it and a toilet upstairs, and was finished in 1/2 hour. All with a smile and good advice.

We called Mr. Eckhoff's phone service and within 30 minutes we received a call from one of his partners. plumber Kelly. He obtained directions and was here shortly after. Kelly assessed the situation and quickly repaired it using a snake. The blockage was cleared. He was professional and knew what he was talking about. The job was cleaned up in no time and we were back on track for the rest of our afternoon. I recommended the company to my mom, who also used the service and was happy with the several jobs she needed completed.

Our next door neighbor had to have a similar service at the same time, obtained an estimate for Eckhoff and showed it to us. We also asked him for an estimate, and were impressed by Jim's straightforward explanation of the work required and the cost. All went as expected.

it went well, very well. next time i won't try to fix something myself and call right away, not wait until its broke at 8pm.

I trust them and I feel safe having them in my home. They don't aggressively try to sell me anything and they helped me trouble shoot before I have to replace anything. I could probably find somebody cheaper but I'm paying for quality.

This is the fourth time we have utilized the services of Eckhoff, and again I cannot fault them. Jim, the owner, was very honest during his initial visit to price the job, informing me what did and didn't require updating The plumber, Joe, turned up on time on the day the work was scheduled to commence and was able to complete everything on the list in that one day, saving me a considerable amount on the bid estimate Joe cleaned up behind himself in each and every area he worked in, often going above and beyond what was absolutely necessary, not even batting an eyelid to immediately rectify a problem I had spotted just as he was leaving the premises Very honest, professional and efficient approach from start to finish, just as all contractors should be.

Very pleased with this company. Prices for both regular and emergency hours are very competitive. Both the plumbers and the office staff were very helpful.
