Description of Work: I have their sign outside my home. They also donate to the veterans. They explain everything to you. The people they send out are very well quality for what they do. they will tell you whats wrong and then how long it will take them to do the job. They are right on the mark. They are very clean and they clean up after themselves even better than what it was. My gas bill gas is way down. The hot water is great. They also put extra vents in for me, and they put in 3 extra heating vents which I did need. Their trucks are fully equipped and have a very nice delivery system. All their equipment is good for 10 year guaranteed and can be passed on to the next person if i'd sell my home. You can't them. They had the fan blower down one notch lower, and then their was a person out within the hour and fixed it. They have checked my electrical box. They also put in a new thermostat with the new furnace. They also fixed my door bell.

THEY KEEP TRYING TO SELL ME STUFF. THEIR PRICES ARE HIGH, THEY DID SET MY THERMOSTAT CORRECTLY. EVER SINCE THEY FIXED MY HOT WATER HEATER, MY UPSTAIRS HOT WATER DOES NOT WORK.

WE CALLED THOMPSON BECAUSE THEIR NAME WAS ON THE FURNACE IN THE HOME WE JUST MOVED INTO. THEY ESTIMATED APPROXIMATELY $1,000 TO SERVICE THE HEAT PUMP, EAC, HUMIDIFIER AND INSTALL A PROGRAMMABLE THERMOSTAT. WE CALLED A WELL KNOWN REPUTABLE COMPANY TO GET A SECOND ESTIMATE. THEY AGREED WITH ALMOST EVERYTHING THAT THOMPSON'S ESTIMATE SAID NEEDED DONE, HOWEVER THEIR PRICE WAS NEARLY HALF OF WHAT THOMPSON HAD QUOTED.

THE PREVIOUS VALUE OF THESE TWO PIECES CAME FROM ANOTHER PLUMBER WHO CAME FOR ANOTHER JOB IN THE SAME AREA TWO DAYS LATER. I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THOMPSON HEATING AND COOLING AND ADVISED MY FAMILY ACCORDINGLY.

THE FURNACE STOPPED WORKING JANUARY 17TH. A TECHNICIAN SAID THE OIL PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE SERVICE CALL WAS $29.95. I WAS TOLD VERBALLY THAT THE COST WOULD BE $6,200 FOR A NEW BOILER. THE CONTACT WAS WRITTEN UP FOR $6,400 THOUGH WITH THE PROMISE TO TAKE AWAY THE OLD BOILER. THE BOILER IS STILL IN MY BASEMENT.
Description of Work: OCTOBER 31, I HAD A FURNACE PROBLEM AND CALLED THOMPSON HEATING & COOLING AFTER CHECKING WITH ANGIE'S LIST. THE FIRST TECHNICIAN CHARGED ME $270.15, BUT I STILL HAD NO HEAT. THE NEXT DAY ANOTHER TECHNICIAN CAME OUT AT NO CHARGE BUT I STILL DID NOT HAVE ANY HEAT. THE THIRD TIME A TECHNICIAN CAME OUT AND REPLACED THE CIRCULATING PUMP AND CHARGE ME $492.50. I QUESTIONED THE CHARGE OF $270.15 AND WAS GIVEN A $150 CREDIT

THE LADY AT THE OFFICE CALLED ME TO LET ME KNOW HE WAS ON HIS WAY TO DO THE WORK, HE WAS OUTSIDE MY DOOR WITHIN 15 MINUTES. I LOVED WORKING WITH THEM! THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL WITH ME AND I DIDNT FEEL AS THOUGH I WAS GETTING RIPPED OFF. THEY MADE A VERY GOOD IMPRESSION AND DID EXCELLENT WORK.
