We got them off the list. We spent about $1200 on the last service. They had to change all the spark plugs, but they found that they could get three of them out and could not get one out because it was too tightly put in. They could not get it out without partially damaging the head. It could have been that the previous people put them too tightly and that one could become an issue over time.
Description of Work: I started using Honda East for auto service in early summer. The last time I used them was probably about a month ago for general overall maintenance, changing ball joints, replacement of a seal and battery, tire rotation and it was 30,000 maintenance and three other things.

They charged me $20000 for the car. I negotiated with them for a good price. However, at the time, they charged me $250 towards document fees. Their insurer justified the cost. I almost walked out. I was very annoyed with them. Their service was very good, though. They were very punctual. I deal with them all the time and I will continue to do so in the future.

I dropped my mower off on a monday for a tune up, Late on Thursday I got a call telling me it was ready to pick up. The did everything they said they would do, for the price quoted. Made me very happy.
Description of Work: Mower Tune Up. Sharpened the blades,changed the oil, changed the plugs, changed the filter, udjusted throttle cables , cleaned under the deck. Made my mower run like new again :)

I called and had my lawnmower picked up for the yearly maintenence. I was told it would be $65.00. I received a call 2 days later telling me the mower had a transmission that was going to go out and it needed new tires. I could not believe it because the mower worked fine the day they took it. The mower is only 5 years old and we paid $600.00 for it. I went out to see the mower and talk to the manager. She told me that they could not adjust the speed of the mower in the lower gear and that while the mower works it will go out. I understood and asked if they could help me with the price because the repair would be over $300. I expected to have a $600 mower last more than 5 years. She gave me the name of a women at the corporate headquarters and told me to call and ask her to comp the part and I would pay the labor. I called Teresa and couldn't talk to her so I left a message. It took over a week for her to call me back and she left a message. I called her back and got her recorder and left a message. It took another week for her to call and leave me another message. By this time it was going on 2 weeks and my grass was very high. I still had not taked with Teresa. I called and asked to speak with her boss, Dan Montgomery. I got his answering machine and left a message. It has been over a month and I have never received a call back. The same day I called her boss Teresa decided she could talk to me in person. She told me I have to understand they are busy and that Honda will not help with the part and that I should understand that transmissions go out. They would not help me period. I asked her, if she paid $600 for a lawn mower and it lasted 5 years would she find that acceptable. She never would answer the question. I decided to have Honda do the routine service and keep the transmission I have because the mower was working. I have the mower back and it is working great with the orginal trasmission and wheels. The local manager at Honda East also failed to return my phonecalls but discounted my service bill because she at least felt bad. I will continue to use the mower as is. I have my doubts as to whether this mower needs a new transmisson and I will always wonder if they were trying to run my bill up. The mower is working great. I am still infuriated over the way Teresa at the corporate headquarters treated me. Her boss, Dan Montgomery should be fired because as a manager he should know better than to ignore a customers request for a call back when there is a problem. I hope Angie's List calls this to the attention of Honda Power Equipment Corporate Headquarters. I will never have this company service my mower again.

I've never liked bickering with them, but we got what we wanted. We spent two to three hours looking at the car and coming up with a deal. I've never liked that part of buying a car, but I guess that's part of the deal. Still, they were okay.

We have used this company a million times because they do such a good job. I like the convenience of the location and that they know the vehicles very well.

They are very courteous and professional. They always put paper in the floor of the cars so that they don't get any of the upholstery dirty. The do their best, and if it's not the way we want it they will take it back and do it again. On this occasion they did a good job replacing a few things, and their service is excellent. They wash the car after servicing. It's done pretty quickly as well; we usually can wait for it.

I arrived at my appointment time and was cordially greeted by the service manager. My car was quickly checked in and I retreated to the customer service waiting area. Paper floor mats were used to protect my floor mats. The waiting area was inviting- clean with plenty of reading material and cable TV. Within 30 minutes the manager advised that my car was ready. The payment window was conveniently located in the waiting room. I rendered payment at which time my discount coupon was honored. I retrieved my car and was on my way.
Description of Work: I took my 2006 Honda Accord to Honda East for a scheduled oil change. I was not aware of any other service needs. I had purchased the car at this dealer.

I used the internet to create a preferred list of new car dealers who had the type and color of the Honda Accord I wanted to purchase. I received an 'internet quote' from Honda East which was favorable and proceeded to the dealer. The sales person was very friendly and answered all my questions. I agreed on a final price and loan terms. The car was 'prepped', and the salesperson reviewed with me how to operate all the vehicle's options. I left the dealer with my new car within 2 hours of my initial arrival. Since the sale, my salesperson has frequently contacted me to make sure that I am still pleased with my vehicle and if I had any questions about its operation.
