Wonderful! Everything was done in a timely manner and the report was sent to me immediately. The report was very detailed with pictures and recommendations. Ryan Zumdick completed the inspection and was very thorough, friendly, and professional. My daughter was there for the "walk through" and Ryan took time to explain everything to her. The office staff were very helpful, too!

Derek explained each inspection point thoroughly and provided professional opinions throughout. His manner was professional and relatable.

Derek had arrived at the house well before we were to meet him at the house. When we arrived his inspection was complete; so, he didn't have to waste our time watching him test things. He walked us through the home pointing out the items that needed attention. His final report was very comprehensive. I would definitely hire them again.

My wife and I chose Gerard Home Inspection to perform the inspection of a home we were in the process of purchasing. Derek Rison came out to perform it. We can honestly not recommend him and Gerard Home Inspection enough. Derek was extremely understanding of my wife and I running late (we got lost), took us point by point through every issue he identified, and made certain we understood what he was talking about before moving on. He gave us a frank analysis on what is and what is not a big deal. The issues we thought were the biggest going in turned out to be relatively minor. The issues that we thought were minor (or didn't even notice) turned out to be significant. At the end of the inspection, Derek spent a decent amount of time talking about the big picture of the necessary repairs, gave suggestions, and helped us process everything. He knew exactly how to give bad news in an honest and considerate manner. We were promised a full, detailed report with the pictures Derek had taken within 24 hours. He had it to us within 6. All this isn't even touching on the fact that their rate was more than fair, and significantly lower than several (lower-reviewed) companies we received quotes from. While we were not happy with the ultimate condition of the home thatwas being inspected, we are extremely satisfied with the service we received from Derek and Gerard Home Inspection. We will certainly be utilizing their service in the future, and I highly recommend that you do as well.

We bought a house in August of last year and had Gerard Home Inspections come out. Garrett was great when he came out, seem very knowledgeable and seemed as if he was doing a very thorough job. We were unable to stay the entire time of the inspection due to time constraints so we weren't actually able to walk through the entire house with him. We moved into the house in September and the very first day my wife who is not a certified home inspector saw something off with the door, we quickly discovered that there was a leak coming from the door and had rotted a hole all the way through the subflooring. We called Garrett and asked how this could have been missed and after a discussion he was willing to give us a refund. We were frustrated because this was missed but were happy with his response. But since then we have noticed multiple things that were never mentioned on the report and now we are experiencing leaking in our bathroom after he told us that the house was in great shape. I feel bad writing this review because he seems like he is a really good guy but unfortunately looking back on our experience I would recommend another home inspector.

Garrett's expertise and professionalism made a tough decision a lot easier. We decided that the house we were looking at was not the right home for us after the very thorough inspection done by Garrett Gerard.
