I had big, big plans for a small bathroom and Brian didn't disappoint; he was a joy to work with and a pleasure to be around. My bathroom had to be gutted from the ceiling to the floor, and I wanted to go from a shower/tub combo with a closet, to a walk-in shower with a half wall, pedestal bathtub and 5 foot vanity - all in a 8' x 6.5' space. Brian was amazingly innovative when faced with a challenge, and believe me, with such a tight fit, there were many, many challenges! I don't know if we share the same taste or if he's just that intuitive, but he created exactly what I envisioned. I now have a bathroom that would look at home in any Indian Hill mansion - my only regret is that I didn't take his advise to install a pocket door. That way you could see inside the entire bathroom as you walk by....it's that beautiful.

If you are looking for impeccable quality and professionalism, Bryan is your guy. From start to finish, he was responsive, on time, courteous and professional. His attention to detail is really incredible. We have a 100 year old home, and he took every measure to perfectly match the woodwork and craftsmanship of the home. He is a skilled woodworker too, and every detail was just beautiful. In the future, Hogeland will be the only company we call for renovation work. We got 3 quotes for the job, and Hogeland was priced very fairly and accurately. Bryan was SO clean, took the time to baby-proof before leaving, and even let our dog out each day! We totally trusted him in our home and have already recommended him to friends and family. Honestly, it's hard to find someone who is so highly skilled, honest, clean and prompt. We have worked with other construction companies before, and they don't hold a candle to the experience and quality we got with Hogeland. Highly recommend.

Bryan was the first to call me back and was so responsive, taking the time to talk to me about the install over the phone. He was also one of the few people who would even accept the job because it required getting this heavy door up a flight of stairs and even though it was not a high-paying job. I ended up not going with him through no fault of his (long story), but I thought he deserves a shout out on Angie's list for the fact that he was the most responsive person out of a long list of people I called. I can see why this man has a Super Service Award!

You can stop right now. Bryan is the guy you want. We had a bathroom in a 100 yr old house that was built over an empty crawl space that was open to the elements. Our pipes froze twice in two years. The second time the plumbers couldn’t fix the leak (even though they charged us like they did). We talked to specialized contractors to get their ideas. We tried for a year to get a GC to fix it, but none of them thought the project was big enough. Bryan got back to us quickly and came and gave us a quote. A simple-ish project of a bathroom rehab turned into a complicated mess of demo, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, insulation, and hammer-drilling a hole in our 2 ft foundation. Bryan gave us a reasonable quote and assured us that he would be able to complete all the work himself (with his guy, which is a great story in itself) without subcontracting. Bryan was amazing. As a person he is helpful, friendly, trustworthy, and courteous. As a professional he is very qualified. He gave us advice on what we might want. He was very responsive to my wife’s questions... my wife’s very, very detailed questions. Also, my wife wants me to point out how clean and organized he was. Messes inevitable to demo were cleaned up before EOB. He left us little notes about his progress, too. I was a little concerned about letting a contractor into my house for several weeks, but I had the ability to work from home while he was here. Bryan was cool and not intrusive, and he took my work schedule into account when it came to drilling through the wall! By the end of the first week, I didn’t think about leaving the house and trusting him to be there alone. What makes Bryan unique in the contracting world is that he really does care. When he demo’ed our bathroom, he determined that he needed to replace the subfloor, which wasn’t a part of the contract. After he pulled up the subfloor, he found that one side of the bathroom was an inch lower than the other side. He shimmed the joists of an old house so that it was level and plumb in such a way that the new tile floor would not crack. He also added a new light over the shower that wasn’t in the contract just because it made sense and that was what he would want (and it didn’t cost us any). On top of all this Bryan did a fantastic job! The bathroom is beautiful and he respected our desire to reuse some of the existing fixtures to keep our budget within reason. I wouldn’t be sad if you don’t call him, because I want him to fix all of my things!

The overall experience was great. Bryan, the owner is on the site daily. communication is outstanding.The site was kept clean and the finished result is awesome. The company is very professional, and small enough to give individual attention to your project

Bryan Hogeland is the best contractors I've ever worked with. "Going the extra mile" is such a cliche' but it is a reality for Bryan. He took special care with every detail even adding additional support in our attic to support the chandelier I wanted hung. Every single thing looks perfect. I will hire him again.

Fantastic. Quick, cleaned up every day and bathroom is super. New floor, shower replacement, new toilet, new vanity, new medicine cabinet, exhaust fan, gfi outlet and painting.

This went very well. Contacted Bryan Thursday, he came out on Friday, had quote on Saturday and executed contract Sunday as we had to leave town. Work began that Tuesday and was completed the following Thursday which included the complete demo of the old bath and installing all new materials. Bryan was extremely professional and personalble. He was always on time and if he was going to be delayed he contacted us to explain what was happening (typically it was picking up materials for that days tasks). Bryan always kept us informed of progress and plans for what would happen next. He was impeccable in cleaning up at the end of the day and at the end of the job. The best.

It went well, all my questions and request were met and never did I feel my request and wishes were a problem. When the work was finished I received phone calls, inquiries as to my happiness with the job. I didn't feel like a number.

The crew were on time the day they they were scheduled to start. They were extremely efficient, competent, professional. The work was flawless. They were clean and tidy , kept the job site clean and safe.

We chose a very difficult "woven" patterned tile that was too difficult for me to install on my own. Bryan spent many painstaking hours making sure each piece fit well for an absolutely seamless and beautiful finished product. He arrived when promised, and was very quiet, polite, and professional. He even did a few other odds-and-ends favors around the kitchen to help me with future projects. If you want a project done right by someone who truly cares about their work, Bryan is definitely your guy!

Mr. Hogeland was on time, dependable, trustworthy, efficient, detail oriented, aesthetically aware and quality oriented. He made good use of his time and did excellent work! I can't say enough about his work ethic and eye for detail. He's also a good problem solver. Lastly, he cleans up the work space well and protects work surfaces. I highly recommend him! I have more work to do on the house and will definitely hire him again.

2003 Furnace and Hot Water Tank Enclosure (Basement Remodel) The finished job was beautiful. Constructed floor to ceiling walls around the furnace and water heater - creating a room approximately 6.5 ft x 11 ft which not only closed in those appliances but also created more storage space. He hung a set of folding doors and a standard door. 2013 Pipe Replacements The job went very well. It was done in a very timely manner. He was always on the job when he said he would. He was careful to take care of the things he was hired to do. He left the area clean and neat and had removed all debris. Most importantly, Bryan is extremely trustworthy. I was very comfortable with leaving him with either a key to the house or leaving him in my house while I was out. I would without a moment's hesitation recommend Bryan Hogeland for any project. In addition, even though he has only done for me the jobs I've mentioned above I have seen many other projects he's performed and they have been great. Thank you.

he did everything and more to make our home more livable and looking good. A few things were made better than original item, such as plumbing. I have used him in putting doors, drywall and painting, electrical updates.

Beautiful detailed work! High quality and precise! We have an ok home,originally built on late 1800's. They were able to make various rooms look great even with various challenges that come with such an old home. Challenges such as settled ceilings that aren't necessarily perfectly straight, as well as some uneven spots in flooring. The room looks great!! My kitchen looks great as well! Modernized an old home and increased its overall value.
