Description of Work: Gilkey replaced 8 double hung original windows in my home that were no longer efficient or functional. The price was somewhat more than other vinyl competitors, but the quality, feel and reputation sold us. Their presentation was quick and to the point, their salesman was responsive to all questions and inquiries, and their install team was timely, skilled, and extremely friendly. So far, we have really enjoyed our windows and our house has remained noticeably cooler without the AC running constantly. I hope to never need to replace Windows again, but if I do, I'll likely use Gilkey.

Description of Work: We had 25 windows replaced and had a sliding glass door installed in our home. The sales person was very informative and courteous. The windows came within the time frame stated at the time of signing the contract and down payment. | |The 4 man installation crew were prompt and were very professional. All the work was completed within 6 hours which was fantastic as we were prepared for it to take several days. They did a very good job cleaning up after themselves. | |While Gilkey's prices are not the least expensive on the market we went with them because of the quality of their window, their warranty and location. We would definitely use Gilkey again in the future if needed.

Overall experience was good - had some issues when one of the windows was not manufactured and they had to - it took 2 more trips to finish the job. High quality product, and commitment to customer satisfaction were pluses. Communication and timing from order to install could have been slightly better.

Description of Work: My experience with Gilkey was very satisfactory. I needed an exterior door, a storm door and two patio doors. Gilkey's salesman, Brian, explained the different types of doors available for the purposes I needed and showed me samples of the way the exterior doors are made. Brian was very patient while I was deciding what I wanted. He took his time, did not rush me. When the doors were installed, the crew were very professional. The frame for the exterior door & storm door needed extensive adjustments. These adjustments were done in a timely manner with no complaining.They cleaned up their mess.
