Installers did a good job. We had our windows installed in two phases and both crews did a very good professional job.

They were great. The guy that showed me the windows done a great job explaining how the windows were made and what they're made of. He had the thing of the other people's windows, but their piece are the best. Gilkey's is, the UV rays is 95% to 97% UV rays protection. Not only that that they have chambers that don't let air in. They have the percentage of that air that don't get in.

It was excellent. Everything was done in a day. The windows were high quality and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them.

They were all nice and gave me a good deal. They did everything I asked. Jeffrey Bass was my project manager and he was a nice guy.

Install and cleanup were excellent They were prompt, professional and all the installs were completed as promised Only disappointment is that after the initial order was place and the install appointment was confirmed there was NO follow up from Gilley. No one called to ask about satisfaction, issues etc I would have expected some kind of follow up for the amount of $ spent.

Great quality, prompt service and easy to deal with. The price is more than other companies, but the quality and lifetime warranty are well worth it.

The glass had some fog in it . Went great. They replaced at no charge to us.

Overall we had a great experience. Having the windows for 6 months now we are very happy with the purchase. One of the unique things is that gilkey employs all of there install teams while most other window companies contract it out. I had all the interior trim repainted before installation and they didn't damage any of the over 20 windows they put in. They were fast, done by lunch, and we're clean and carefull. We were very happy with the installation. We shopped all the window companies and we felt that the gilkey window was just as good as the big name window companies but the price was in the middle when comparing all the quotes we had. They also have a very good warranty.

They performed the work as promised, quickly, and efficiently. Windows themselves not worth the extra cost compared to other companies at this point. Triple-paned, argon-filled, low-E windows that we purchased are just as cold in winter and as hot in summer as contractor grade double paned windows they replaced. The new windows function better than original and the sliding glass door is an improvement. Storm door is not the greatest quality.

Drop cloths not used for installation of three large windows; new floors tracked up with saw dust; worker sprayed with window cleaner and made it worse; water bottles dropped into the landscaping; wood fragments in lawn and bushes; door frame not caulked properly until I pointed out the big gap. No clean up of deck.....the attempt to clean up our new floors made the mess worse. This crew needed a supervisor.....not one in charge. The product is good....the installation left a lot to be desired.

I got Gilkey windows for another house is 1995. I had a problem with a broken seal on one window a few months ago. I called the service department not too long ago. They made a new window and came out to replace the bad one in about 6 weeks for a service call of $100. I have been very happy with the quality of the windows and installation and service from Gilkey, so I called them for an estimate on another house. I accepted the estimate. Someone came out to measure and it took them about 6 weeks to manufacture the windows. They called and sent an experienced installer to install the windows. He worked hard from 8 am to 6 pm removing the old windows and installing the new windows. He did an excellent job installing the new windows. He sprayed foam insulation around them and put up new flashing and caulking around them. They look really nice.

We had 5 companies come in to quote on our 23 replacement windows- Gilkey was one of the largest and most established companies we looked at. Brian, our sales contact, was right on time for our meeting and did not stay longer than the hour I'd allotted. During that time he demonstrated the window, listened to my concerns and needs, measured the windows and provided me with a quote. At no time did I ever feel pressured or that I was getting a hard sell. Brian assured me that I was getting Gilkey's best possible price and after subsequent discussions and inquiries, he held fast on his pricing to his word. Gilkey had what I assessed to be the best quality window of the 5 companies we talked with. Unfortunately their costs were commensurate with that quality. I don't believe it was an unfair price- just a bit out of our budget range. So while we did not make a purchase decision with Gilkey, I would have selected them as our partner of choice had our budget been more accommodating. I would recommend working with Gilkey for no other reason than they have a straightforward, honest approach to doing business and have a superior product.

We have not had the windows installed yet but they were very professional when they came out. They were very good and their responsiveness was also very good.

All windows and outside doors replaced by Gilkey Windows. We went to showroom. Their showroom has a lot more to see than most other showrooms with all the styles of windows represented. They came out and measured all the windows. We had to move all the furniture and curtains, etc. at least 3 feet away from windows before installation. When they started, they took out all the bottom-floor windows one day. Their team was fast and efficient. They also installed all the new windows in one day. Meanwhile, they had a separate crew replace the doors, taking off the old and installing the new the same day. The second day they completed the entire second floor. The doors and windows fit perfectly. They are energy-efficient, and they help muffle outside sounds, and are very easy to clean. If a window didn't shut as smooth as we wanted, or there was another adjustment necessary, they took care of it right away. They are excellent at follow-up work.

They were very nice to work with. When the windows were installed by the previous homeowner they put a lifetime warranty on them so we only had to pay $80 to have the picture window replaced.

The quality of the windows seems good, except for some condensation experienced with the windows, but are unhappy with the condition of the windows after installation. The windows were not cleaned after installation, as was promised, and caulk smears are on EVERY window. The person who sold us the windows (salesman) promised to "stop by" during the installation, but has not been by nor has he contacted us in any way since we signed the contract.

The salesman did a wonderful job explaining all the options for our window replacements. He did not pressure us into buying anything extra. The job was completed by 2 very competent installers. We love our new windows. They did a great job.

Prior to installation all measurements were taken. Installation went smoothly without any problems. Interior and exterior colors on the new windows matched perfectly with other existing windows and trim.
