Help Plumbing Heating Cooling and Electric

I have been a member with them for many years. I have a membership type thing with them and they did it for free every 6 months. Check the A/C and check the heating. They're good.

It all went fine. We use HELP for taking care of our furnace, our boiler, our AC, and our plumbing. We have a membership with them, which works very well for us. Recently, knowing HELP's prices were higher than elsewhere, I tried looking up other places on Angie's List. I finally came back to HELP, higher prices and all, because I can count on them to fix things..... and to come back time and time again if it wasn't fixed right the first time (which sometimes happens with the best of repairmen). I realized the higher prices reflect the good training, the responsiveness, the professionalism, their good manners, their cleanliness, and their willingness to go all out to make things right for you and your home.

They were outrageously expensive. The only reason I wouldn't use them again is because I'm not going to pay twice what a water heater costs. They were fine. Very professional and nice. They put stuff down to protect the carpet.

It took 2 days for the work to be completed. 3 or 4 people came to do the work. The workers were very nice and they left the area very clean.

They installed the HVAC unit in one day, were neat, professional etc. We did not buy the cheapest unit, it was middle of the road. At first we were pleased with the A/C but within less than a year problems started cropping up. The unit start to leak a lot of water in a steady stream. Turns out when they installed the unit they erroneously locked the manual inside the unit and it was part of the problem. The gentleman also stated when they installed the pan, the techs tilted it the wrong way and didn't allow water to drain properly. They actually tried to charge me a service call for this problem. Also, within the first year the unit stopped cooling the house below 76. Denzel came out and explained the copper tubing used for these units was found to be defective and small pin holes were created allowing freon to escape and therefore not cooling properly. They installed a new unit which was very commendable except that the same problem existed with the copper tubing and holes. Within another year we had the same problem and called a different HVAC contractor to fix this. The HVAC unit from Help cost us $8000 plus. A different guy came to repair the toilet leak. He took it apart and discovered it had the wrong flange. He left at 5:15 pm to get the part and said he'd be back very soon. By 7 pm I was worried he'd had an accident. I called his cell phone and got no response. I called the office and the lady told me she would call him and either he or she would return my call asap. By 7:30 pm I had heard nothing. I called his cell phone again and no response. I called the office and the lady acted surprised I had not heard from him. Again, I was told someone would call asap with an update. They never did. I believe about 7:35-7:40 he pulled into our driveway. I was livid and let the tech know. He really never apologized but explained that the place he had intended to pick up the part was closed and he had to drive to Kentucky to get this flange. A simple phone call could have alleviated our worries and frustration. This repair cost me $800. I will NEVER use HELP again.

They came right out and were on time. They did a good job and seem like a all around great company.

Not very good, very poor communication and service. We will cancel our appointment on the 25th since we got a another company to come out right away with no confusion and not hassles.

Actually I did have him for some electrical work and for that I would give them a D. I can't put my box back up on the wall. I can't put the cover back on the box.

They don't try to up sale. The price was reasonable. They were a little late so I give a B for punctuality and responsiveness. I would for sure use them again.

I'm on a plan, paying $20 a month. They come out ya know, and they reduce prices for other things. They were great, nothing to improve. They are good.

The service tech arrived a hour late, but, not a big deal. He quickly diagnosed the problem since the condenser was not working. Master of the obvious! The problem was a bad capacitor which can cost anywhere between $10-$50. It takes about 5 minutes to replace. HELP Heating & A/C charged me $502 to replace this part and did not perform any other service while here. The whole visit took 20-25 minutes. The biggest rip-off company in Cincinnati H&A/C service marketplace. I called to complain and was dismissed quickly by very rude customer service manager. Don't be a victim like me and do you homework!!

even though we have a problem now that we did not have before, i found that when i called a reported it they did not hesitate and sent some one out to fix the problem. i believe it was one minor issue and when i consider all that was done we all can make a mistake. i love the way they are handling the problem.

You Service Technicians Deandre and JJ, were very friendly, professional and got right to their jobs. They explained to me every thing that was going on, and explained to me what needed to be done PRIOR to my furnace tune up, as there was other much needed repairs that needed to be performed on our furnace.

Came in with nice exchange of pleasant conversation. Remembered he was here the last night for routine checkup Performed his job like a true professional Asked if we had any questions Offered the company many other services Had a polite conversation before he left and said to call him if we had any questions after he leaves.

It went well. They were thorough and explained things along the way. After installation, they assisted me in setting up the system and creating the account to be able to utilize the app on my phone to control the thermostat, etc.

I called to setup an appointment to have a drain cleared at a rental property. I had found a coupon on their website for any drain cleaned for a certain price. I could not read the small print on the coupon but it said for owner occupied properties only. The person that answered told me that I would have to have a contract with them in order for them to go to my property. I'm not going to have a contract that I have to pay monthly for me to use their services. I called another plumber and problem solved. They just lost out on business.

The guy came out and looked at my heat pump and said I needed a furnace. I was hesitant to let him in after that. He went downstairs and looked at the unit and said there was mold in it and I needed him to clean all the vents right away. He wanted to charge $9000 for 1100 sq. ft. house which is outrageous. He was a complete liar. Very high pressure, saying I had to do it that day to get the price. He will never set foot in my house again!

They were pretty punctual. I like the fact they were responsive and they did come out. They do good work but I don't think it was exceptional. I would not use them again because they overcharge.

Lewis was very punctual and courteous. Very knowledgeable of his trade and recommended upgrades that would benefit our family.

It is a plan we purchased and they come out twice a year. The price is a little high but they do good work. They usually come out quickly. They clean up after themselves and make sure the job is done right. In fact we will not have the furnace put in after a short period of time. A big part of it was bad and they found a better replacement of good quality. I would recommend them to anyone.

The only thing not good is the high prices but otherwords they do good work.
