Gerard Home Inspection

1st time house buyer, I had no idea what to expect. Luke was very friendly, polite and definitely knew what he was doing. Very thorough, took time to explain anything and everything. Even had suggestions on how to repair some items myself. Answered every question I had and then like promised next day I had the report with no surprises in it as he covered it all in person. Great person, thank you Luke!

Luke was just outstanding. We had a house in Lebanon inspected and the service, exhaustive review and follow up with us was great. We live in Oregon so we felt with them on line and by phone and the responsiveness and quality of their 105 page report was essential to us. We definitely would use them again. Amazing! Stephen Zumdick Knows what he is doing and is beyond professional. He is very thorough and explains things in a manner that was easy for us to understand. Derek is very knowledgeable. He told us the items that needed to be address. More importantly, he patiently answered all our questions in a friendly yet professional manner.

Ryan was amazing. He was so thorough and explained everything to us. Based on the results of the inspection, I decided not to go forward with the contract, and was so glad Ryan could explain everything to us so we didn’t get into a mess. We ended up putting a contract in on a second house and asked for Ryan once again.

Stephen Zumdick wrote a 68 page report pointing major repairs/replacement needed; roof, all havoc, electric panel, chiming cracks, etc. The seller did not disclose any of these and other items. Because of his report, we rejected the money pit house. He spent an hour pointing out the defects, and a hundred pictures showed us the complete wear of the roof, etc. He also pointed out several good points. As we now have to start over again, we will request Steve again. He represent Gerard Home inspection well.

Our inspector communicated clearly, and was very efficent and knowledgable. A really great value!

As a first time home buyer, I have heard so many horror stories about getting inspections scheduled and completed in a timely manner but did not run into any of this with with Gerard. I gave them a call on Saturday and had the inspection scheduled and completed by Tuesday afternoon. It was truly an easy process from start to finish.

He was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and made us feel confident in the home we will be living in for the rest of our lives. Luke was also very friendly and patient! We really appreciated his patience because he finished the inspection on a Friday, and we had many family who wanted to see the house and arrived at different times. He made conversation with my elderly father while others were able to look at the property for the first time. His report was detailed and he gave us his honest, professional assessment and assured us we were getting a solid house. We would use him again, but we aren't planning to move again. :)
