Inspection showed up on time and walked me through everything he saw. He was very informative and did a thorough job. I did have to call back because the inspection report was late in getting to me, but it seemed like a glitch in their system as they were able to give me the report just minutes after I called.

The inspection went fine but they overlooked some important issue. After the purchase, I found the issue and contacted them. My communication was totally ignored by them with no response. I am disappointed and won't recommend others to use them.

Fantastic. I have owned several homes, and have had several home inspections performed by various companies. However this was my fiancés first home buying experience. When I called to schedule the inspection, the lady that answered the phone was very professional in scheduling as well as answering all my questions. She also coordinated directly with my Realtor to make scheduling as easy as I could have imagined. Derek was my inspector and he was incredibly thorough as well as patient with answering all our questions. He was able to convey the scope of what would be covered in a way that both my fiancé and I were comfortable with as well as putting things into laymen's terms. This was far and away the most comprehensive home inspection I have ever had. We really felt like Derek was looking at this house as if he was going to purchase it himself. My fiancé is very detail oriented and therefore had lots of questions, Derek was able to answer any question she had while never seeming rushed. After the inspection Derek was available to help us in creating a list of items that need to be addressed. We needed to have a follow up in inspection and Heather (the same young lady who originally scheduled the inspection I believe) went out of her way to fit us into the schedule prior to our closing date. I will never use another home inspection firm again! Not only did Gerard Home Inspections save us a great deal of money but they gave us peace of mind. Thank you all!!

Andrew of Gerard Home Inspections was great. Thorough and professional. He didn't mind me following him around and "interrupting at times" with questions and concerns. Took his time, we were allotted 3 hours for the inspection and used almost the entire time. I would recommend Gerard and if the need should arise again, I would request Andrew the next time.

Garrett was extremely thorough and prompt. Not only was the inspection quickly scheduled, the resulting report was delivered within hours of the inspection. He used photos to detail the working order of everything in the house and everything was presented in terms that I could understand. Because of Garrett's work, I was able to get $2,500 reduced off the sales price for repair items.
